Vincent, seeing the young woman behind Kail, smiles warmly and bows.
"My lady, pleased to meet you. I am Vincent Victor Valentine." He notices her eyes moving toward the demonic sword. He holds the sword limply in front of him, "You needn't fear this blade as long as I wield it. You all look exhausted..." he reaches into his pouch, "Trail rations, they'll give you energy...and they don't taste half bad if I do say so myself! Though I would suggest some sleep for you all; seems to be what you really need."

"Please, sleep a little while longer if you wish. I'll keep watch." he gives another warm smile, though it doesn't seem to reach his eyes. "If not, it is as Kail said:" Vincent raises his blade, "I am here to help."

Luc wakes suddenly from his haze. Due to his past Luc can't help but become entranced at the thought of getting revenge on all thieves. Forcing himself out of his blood-thirsty self and into his happy childish self he looks at the new addition to the wagon trian. "I'm fairly tired, but after a bit of rest I can take up the next shift, so you can get some sleep yourself. I'm Luc! Nice to meet you." Luc walks, almost skips, over to Vincent. He holds his hand out for a shake, not really noticing the long demonic blade. He looks down and see's the blade coming out of the man's arm. "Ah... sorry" Luc changes hands to shake Vincent's free one.

Regardless of whether you decide to rest further or not, the night passes without further incident. Master Morty welcomes the capable looking warrior, giving only a slightly obvious stare at the Demonic Arm Accessory. Shakng his head, he climbs onto his wagon ready to proceed. The morning is cool, as clouds begin to gather overhead. A few hours later a light, cold rain begins to fall. Visibility is reduced, but not so much as to cause undue alarm. The cold rain slowly penetrates, stealing the warmth from your bodies.
In the distance, you see what appears to be a blockade of sorts. Stretched across the road are several tree trunks, laced together in a rudimentary but effective barrier. In front of the barrier, are 2 Bandit Warriors (Lieutenant). Behind the Barrier is a single Bandit Sorceror (Lieutenant) and 3 Bandit Scum. The Barrier provides an effective defense against normal attacks, adding 3 points to the Bandit Scum and Sorceror's defense versus normal attacks.

(2) Bandit Warrior (Lieutenant)

A: 0, D: 2 (5), C: 0, M: 2(5), L: 4(20), E: 3(Sorceror's Amulet), Ability: Skilled Caster, Spell: Energy Burst
Speaking in a loud, grating tone, one of the Warriors, calls out. "That's far enough, mates. Apparently, you're not getting the hint; I'll explain it one last time. What you think is yours, isn't. You've just been pack mules, bringing it here for us. Now, drop it where you stand, or things are going to get real ugly round here..."

Luc takes up a postition next to his comrades. Waiting for Kail to give his reply Luc waits ready to pounce at any moment. The anger rises within Luc swollowing his mind. These jerks. Who do they think they are. They're just the same as that thieves guild who captured me back then. Luc's anger swells and trives within him. From the second he saw the bandits it began to grow, and by the time they stopped talking Luc could barely stand it anymore. Ready to attack Luc holds himself back as best he can.

As the party travels on, Petra huddles in the back of a wagon, her thin dress providing little shield from the chilling rain that begins to fall. Her exhaustion is making the world look even grayer than it is, and, jostled by the bumps and frozen by the rain, Petra starts to drift off.
She is abruptly awoken by the wagon's sudden stop and lifted her shivering body out of it. Her heart sinks as she saw a road block... and more bandits. We'll never get out of here alive, she thinks, defeated. They simply won't let us--there will be more and more until we just can't fight any more! She stumbles towards Kail, remembering with a slight blush the comforting hug he had given her. So kind of him...
She stops at the bandit warrior's call. "Bringing... what?" she whispers, half to herself. Petra knows nothing of the cargo being carried by the wagons, and she scans them quickly, but nothing looks out of the ordinary to her. She feels her resolve fluttering like an injured butterfly, but steels herself--I have to be strong. They need me to keep them... They need me to keep them alive! She stands behind Kail, scared, but prepared to fight once again.

Kail'igen sighs. The bandits message was getting old. Kail had always been one slow to anger and with a near endless amount of patience. However, with his lack of sleep the bandits were starting to get on his nerves. Still, he kept his calm. Kail whispers to his party members. "Petra I'm going to need you to cast a blast of energy at the warrior to the left, do you think you can do that? Vincent can you take the warrior on the right? I'll silence the sorcerer and luc I want you to to attack anything that comes after you or Petra." Kail then speaks to he sorcerer bandit. "Once again I'm afraid I must decline your offer. Now if you excuse us we will be on our way." Kail then launches his giant fireball at the sorcerer making sure to have part of it split off and strike the warrior and one bandit.)

Luc's rage engulfs him as he goes charging into battle attacking the first thing to attack the party and casting Mana burst on bandit scum 1. "YOU REPULSIVE, STEALING, GREEDY, FILTHY, CORRUPT, BLOODTHIRSTY, LOWLIFE, BANDITS! YOU SHALL ALL PERISH BEFORE US!!! BRING IT ON!!!" Luc screams as he gives it his all.

The Bandits Warriors spring into action, aiming a attack/Smash combo at the individual that they perceive as the greatest threat; Kail.
The Bandit Sorceror lobs an Energy Burst at Vincent.
Bandit Scum 1,2, and 3 Taunt anyone foolish enough to attack, retaliating in kind. If no one attacks, they will leave the safety of the barrier and attack Petra.
(You may edit your battle posts as necessary; I will complete the round once Vincent and Petra have made their post. And Luc is now equipped with the Taunt Action.)

Vincent charges in, furious at the cowardly bandits and their foolhardy barriers. Vincent throws an open hand at one of the bandit warriors, his arm erupting in blood. From the wounds fly a silver ball of energy, which clashes with the bandits chest. He then turns his attention to one of the bandit scum, whom he launches over the barrier to attack with a powerful arching swing.
Attack: 16 damage
Ability: None
action: Blood Burn (sacrifice 10hp to deal 20hp to Bandit Warrior)
MP:0
AP:0
HP:30/40
((Sorry it took so long to post. I had CQ from 3:00 am to 5:00am, and I had to get some extra sleep. I'll try in the future to post more frequently when I'm on.))

((lol We understand, your Army duties come first. Alphabetfish has been pretty busy too. She'll post today at some point. Luc I' need you to taunt one of these warriors off me. Between the two of them they just need roll a combination of 13 to one shot me. With their d12 dice that wont be hard. ))

Sorry it took so long, I had to go to work, and then after that it snowed, and so I had to go snowplowing all night. Ok I'm changing my coarse of action. Just ignore my last post please.)
Luc mad with rage held his ground as long as he could. "Come on Lucifer give me a hand here." Luc says while summoning his dragon friend. Soon, a bandit warrior runs in to attack Kail. Luc uses taunt on bandit warrior 1. "YOU REPULSIVE, STEALING, GREEDY, FILTHY, CORRUPT, BLOODTHIRSTY, LOWLIFE, BANDITS! YOU SHALL ALL PERISH BEFORE US!!! BRING IT ON!!!" At Kail's behest, Petra steels herself and steps forward with her arms outstretched. She turns her face away as she casts her burst of energy at the bandit warrior. Kail told me to, I have to, we need it... Yet, she can't bear to watch as the racing miasma of yellow light sears her enemy.
As the energy leaves her, she postures herself defensively, quailing in fear. Her eyes dart about the battlefield as she takes in the scene. There are many more of them this time and she can't predict who to heal. Nervous, she looks from Kail, to Luc, to the newcomer, Vincent... She starts her heal, terrified she would pick the wrong target.
Special Ability: Heal Kail (or Luc, whoever takes more damage).
Dice: Defense.
Spell: Energy Burst on left Bandit Warrior.
Regeneration: +5
AP: 2
