Actually, look at the lyrics for "Remember" By John Lennon -

"Remember when you were young,
How the hero was never hung,
Always got away,
Remember how the man,
Used to leave you empty handed,
Always, always let you down,
If you ever change your mind,
About leaving it all behind,
Remember, remember today.
Don't you worry,
'Bout what you've done,
Don't feel sorry,
'Bout the way it's gone.
Remember when you were small,
How people seemed so tall,
Always had their way,
Do you remember your ma and pa,
Just wishing for movie stardom
Always, always playing a part,
If you ever feel so sad,
And the whole world is driving you mad,
Remember, remember today.
Don't feel sorry,
'Bout the way it's gone,
Don't you worry,
'Bout what you've done,
Remember, remember the fifth of November.
(Explosion)

"

I didn't realize the song actually HAD that in it! "Remember" Just caught my eye. Nice.

Yes, Lennon had Guy Fawkes Day in mind when he wrote that. And that is why they killed him... I kid about that last bit!

J.D. Salinger was against V!

Yeah, apparently huh? I didn't realize at first though - the first time I saw the lyrics it didn't have that last part, so I thought it went rather nicely with the theme but the hanging and stuff was coincidental. But finding the lyrics with that in it was just delicious icing on the cake.

A good one for the king:

"Try Not To Remember" By Sheryl Crow.

xD

Thank you my dear. Surely you would feel more comfortable holding a royal bouquet...

That phrase "royal bouquet" makes me lol. It sounds like a fragrance for a urinal cake. rolleyes

How dare you! You are at the top of my list now!

Personal Note: Cancel urinal cake contract.

Nonsense, dear king! I for one would be honored to make use of one. I'm sure Sir Fawkes would as well, just look at them!

Tell me truthfully, how did you like the song game, and she would play it again tomorrow when there are more of us online?

It was a marvelous game, I'd say playing it again would be fantastic. With that many people, we would have to get creative very quickly as the obvious songs dried up.

I think it's a great game, so I'd like to see it played again so more people have a chance to join in.

Fawkes - The song game is much fun. Except when you're not listening to music and have no ideas. >>;
And I wasn't sure whether we were just using song titles, litteral song lyrics, abstract song meanings, all - so that might want to be clarified if played again. :3

Damn the summoning tome is cool.

V is um... holding a very special book that the government had banned, which V saved.

Thank you Mae.

Do we have any artist present? I would love to see an advert for "Royal Bouquet" brand urinal cakes...

Actually, I was planning to do one but I wanted to get some sort of image in before the joke got too stale. I'll get started immediately.
