Shadow's smokey form coiled around Geoff as he chuckled. "I told you I'd kill you if you came close to that statue. Perhaps you should have listened?" he hissed in Geoff's ear. He chuckled again, a truly horrible noise to hear. "One more angel down." he said, his reptilian lips curling into a horibble grin.

Geoff turned his head to the shadow with a smirk on his face. Now it was time to see why the angel was such a skilled warrior. In a matter of Seconds, the warrior had his lance in his left and ready to strike. "Another Angel down? Not so fast." Geoff swung his lance at the beast only to see it, send a tear down the middle of the shadow, quickly filling back in with more dark matter. No use. The warrior didn't know what he was going to do next, but he had to think fast. His energy was low and his strength lower, he only had a few more swings left, so he had to figure out how to hurt this thing.

Shadow chuckled, slowly circling Geoff. "What? Did you think it was some sort of idle threat?" he said, his horrible voice cutting the night air. "You've heard how terrible my voice is to behold. I rarely speak before thinking what I'm going to say through. Especially in the presence of angels." He stopped circling in front of Geoff and coiled himself up. Then he sprung at Geoff again, mouth wide and fangs bared.

Geoff moved away fast with a smirk across his lips. "But the one thing you did wrong was underestimate me. I may be an Angel, but an Angel that won't back down from the likes of you." All this was being said with his back to the snake, but the warrior turned around quick, that smile still on his face. His lance was brought up to his face and extended out in front of him as he began to whirl it around, going hand to hand the lace began to pick up speed and soon only you could see was a blur. The ground around him started to kick up dirt, and before long, a Tornado exited the Lance's spiral and shot towards the Shadow.

Shadow snorted as he watched Geoff twirl his lance in front of him. What did this angel think he was doing? He already knew that his weapon could hurt Shadow. Or at least Shadow thought Geoff figured it out since the lance had passed through him only a few moments before. He slithered forward a little and coiled himself for another strike, stopping to watch the angel. He watched with slight intrest as the tornado came at him, then passed right through him. "Really. If your blade couldn't touch me, what made you think wind would?" he scoffed. He then lunged again with surprising speed.
((Shadow's a giant snake now, btw. Oh, and he also can't kill Geoff right now. He can only made Geoff so weak he can't move.))

The angel stared on in amazement as the wind ripped right through Shadow, yet did nothing.
When the snake lunged at Geoff, the warrior couldn't move in time and was hit dead on, bringing him to his knee, once again.

And there it was again-- multiple times. It was Shadow, it had to be...
Standing from her son's bedside, Shiero moved her way to the window just in time to see the clouded snake figure pass through Geoff, causing the lance weilder to cave and fall to one knee.
Finding the base of the window with her fingers blindly in the dimly-litted room, Raine pulled the window open. Parting her lips to bellow something to the courtyard of the quaint home, the female paused. No... That would only wake Raithill from his now peaceful slumber, taht would be a poor choice.
Holding her palm out away from her body, a sleek, curved weapon appeared in her left hand as a thin arrow formed in her right. Holding the bow at a perfect degree, Shiero mounted the arrow before pulling the string back towards her cheek, her shoulderblades pinching as they were pulled tightly together. Keeping both of her eyes open for accuracy, the mother released her fingers from around thr string, causing the arrow to fly just over Geoff's duck head from exhaustion and directly through the core of Shadow's misty figure. She knew very well that this would not hurt the creature, but harming him was not her intention. She wanted to grab Shadow's attention, that was all.
Though she had absolutely no control over Shadow, she suspected that perhaps a little warning from his master's... Girlfriend, so to say, would put him in place. Or at least, cause him to back down a bit. SHe promised Raithill taht she would not leave him, therefore, she was trapped where she was...

"Tick, tock, tick, tock, your time is running out." Shadow said, circling around Geoff. He hissed, the sound like a combination of a hiss and two sheets of metal being rubbed together. "Maybe I won't kill you right away... No... I've got a better idea." he chuckled and grinned, his blood red eyes locking on Geoff as his head passed in front of him. "I'll drain all your strength away and let you lie here to die of dehydration. How does that sound?" He 'felt' Raine's arrow pass through him and looked up at the house breifly, then down at Geoff again. At the moment, he had no intention to kill the angel, so he ignored the arrow and lunged again.

[Silent_Seraph] Damnit all to hell. Leave? Or not to leave? It was rather difficult. If Shadow didn't shut up anytime soon, Raithill would most likely wake up... Which would probably be when she was outside, right? Thus, being caught so to say, breaking the promise she made to her son.
But there was the option of taking him with her-- And what? Putting him in danger? No, he couldn't die from the creature, but he could get fatigued easily, not to mention that his body was smaller, which would cause his energy to leave himself quicker.
She had to leave him.. Just for a moment.
"Damnit.." She cursed beneath her breath, glancing over to her son, pressing her hand against Raithill's temple, moving her hand through his hair and pressing her lips against his forehead.
"Mommy will be back soon, alright?" She whispered to him gently, before dashing down thr stairs with light footsteps, shfiting out into the courtyard. She knew that Geoff should have followed her in the moment she took Raithill to bed.. Of course something like this would happen now.
Emerging outside, Shiero positioned herself between Shadow and Geoff, her arms extended. She was defending him-- protecting him. Damnit all to hell, what did this creature have against him? Clearly Geoff had nothing against Durithill, or his entrance into the Realm wouldn't have been permitted.
"Stop it! That's quite enough! Away with you, Shadow!"

((Clearly, lol.))
Shadow hissed again as Raine came between him and the angel. Things were never easy. "As much as I tolerate you, Raine, I only take orders from my master." he said, circling around the both of them. "And he's not really in a position to issue orders right now, so untill them I sort of have to follow his last one, which was to keep him safe at all costs." He stopped and fixed his blood red eyes on Raine, the upper half of his serpentine body rising off the ground. "At all costs." he repeated in a deatly quiet voice.

"He, nor I were causing any difficulties.." Shiero replied, clearly offended with the entire mentioning of Durithill's orders. What, did he actually think she would allow Geoff to do anything.
"Geoff is no threat to you nor Durithill. Again, away with you!" Raine hissed before lowering her guard and dropping her arms to her sides. Turning to Geoff whom continued to kneel on the ground through fatigue. Sliding an arm around the man's waist, Shiero slowly picked him up with a bit of a grunt, her azure eyes a golden colour, resembling her annoyance.
Pushing the door she left open with her foot lightly, Raine moved the man into the house. She was clearly aggrivated by the entire situation and the creature's view of it all. It was before she closed the door with her heel did she spit a few words at the shadow, as if trying to bring the creature to realization.
"If he had an ill attitude towards Durithill, rest assured, his entrance would not be permitted into this realm!" And with that, she closed the door firmly shut.

Shadow snorted and disapeared into the darkness of the grass as a mouse. "Fool. She doesn't understand Durithill's will..." the creature said, skittering around the base of Durithill's statue. "It would have been so much simpler if she hadn't interfeared. Damn it all, I should have taken her down as ordered." he fumed to himself, looking up at the moon. He sighed and lay to rest in the dirt.

Geoff laid there motionless. All his energy was gone, he couldn't move, couldn't speak, and at the moment, couldn't even think. He winced in pain as he tried to move his arm, but it wasn't moving.
He was hoping the fatigue wouldn't last long considering he didn't want to hold up the adventure, that was to begin in the morning.

Raine grunted, shifting the collapsed man onto the prepared couch awkwardly. Once the majority of his body, being his upper and lower torso rested on the furniture, Raine moved his legs onto the sofa as well before draping a thin blanket over her body. With a bit of a sigh, Raine placed her hand to her forehead. She was exhausted herself. Hopefully Geoff would be alright down here. Raithill definately wouldn't have been comfortable with him upstairs.
Shiero moved slowly and quietly up the stairs to the loft where her son slept. Walking over to her son's bedside, she smiled down at him lightly. It was only until then that she realized...
What was it that both her son and Shadow had against this man?
Raine's face seemed to go a ghostly colour. Clearly there was something wrong with the male... But what was it? Whe couldn't she see it?
Walking over to the door at the top of the stairs, Shiero flicked the lock closed. Perhaps what she thought was right was quite wrong..
