Esopha "I LOVE YOU, TOO, INLE!!!"Chikara called after her, immensely, completely, and absurdly drunk. She let out another giggle and said to Rae, "I'm sorry Ms. B - I mean Rae! I didn't mean to upset you. HICCUP." Chikara helped herself to the chunky-style margarita, and grinned at Rae. "Isn't Inle sooooooo sweet? I think... Hey! You have bunny ears... HI RAE!!" Chikara swallowed the entire glass of margarita and giggled again. "You really, really need to stop drinking," Rae told the absurdly drunk Chikara. Setting down Chikara's beer, she plucked the margarita out of her hands as well, and put it on the nearest table. "And I told you not to have anymore alcohol. Come on, we're going to get you some fresh air." Rae herself was showing no signs of drunken-ness - either she had an inhumanly high tolerance, or there was something else...but whatever it was, it wasn't showing itself. She took ahold of Chikara's arm, and gently tugged her towards the door.

Chikara giggled happily and hugged Rae's arm, rubbing her face against her elbow. "Okay, Rae! Let's go get some fresh air, Mr. Bob." She let Rae lead her outside, into the sort-of damp air. But of course, she couldn't tell. The world was spinning and she was happy. "Hey look it's Inle! Hiiiiiiiiiii...bunnyyy...pooooonies play..." She hiccuped again. Suddenly, she blinked and looked at Rae again...the two of them.

"You stay right here," Rae told the girl, tugging her elbow out of its dangerous position and vanishing back inside to find a cloth and some water. The water she found easily, knowing that the kids certainly wouldn't be drinking beer or margaritas, but she had to hunt for a while to find a cloth. She finally found one, and pushed her way through the crowd back to the water, but once she had dampened the napkin, the crowd converged and she was hard put to get through. When she at last got through, she hurried outside, knowing people did stupid things when drunk and left alone.

"Okaaaaaaaay capitaaaaaaaaan!" Chikara giggled, spinning around in a circle, then collapsing on somebody's shoe. Chikara smiled happily, unaware of the fact that she was lying face down the cement. She rolled over and collided with the building, which she started kissing happily. "I'M SO GLAD YOU DECIDED TO DYE YOUR HAIR PINK, GABRI! YOU LOOK SO LOVELY!" Chikara stopped sucking at the wall and blinked, then stood up and ran straight into it.

Rae finally made her way outside, only to find Chikara out cold on the grass. She felt her forehead, damp napkin forgotten, and found what looked like a painful lump beginning to form. "Oh, oh dear. Look what you've done. I don't even know your name!" Leaving the napkin on the ground, she hurried back inside the building to look for someone in charge. Only problem - she didn't know anyone. Oddly enough, there was a naked floating boy she hadn't noticed before, over by the concessions. She hurried over, and cautiously tapped him on the shoulder. "Um, excuse me Mr. Naked Boy, I'm Rae, but anyway, uh, there's a girl unconscious out front. She got really drunk, and I think she walked into the building. Do you know who's in charge here? I'm going to need some help getting her inside." Smooth, Rae, real smooth. Mr. Naked Boy indeed.

Chikara was floating deeper and deeper into her dream, which consisted of...erm...interesting things. She was completely oblivious to the world, having been knocked out just a few minutes before by crashing into a wall, but that didn't happen to dull the...happy images that passed through her head. Oh, yes, they were NOT sugar plums. She was getting to a part where there was much chocolate and whipped cream involved when her dream changed to something much less pleasurable: she was a little glass shard and was running - did shards have legs? - away from a naked boy covered - kind of - in ribbons. How odd. She swam about in this dream for a few minutes before she forced the dream to change back to chocolate and ice cream.

This party had been very enjoyable, but Chuu felt that there were other places she should go and other people she should see. Besides, she felt (or at least hoped) that she would meet these strange children again, and maybe even become a more staple part of the lives that lay ahead of them.
She found Jocelyn and Asrafel and said respective goodbyes to them, apologizing for leaving so early. And then the young magician was out the door and on her way- but not before leaving a bowl of chocolate bonbons on the snack table.

With a sigh, Rae turned away from the non-responsive Asrafel and once again went outside to Chikara. The cloth was exactly where she had left it, so she picked it up and began squeezing water on the poor girl's head and face.

Alania led Aki around to the back, scrambling her pocket for the keys before opening the door and holding it open. She allowed Aki in before herself, closing the door behind her. Only after they had entered the building, safe in the back where the party was only a distant and annoying hum, did Alania allow herself to genuinly smile.
She leaned back on the door, her hand still curved around the doorknob, and cocked her head slightly, giving Aki an obvious once over.
"You look nice." She breathed out quietly, before flipping the lights on and pointing toward her office. "That one's mine. Go ahead on it, I didn't lock it before I bolted out of this joint when I noticed the beer."
She locked the door behind her quietly, before moving past Aki and checking the door that led to the front lobby. She peeked through a crack, giving a glance to the crowd (most of which she didn't know) before catching a pair of blue eyes.
The one pair of eyes she really, really didn't want to catch.
"...There she is!" Asrafel squealed to no one in particular, and looked around desperately for Orestae or Inle. Now he couldn't find either of them! How ridiculous, honestly! He looked out the window, and spied not only Inle, but his mother and father as well! He excused himself from Elle, Eight and Shauna, before zipping hurriedly outside.
"Dad, Alania's inside! Should I tell everyone to hide?!"
"Uh, no that's okay, Asra."
"But the surprise~!"
"It's safe to say she knew about the party from the beginning, Asra. Just let people enjoy themselves until the party's over."
"Aww.. no surprise.." He pouted softly, his wings drooping as he hovered dejectedly back inside.

"Thank you." She kept quiet as Lani peeked out the door, tilting her head absently to listen. There was some sort of misunderstanding, it seemed...everyone wanted Lani, and Lani didn't seem to want anything but peace and quiet.
Still holding her little purse, Aki was far from making herself comfortable. "Would you like to go...somewhere else? Or I could go, if you'd like. You seem...busy." She was still a little unsettled about seeing Lani with the babe, or rather, unsettled at how she'd felt when she saw it.
Taking a few quiet steps forward, Aki settled a hand upon Lani's waist and dropped her gaze. Somehow, she still managed to feel out of place...but there's no one she'd rather feel awkward with. "Whatever you'd like. Just let me know."
**
Brows rising as Asra zipped away, Elle chuckled...sharing a shrug with Eight. "I must have missed something. Anyway, yes...isn't that cute? Since we're sisters, we should look alike!"
Elle tapped the smudged 'paw print' in pollen on her own cheek, smiling at Shauna as the babe puffed. Reaching forward to poke her on the cheek mark, Elle's smile widened into a grin.
"You should come over and play, both of you! I'm sure my housemates wouldn't mind."

Eight nodded, hitching Shauna up a bit so she could hold her more comfortably. It was odd holding her with a puffed out chest.
Shauna squealed and buried her face into her mother''s chest when her cheek was poked, her ears flattening against her hair as she did so. Moments later she peeked back at Elle with one eye before burying her face even deeper into Eight''s chest, play time was now! "That would be great! Where do you live?" She blinked. "Housemates? Don''t tell me you have as many children as me~!" Ten, counting Shauna.

"Yes." Alania answered plainly, though her voice sounded filled with relief. "I would like to go somewhere. Anywhere but here." At first it may have sounded like she wanted to be alone just as Aki had thought, but her actions proved otherwise. She took a few bold steps forward just as Aki had tentatively done the same, but her hand did not languidly settle on Aki's waist. Her movements were much sharper, quicker. She wrapped her opposite arm fully around the woman and picked her up right off her feet, holding her a few inches off the ground.
"Do you know what I'd like to do, Aki? I'd like to hold my breath until I get dizzy and have to let it out. I'd like to run for miles until I run out of breath and feel like my heart is going to explode from my chest. Like right now, Aki. Like how I feel, right now."
She took hold of the woman's free hand and held it palm flush against her chest, pressing it none too gently against her own heart.
"I'd like to take you as far from here as is physically possible, and thoroughly find out just what kind of spell you've caught me under, and what kind of magic you've done. That's what I'd like to do, Aki. That's what I would like to do."
She was almost out of breath when she finished her little explosive rant, and her heavy expression broke into a foolish smile.

For a moment, she simply listened...to startled by the motion and the feeling of a heart that was supposed to be dead leaping under her fingertips. As Lani talked, Aki began to nod...melting against her companion though her feet still hadn't returned to the ground.
"Then lets." She kept her hand flat against Lani's chest, still pressed close as her lips parted. It was simpler than a smile, it was just the way happiness settled upon her usually concerned face.
Aki was back on her feet. She didn't remember being put down, and couldn't really tell the difference. She was still pressed close, heart racing with Alania's. She held the woman's gaze as her free hand slid down her own thigh, reaching for the laces upon her high boots. A few moments later, both had been kicked free and tumbled forgotten...she stood bare foot and several inches shorter.
Her hand moved from Lani's heart to the back of her neck, fingers drifting lightly as she stole a kiss. Not a quick kiss, or a gentle kiss...the kind of kiss that leaves you with a sore jaw and someone elses gum. Or, in this case, a breathless smile and two glowing ladies.
"Lets. Right now."
**
"No, no children." Shaking her head sadly, Elle ducked down a bit to be closer to eye level with Shauna...gasping every time the girl peeked and spotted her.
"My housemate, Aki, has children, though. I work as a part time nanny for her, in exchange for rent and a family. You know, the important things."
Elle whipped her head to the side, eyes going wide as she pretended to stare at something of dire importance. She waited until Shauna peeked up and began to look for it as well before diving in for another tickle.
"How many brothers and sisters does Shauna have?"

The removal of Aki's boots brought a slight confusion to Alania, but all thoughts melted away when the woman leaned up to kiss her. Rather, it couldn't really be called a kiss, so much as a claim; and it's statement was hardly rejected. Alania allowed the briefest of whimpers against Aki's lips as she kissed her, stunned by the passion allotted within it's depths. She had almost forgotten to breathe the entire time, and when Aki finally pulled away from her, the woman had already fulfilled one of her wishes. She was left breathless and dizzy, with a lightheadedness she hadn't felt in.. longer than she could remember.
In her dizzy haze, she briefly wondered what other wishes Aki was preparing to fulfill.
Getaway be damned, Alania didn't much feel like leaving anymore at the moment. She leaned to the side and opened the door to her office, before setting back in front of Aki and taking sidesteps forward. Her movements would end up gently forcing Aki to walk backwards.
"But I've got nowhere to go." She responded, kissing the woman's forehead as she continued herding her backwards into the office. "Truth be told, I'd be perfectly happy anywhere, so long as I can be alone with you."
Aki was swamped in darkness at this point, as she had entered the office. Alania didn't bother turning on the light before closing the door with the back of her foot - it was much more fun that way.
-----
Asrafel had stayed by the door all this time as everyone had begun filing out. He shook everyone's hand and told them to come visit anytime, before surveying the last few people still there, and the damage. He put a hand to his cheek and sighed softly, shaking his head.
"Oh dear. What a mess."
"Excuse me young man.. we've been receiving complaints about the noise level coming from this building.." The officers who had just drove up had stopped in front of the nearly naked boy, and began to file out. One of them gave the boy an unruly look, while the other bent down and picked up a glass, sniffing it. He nodded his head to the police officer behind him, confirming the presence of alcohol around children, and in public.
".. Oh dear."

"s**t." Not just one cop cars, not two, but three. She slipped away from the family as she saw them approach, darting inside to look for her bag and her kid. The bag was found easily enough and it resided in its usual position, slung crosswise over her chest, but she couldn't seem to find Cal. She hadn't noticed Asrafel by the door and to her horror, the policemen entered the Center. The absolute last thing she wanted to do was to spend the night in jail, and it was only by chance that she spotted Asrafel's brightly colored ribbons. Making a beeline for the naked boy, she leaned towards him to wrest her almost-sleeping son from his arms.
"I suggest you get out of here, and whatever you do, don't mention my name," she muttered quietly in his ear as she settled Calumet against her shoulder. "Thank Orestae for the lovely party!" she said in a falsely bright tone as she pulled away. She winked and smirked at Asrafel before slipping out the door, walking down the street in a calm but quick fashion.
