She really was enjoying herself. Even Ryder... now that he was not saying anything about boyfriends... would be fun to hang around with. Especially now that she had decided that the way to go with him was to be less nice. Fine. Perfect even. Relm was being far too nice all around. She needed someone to mouth off too and even insult. All in good fun though, right?

So Koen did not realize he had said any of that aloud? Relm had miss-guessed that the comment about Kai being stubborn had been for their benefit. Guess not. Shrugging to herself, Relm watched the red panda set up his drums in anticipation of their last show.

Drums. Aside from what she could read and what the kitsusagi Harper, Talagand, had been able to explain to her Relm really did not know much. But watching drums was always like entertainment in itself. The way the sticks would bounce off the snare or a cymbal, the way the performer had no choice really but to get his or her body into the playing especially on a drum set where it was almost like playing multiple instruments at once. So her eyes shone as she watched the dance of the sticks, her artist's eye painting in colors the trails of paths they made through the air like a quick capture screen. Light brown curls swayed against her cheeks as her head found the beat and nodded in time.

Enjoyment however was as far as her critique could really go. As long as there were not any blaring mistakes, Relm simply did not have the expertise to notice it as more than a soft uncertainty at the back of her mind.

Curious, Relm glanced at Elijah to see how he liked it ... and found herself instantly having to quell the urge to paint him. How silly! She painted the dog anthro plenty of times! Surely she had painted him enough to get it out of her system!

Apparently not. Rather Quickly, Relm turned her attention back to Kai & his performance. The quickness of her action being the only hint of a crack in her carefree & easy display of herself.

She waited until Kai was finished and then beamed. "That was really fun! I don't see why you'd do more than play around with anything else."

Elijah had caught Relm's sudden movement out of the corner of his eye. He looked at her for a moment and frowned. Had she been looking at him? He felt his cheeks growing a bit warm, but not enough to actually make him blush. There was no way anything about himself was distracting enough to take Relm's attention away to a guy playing his heart out on the drums, right? He slowly turned his attention make to the drum preformace, however, he was a bit distracted now by other thoughts. Luckily, he already had a good idea about what to think about Kai.

"Really? You like it?" Kai said. He was practicualy beaming with happiness. He was easily pleased with compliments. Prehaps he really did have a big ego. "Well I like all sorts of music is all. Drums are my main focus of course!" He nodded his head and ignored the fox who shook his head. Koen knew very well Kai had been speaking about completely switching to something else just the other week.

Even a novice could see Kai did well with compliments, and Relm was far from a novice. Hopefully she could pull this off though without being too flirting.

Relm giggled. "Really." Green eyes did not miss Koen shaking his head and fairly sparkled with laughter contained beyond her bright smile. "Didn't I say it was fun?" Playfully she crinkled her nose at the drummer. "I'm no expert, but you should keep drums your focus. I et you could get even better!"

As if it was slowly dawning on her Relm's laughing face started to fall. "Oh! That's everyone isn't it?" Her face was only in part a mask of disappointment that the shows were over -she really had been enjoying the personal performances. Then her eyes lighted once again and in a swift move Relm turned on her friend. "You've not played, 'Lijah!" Her legs were now down almost normally in front of the couch and she was twisted at the waist with her hands still clasped looking like she was praying almost in an eager girl fashion. For a moment. Just before Relm put the arm closest to the seat's back down behind her keeping her balanced while reaching out with her now free hand to poke the dog-anthro teasingly in the stomach. "We've all performed. You're the odd man out, 'Lijah. I know it's not your guitar but..." With her best 'no one can deny me' face Relm looked between Elijah and Kai. Surely the red panda would loan the guitar... would her friend play it though?

"Only fair."

((We’ve been roleplaying together for almost a year now I think... I don’t remember the exact date, but it was around the summer we started, I know. heart ))

Kai's grin grew as big as it possibly could. "Well I.... yeah... Yeah! That's exactly what I'll do. Then I'll become a famous drummer and make millions! ...Or at least try to..." He flopped down onto a chair with the grin still on his face. Relm's compliments really did fuel him up with more confidence than usual.

Koen seemed to agree too as he shook his head. The fox agreed with Relm, but must Kai get so worked up about a few compliments? It was a bit childish to an extent for him to be so sure of himself. He rested his head on his fist, with his elbow propped on the arm of his chair. He looked to Elijah with an amused glint in his eye. "The lady has a point. You did claim to play if memory serves right. He drummed his fingers lightly on the arm of the chair, expectantly. "Kai will lend you an instrument, as long as you promise to pay for any damages if you break it on an off chance."

Elijah winced from being poked since he was slightly ticklish and managed to hold himself back from letting out a small laugh. "You want me to play?" Of course, he would prefer to play for them all with his own guitar, but he couldn't say no. Just by looking at Relm he knew he couldn't say no to this. It would make Relm happy too and... He liked playing the guitar anyway. Listening to music all night was making him crave it a bit after all. "Alright. Get me a guitar and I'll play." He smiled as he tried to pick out a good song in his head. 'Maybe some classic rock would be good right about now...'

The red panda got up from his chair. "Alright, alright. Only 'cause I'm curious on how well YOU play. After all this critiquing I'm sure you got some talent..." He walked out of the room to get his guitar.

Ryder walked in with his hands shoved into his pockets. He tilted his head to the side. "The dog's going to play? Guess you all aren't done yet..." A sigh escaped a cat and he stole Kai's seat. He propped his feet up on the coffee table and crossed his arms. "I'm going to listen too."

Espers! Could he BE any more easy to manipulate? How boring. Despite her thoughts Relm continued to smile. After all... it was kind of amusing.

Lady. Espers but did being called that feel good. She could not help but turn and flash Koen a smile of thanks for both the compliment and the back up. At the same time she was wondering why Elijah had winced. Was he... ticklish? ooooo! That sent so many thoughts through her mind at once that she had to clamp down on them but quick. NONE of those were good to think about. Tickling would put her far to close to him... and Relm was not sure...

Best not to think about it. Or make any temptation.

It did not help any when she saw -or imagined she saw- how Elijah reacted to the look she gave him. Relm could have just melted. Something she simply could not permit herself to do. They were friends darn it!

And he did not even know what she was capable of! No. Best just to be a normal girl. Leave it at that. So she left it at a smile that she was getting her way and turned back while pulling her legs up to hug them again.

"Oh hush, Ivories." Yes the kid with a mouth was back to giving nicknames. Complete with sticking her tongue out at the cat. "Or I'll be tempted to give you a taste of where my talent really lies." She meant her painting of course, but it was fun to say it in such a double-entondre (sp). Besides... Elijah already knew about how she painted, so it was really just for the benefit of seeing the others' reactions. Kai's she could practically guess so kept her stern 'threatening' eyes on Ryder. She was not quite going to give him full barrels yet. Hopefully she would still have other chances to match wits & banter with him later. "You gonna tell me you're not the least bit curious?" Pressed lips shifted to the side, as if upset at herself and what was most likely to be going through any straight young male's head. "Curious about his playing ability, not my talent. Pervs."

Sometimes... this game was really fun.

Elijah was an easy going guy at times. He didn't mind doing something he liked for someone he liked. What was there to reject? He pondered over what song to play. "I love Rock and Roll" seemed like it would be fun right now, but the guitar part seemed a bit repetitive so that wouldn't be very impressive. Perhaps "Smoke on the Water" would be fitting? Close, but not quite it... He grinned for a moment to himself as he thought of something. He knew what he should play.

He grinned against at Relm's comment towards Ryder. Yes, he knew very well what she was talking about, and was enjoying the fact it was probably confusing the heck out of Ryder. The magic behind the paint was their Relm and his little secret and no one else’s'.

"Talent really lies...?" Ryder repeated. His ears folded down and he frowned. "You lost my, I'm afraid...." He grumbled. His tail curled up around one of his right legs. "You hiding something I should know about, girl?" His eyes narrowed suspiciously.

Elijah laughed quietly to himself. "Wouldn't you like to know... course you probably wouldn't be able to except it..."He said and leaned back into the chair for a moment before Kai came in and handed him a guitar which was already to go. The anthro dog ran his fingers along the strings one gently and smiled as he heard the sound.

Kai plugged the guitar into an amp and adjusted the volume a little before sitting down on a new chair. He blushed a bit as he caught part of what Relm said. He didn't here the later part of the comment, but figured it was directed at him too, perhaps out of paranoia, since he had just walked in. "Course were interested in this guy's talent. You both have been making us play all night. We never said we were giving away free concerts." The panda grinned.

Ryder had caught the last part of the comment. He leaned back, covered his face with one of his hands, and started laughing. "Oh please...."

Koen sighed and reached his hand over to force Ryder to sit up. "Please, start playing. We'll all be happy to shut up, won't we?" He gave Ryder a look of warning before turning his attention away.

As asked, Elijah began to play. It was strange playing on another's guitar, he didn't do that often, but he had to give credit to Kai, it was a nice guitar. The sound came out nicely with each note. He was playing a song by Mountain, "Mississippi Queen." It was an older song, like many of the songs he liked to play for fun, but he didn't make it sound fun. Elijah always had fun playing songs like this. He brought back life to the song where life had always been. It had been a favorite song of a lot of people. The anthro dog got into his playing. He could forget why he where he was just by getting lost in his music.

Green eyes twinkled impishly, fairly sparkling with laughter. It only grew at Ryder's frown, seeming to take delight in his grumbling suspicion. Elijah's comments followed by Kai hopping in cinched it. Relm laughed. "All depend on what you should know." Impishness was turning devilish and yet still fun. She did not miss how Kai was probably intending his comment and her mirth continued. "I already gave my due." She reminded, not really ignoring Ryder as much as finding glee in his reactions.

Maybe she would be happy to shut up. Okay... quite likely. For at Koen's suggestion Relm shut up and stopped laughing. Her eyes though still happy were more expectant than mirthfully teasing. It was like a switch, and all her attention focused on the dog anthro, watching how his fingers touched the instruments strings. She knew this song: it was on Trel's vast collection. As an appreciator of music, Relm let herself get lost in enjoying her friend's playing. Well... as lost as she could and still keep watch how their three new friends were reacting. Something that was harder to do than it should be. Still she had pride and would do it. After all, their reactions also said a lot about their potential.

It was hard though. With Elijah's playing strumming within her.

Ryder's ears were now folded down in annoyance. He had lost this round of game of wits and he was not used to such a loss. He was half distracted trying to figure what what he was missing exactly. He did listen enough. Elijah wasn't as bad as he had hoped, but he still critiqued in his head as harshly as possible, which was harder than he had hoped as well. He mumbled something as he folded his hands and continued to watch. He glanced at Relm for a few moments during the song before looking back. What she had said was still bugging him and the dog putting on a decent show wasn't helping. Even he had to admit, the dog wasn't half bad.

Koen thoughts were a bit more positive. He looked to be enjoying himself. He had an appreciation to for rock songs like this. He sat up in his seat and watched Elijah's hands on the string. He was impressed. He was getting more out of this show than he expected.

Kai watched on, a bit in envy since the dog could play better than he could on the guitar on his own instrument. Relm and the others really were right. He really should just stick to the drums and stay there. Despite that, he seemed to be enjoying himself as much as Koen. Elijah did put on a good show.

Elijah came to the end of the song, not putting any less effort into the finale than he did for the rest of the piece. This song was a favorite of his after all. He felt disappointed as the song ended. It was one of those things he felt like he could go on forever doing. Reluctantly, he put the guitar down and came back to Earth as he looked at his small audience, expecting some feed back. "This is a nice guitar. It really does play well..." He said to Kai as he gently placed it somewhere safe.

"Well, well, you two have put on a good trade for our playing. Both performances were entertaining," Koen commented with a smile. He stood up to stretch a bit and looked over at Kai. "What did you think, Kai?"

Kai grinned."Yup. I definitely wasn't cheated out of anything. Got to love that song..." He reached over to pick up his guitar after getting up. "Yup! She sure does play well. Especially in someone's hands like yours I'll admit. I don't know what I'm going to do with this thing. Interested in buying it off me?" Kai asked hopefully.

"I hate to admit it, but it was a decent show..." Ryder mumbled. He stayed in his seat and glanced over at the guitar as he thought about how the dog played. "Not bad, dog, not bad..."

Sighing softly more in body than sound Relm laid her cheek upon her knees at the song's end. Green eyes gently scanned the boys, one after another & lingering on each as they spoke. Her eyes crinkled with amusement at the cat's begrudging praise. A snappy comeback was on the tip of her tongue but she was too happy to actually say it.

Besides.... she was half wondering if maybe she had gone a bit too far. Considering she was trying to be 'good' and all, in case the boys would be part of Elijah's band. Poor boy... she was not even on her game yet.

"You know my 'pinion of your playing, 'Lijah." She rocked back, then forward onto her feet and stretching; raising to her toes and reaching her petite 5' frame as far as it could go. With a happy sound she settled, carbunkle tail swaying behind her. "Well you held up your end, boys. Been a blast. Maybe we can face off again sometime, Ivories." A wink, Relm referring to what she considered their playful banter. Except her 'sisters' there really was not anyone to match wits with at home -that wouldn't take it the wrong way at least. No REAL contest or competition. "But we'd better hightail it before we over stay our welcome. Thanks, boys. Been a treat."

Though she teased about it... Relm was actually on some level disappointed that no one had asked what her talent was. Now usually she might brag (okay, would rather more than might) but not tonight. Didn't fit for one thing and she really did not feel like doing it that way tonight for another. Still she was itching to show off, and hoped someone would ask. There was a perfect opportunity for them to do so. She saw it, and intentionally left it open: there were three of them that had played, and only Elijah and herself.

They did not need to know that she was for all intents and purposes completely innocent beyond her thoughts and understanding. That was what was so fun about leaving her 'talent' unknown -they could stew over it for a while and think what they would. Relm did not care. Rather she found amusement in it. They -not even Elijah- could know she had never even kissed a boy before. That tonight had been the closest thing to a date she had ever experienced for herself. That except for dragging someone along after her -or on the not so rare case of being held back- Relm had never even held anyone else's hand in her own.

She smoothed her hands over her thighs and stepped towards the door with a grin. Relm hoped one of them would say something. Wasn't good to do all the pushing herself. Had to let them think they played a part.

Espers, but the dog was putting a monkey wrench in her thoughts & nearly her actions! Why should she just want to step over and hug him? Relm quieted the impulse quickly.

Elijah yawned. He covered his mouth with one hand while he stretched out his free arm before getting up to follow the other. "Thanks," He said in response to the comments he got. He nodded at Relm. Yup, he knew quite well. They wouldn't be here right now most likely if she hadn't heard him play at least once. It would be unusual. He stood by the door by Relm. "Yeah. It was fun. We should definitely hang out and play again sometime. Maybe at my place or something..." He said with another nod of his head. Tonight had been fun and Relm seemed to have enjoyed it too, so he was satisfied. His eyes glanced over at the cat again, wondering if things still bothered him about what Relm said before. It was funny how the cat obviously showed how bothered he was.

Before Kai and Koen had a chance to pipe in a goodbye, Ryder jumped in. "Wait... before you go..." He sat up in his seat with his arms rested on his legs. "I give up... this talent. Do you care to tell me whatever it is or are you bluffing about this special thing you can do?" He frowned. "Curiosity is really killing the cat this time, as much as I hate to admit it..."

Koen chuckled, despite his efforts to stop himself by covering his mouth. "I was wondering if you were going to ask that or let your pride eat at you, Ryder..." He said. He looked to Relm and ignored Ryder's hiss in response. "I'm a bit curious too if you wish to share."

Kai listened in as well. He was trying to not look so interested by trying to make himself seem wrapped up in putting his guitar away, but he shot a glance back at Relm. He almost forgot he had to admit about what Relm said before. Now that he remembered he was itching to know himself. Was it some secret or something?

...dammit. Why did he have to look cute when he yawned? Stupid teenage hormones. Couldn't let them ruin her only real friendship. Not when he treated her like a normal girl. Maybe that was it: he made her feel like a normal girl so she was acting like a normal girl. Complete with very normal girl type crush. Yes. That was all it was. Nothing to get worked up over...

Bluff? The carbunkle female stiffened sharply at the word. She never bluffed. Certainly not about her ART. Before she could spin angrily upon the cat anthro and actually paint him in her rising fury, Ryder managed to say probably one of the few things he could at that moment to belay her anger. The exact thing she had been wanting to say earlier... made more amusing because the cat was saying it about himself. She started to smile as she turned, not realizing that she had already pulled her brush already from her pocket when she was still angry. It was so natural for it to be in her hand though it did not register as being 'off' in any way. Koen's chuckle and fairly teasing remarks towards his friend nearly blew away what remained of her insulted feeling. Nearly. Relm was still a little sharp with her movements, but for all anyone knew that could be an act. She wasn't telling.

Green eyes smiled at Elijah with a bit of a twinkle before turning not quite as bright on the others. "I bet you hate to admit it." She could hardly help rubbing it in a little bit. It was not as biting or as mean as it could have been however, showing some of the pride in the hint of a smile Relm almost showed. "All right then."

Tucking her brush behind a her right ear Relm cleared off a space on the table (for sake of time I'm so assuming they have a coffee table or something), keeping near a cup with water in it -probably from melted ice from one of the drinks. Out of the pile of papers that had been hastily moved aside she pulled out a 16 by 10 sheet that could be used folded and -checking that it was blank- spread it out blank side up upon the cleared table. She pulled out a simple white wax pencil from a case in her pocket and scribbled something in the corner that could not be seen. Not yet.

Putting the pencil away its case was replaced in her hand by a something wrapped in a small cloth -a simple metal case, small and pocket-sized. Popping it open it looked like nothing more than a good quality child's watercolor set. It was used, but perfectly clean. None of the colors bled into each other. Glancing up at each of the boys quickly in turn she paused a bit longer to wink at Elijah before her smile settled into something more dreamy, more focused, as the artist reverently reached for her brush and masterfully dipped it into the water and set to work.

It was simple really, how she used the properties of the watercolors to bring the scene to life. Soft distant mountains half shrouded in mist barely showed on some far-off island to the left of the paper beside the rays of a setting sun dominating the center over the gently rolling waves of a blue green open sea. The reflection of the sun on the waves made them seem alive, and there were a few shadows just below the surface that hinted at creatures swimming beneath. Soft wisps of white cloud tinted by the setting sun's own light were like alluring garments on a sensual lady -just barely hiding, just barely hinting, somehow making her more arousing than were she actually naked. It was like the sun itself were teasing, just ready to step behind a screen where one knew everything would be reveled even if that one would not be able to see it. The colors blended where they should and remained clear when they should. Without a wasted brushstroke Relm moved from the top of the page to the bottom and it was as if the scene poured from her brush like magic. It could have, but pride had the pictomancer creating this work with just the medium at hand. As she reached the bottom and the right corner became wet her earlier scribbles there became clear as the water rolled away from the wax and would not allow the paint to adhere. A small sketch of a carbunkle curled onto itself beside her name and the date.

Dipping off her brush she sat back on her heels and washed and dried it on a clean handkerchief from her pocket. She had a satisfied look on her face, looking at the finished piece & nodding lightly. "You'll want to let it dry or you'll have a mess."

It was not covered to the edges and the paper was not even so wet it would go through the paper much less wet the table beneath. The small cloth that had wrapped the watercolor set was blotchy and the cup of water muddy but there was otherwise no other mess -except where Relm had spotted her own cheek in a moment of thoughtfulness with blue.

Like the other three, Ryder stood around the table at a distance to allow Relm to have plenty of room to work, and yet be close enough to watch her. When Relm pulled her brush out like that at first, Ryder thought she was going to threaten him with it or something.... which was ridiculous of course. This was a bit more fun to watch anyway, despite him hating to admit it. His tail swished curiously as he stared at the finished artwork. "So this is your really talent...." He said softly. "Hm... not bad. Your talent lies more in art than music. Heh and here I thought...." He stopped himself and mumbled something. "Anyway... guess you weren't bluffing. Should have figured..."

Kai's eyes were wide with amazement. He had just seen a painting come to life just like that. He wasn't even aware of how long it had been. "Whoa... this is good. You're giving it to us too?" He assumed by what she said that's what she met. It was probably the nicest thing they had in the house that could be hung on the walls.

Koen smiled down at the painting. This was techniquly his home so he guessed he was responsible for it. "I'll make sure it dries properly. Thank you for showing us this. You're quite good. None of us here had the kind of talent you do."

Elijah stared down at the picture admiringly. "You've done it again, Relm." He said and smiled down at the picture. The paintings just seemed better and better every time he saw them. There really must have been some magic in her work, not that he had any doubt about that before. The spot of blue caught Elijah's green eyes. "Hey you got some paint on you..." Without really thinking much about it, he tried to whip it off gently with his thumb, careful to try to not to smudge the paint across her cheek. Luckily, he was successful. "There. No more paint now. Perfect."

Actually... the cat was not far from the truth. But that truth not even Elijah knew -and Relm did not want him to know it yet. Maybe someday. She did not want to deceive him. Not really. The artist mage just wanted to relish this feeling of being a normal girl.

Something she really was not even without her magic. What normal teenage girl regularly made and sold paintings as she did for such fees?

Mint green ears flicked at Ryder and her smile held a smirk. "Of course. But what did you think, I wonder. I didn't catch that." Teasing again, smiling with pride a bit more for each compliment. Sure, Relm knew she was good... but compliments & appreciation always felt good. Especially to a teenage girl -who despite all her confidence could at times be as insecure as anyone.

A light shrug. "Sure." And why not? Relm had more than enough paintings at home. The almost sheepish glance of her eye indicated that it was harder for her not to paint, then to paint and give things away. She could brag... but it was really hard to honestly say whether any of their music talents matched up with her painting skills. So Relm went the modest route. "I've been painting since I could hold a brush. Before I could crawl. You guys have your music." Another light shrug, accompanied by a soft flush of pleasure from the compliments.

No magic this time, she would have told Elijah if she knew his thoughts and he knew of her magical gift. But neither was the case and so Relm merely smiled and started to turn to him at the sound of his voice. Her eyes had just caught Elijah's when his hand moved towards her. It was as if the entire short movement was happening in slow motion and for those seconds Relm forgot about the others there with them. Her mouth opened the barest fraction in surprise, her green eyes wide and yet lidding at the same time to his touch. Relm forgot if she was breathing or not at the gentle touch, not being able to remember ever feeling anything like it. Surely her mother had once touched her with such gentleness, but Relm had been little more than a baby when she had passed away.

'Perfect.' The pictomancer found herself breathing again not knowing when she had last but that this was said. The world felt to fall back around her. "Thanks..." She said softly, a light blush pinkening her cheeks just before she looked away. Espers! This was not good! Not good at all! And yet... she felt so wonderfully warm inside...

She coughed slightly into her hand then slipped her painting things back where they had come from and rose once more. "Maybe we could do this again sometime." The artist said with a smile. She felt a little light headed and befuddled not quite able to come up with a way to give them Eliajah's card. Maybe he could think of something.

Ryder crossed his arms and fell back into a seat once more. Now it was his turn to maybe make her curious. "Wouldn't you like to know...? Maybe I'll tell you sometime..." He smirked and tilted his head to the side slightly. "Maybe..." It felt nice to get her back for making him so curious. He wasn't exactly sure if he wanted to tell her anyway. Whatever he expected to happened hadn't happened and the two were leaving now. Well, it did sound like they wanted to see them again, so he wasn't completely sure. Ryder wouldn't lose whatever this was just yet.

Elijah watched his friend's reaction for a moment. It was different than he expected yet now that he thought about it, Relm had been perfectly capable of taking the paint off her own cheek. Perhaps he had sort of babied her by doing that? Why did he do that anyway? "No problem..." He looked away, almost feeling like he could be blushing too as he thought over what just happened for a moment. Her cheek had been so soft and smooth... Wait, now why did he care about that? She was his friend nothing more. Yet, maybe her blushing wasn't out of embarrassment, but something else?

He glanced back at Relm out of the corner of his eye. 'Could she possibly feel that way about me...?' Elijah mentally slapped himself. No, no. Now was not the time to be thinking like that. There was no way it was true anyway... So why was his heart pounding in his chest a little?

Elijah looked over to Koen. It was time to make sure they could keep in contact for business reasons. "So anyway... you got some more paper I could use? So we can keep in contact and all, I can give you my phone number and we can all play together sometime soon. Like a real band or something..." The anthro dog smiled hopefully.

"Yes, of course. Sounds like a good idea. We have enough varying instruments for that..." He grabbed some crumpled up music paper off the floor that Ryder had been too frustrated with to keep previously. He really needed to make Kai and Ryder clean up after themselves better. He found a pen on a table and quickly scribbled down a number.

Elijah took it after he was down and looked to Relm. "Hey Relm, do you have one of those cards with you?" He asked her before Koen had a chance to hand the dog some paper for him to use as well.

Kai sat down again like Ryder and tilted his head. "You have a card? What? You two in a business together too?" He teased and snickered a little.

Espers take the damn cat, but now she was curious again. Or would be once more -probably later that night when she was alone- once the tingling in her cheek faded. It was like she could still feel Elijah's touch there... it was so silly! But it had been so warm... so gentle...

Relm made something of a face at Ryder that she would eventually find out, and then much to her dismay found she was having a time of it pulling out of he befuddled state. She could hear Elijah talking and smiled at the agreement to exchange numbers, but it was like she was in an odd cloud. It made it hard to think. Relm did not like that and yet... on some level she felt light & warm & happy. She could not explain it or make her way through it. Truthfully, it more than a little scared her.

The red panda's question finally managed to cut a path through the misty-warm feeling around her almost making Relm jump. Green eyes looked between Kai & Elijah. She could feel something in her chest thumping as she met the dog's green eyes. "Too?" She answered Kai with a laugh, nodding for Elijah as she reached into the breast pocket of her red denim jacket and fingered out a couple of the cards with their swirls of painted music with the guitar beckoning on front. "Too as in also? I don't know what you're 'also'ing it with, but these were just for fun." Relm flipped her hand to pass Elijah the cards (three, maybe four if they were sticking) and grinned, winking playfully. "Paint or music... all artists need inspiration."
