The Shuppet wheeled in circles around Tara again, finishing its appraisal of the dark human. Then it turned, looking around the room. Was there anyone else fascinating to discover?
---
The Zubat chirped softly, considering this human once more. She may have been a bit clueless...but she was trying. That had to earn her SOME points, right? Energy returning, it flapped its wings to right itself, fluttering upward before settling on her shoulder. Eh...it'd give her a little more time. Until someone more interesting came along at least. Yeah...that.
---
The Stunky wavered, crouching defensively as chaos reigned once more. It wasn't exactly fond of the possibility of getting barbequed by that Typhlosion...not like that human across the room. It would be a while before it could spray again too, so it'd have to rely on other methods to stay safe. This human seemed kind enough...but could he protect the skunk Pokemon from a rampaging Fire Pokemon? Probably not. Ready to run if need be, the Pokemon seemed tense and alert.
---
The Rattata seemed reasonably calm on the other hand. Correction: not calm, but un-alarmed by the recent events. It was more concerned about the plentiful source of sugary goodness, also known as Fenrir. The candy quickly disappeared, but the Pokemon also seemed to listen to Fenrir's advice, head cocked to the side.
---
Fortunately for the Gastly, and perhaps everyone else, the Pokemon had disappeared shortly after its last stunt...and Quil's response. Intangible once more, the ghost watched the chaos that ensued from the ceiling, grinning to itself. So much action...and all because it had played with the lights and done a little laughing. Was there anything greater than this?

Kira sighed, feeling useless; this pokemon clearly hated being with her and wanted to get away, and she couldn't even help it. So, when the Zubat settled on her shoulder, she was completely taken by surprise. Looking at the small pokemon on her shoulder, her face brightened into a smile. "You seem to be feeling better." Carefully, she stroked a fingertip from the back of its head down half the length of its back, then gently scritched at the base of it's ears.
"I'm sorry I got you stuck in those flowers..." She apologized sheepishly.

Fenrir watched as things started to settled down. That other girl Anya had been talking to seemed alright...just a little roasty. But not terribly incapacitated or rolling on the floor in agony, which was a plus.
He sucked in a breath as Anya approached Quil, though. Fenrir was the master of stupid impulsive things. He tended to perform and say generally dumb things on a regular basis. But even he wouldn't get that close to a Pokemon is such a high state of tension. He knew the girl had that Charizard that followed her around, but considering it hadn't done much thus far...
He wondered if this was what it was like for other people to watch the ridiculous things he did on a daily basis... naw. He didn't do things that crazy. He didn't think so, anyways. He liked to think he had common sense, even in in reality he only had very little.
Fortunately, all the Typhlosion did was respond with a warning growl and flare, trying to drive the girl away without confrontation. It probably just wanted to be left alone anyhow. The girl backed off as that other woman- Sam, had she called herself?- herded her back to safety. Ah, that was all good then.
As Hayden made his initial announcement upon returning, Fenrir lifted a hand. "I'm fond of the fact you're here!" he called after the man was done speaking. Why would anyone NOT be fond of his presence? He was such a nice man...
Hayden seemed to have things under control now, tending to Sam's back and such. Quil had even retreated back to his corner for some relaxation, and across the room, Kira seemed to have made friends with a Zubat. Good, good. The initial scare and chaos aside, this still ranked as one of the best parties ever, Fenrir decided. Heck, the threat of Typholsion attacks and blackout and rogue Pokemon only made things more interesting! This was certainly among his top fave parties, and a most epic win. He had a feeling he was going to like it here. He grinned broadly, turning back to the Pokemon.
The Stunky seemed uneasy again. Maybe the candy made it ill? Maybe it was feeling the sugar and was getting antsy? Or maybe it was put on edge from the ordeal. Any of the options seemed to fit.
But the Rattata...that one seemed okay with everything, just sitting around and chilling out. Fenrir liked that kind of attitude.
"See? Look. The big guy's headin' over to go cool down. I bet he just wants some time to himself." Fenrir nodded to himself. "I know it's hard to not jump up an' run around an' stuff, but I think you two are doing very nicely. I think this party's had enough craziness anyways!" he laughed.
He looked back to the Stunky. "Easy there, I know you're nervous but it's gonna be okay." he said, trying to reassure the Pokemon. Right now, he wasn't aware it would be awhile before it could spray again, so keeping this fella relaxed was certainly a priority for the boy.
He pulled out a cookie from the coverall pockets this time and chewed at it, moving from his crouch to sit more comfortably on his bottom, legs crossed. He offered half the cookie to the Rattata while he was at it. There was still some candy set out for the Stunky if it wanted it, so he didn't feel too bad about offering food to the little mouse first.
He smirked. "I'm spoiling you, ya know."

The Zubat let out a soft chittering sound, leaning into the scratching. That felt really nice... It's wings rustled quietly as it readjusted them to be more comfortable.
---
The Stunky seemed to listen, even if it was still fairly anxious. Settling down, the Pokemon wrapped its tail around itself, eyes still darting around for the least sign of danger to itself.
---
Squeaking, the Rattata practically pounced on the cookie piece, tail swishing happily behind it as crumbs flew through the air. FOOD! Yeah, it knew it was being spoiled...but what was wrong with that? Being spoiled was kinda' nice.

Kira giggled happily as the Zubat leaned into her scratching, and made sure to keep it up. She was thankful that she had such long nails, since it probably felt even better than if they had been nubs of nail.
Looking over and seeing the feasting party with Fenrir, and seeing that the pissed off fire pokemon was no longer endangering everyone, she very slowly stood up. "Hey, Zubat, lets go meet up with my friend, Fenrir. He's really nice, and it looks like he's made friends with a couple of other pokemon too."
Moving carefully for two reasons, the first being she didn't want to disturb the pokemon on her shoulder, the second being she had no shoes on, she picked up an over turned bowel and knelt slowly. Stopping the scratching momentarily, she used both hands to scoop up some of the wrapped candies into the bowel, then stood up and made her way to Fenrir and the two pokemon, continuing with giving the zubat some ear scratches.
"Hey, can we join this little pow wow? I brought a bowel of salvaged candies." She smiled to the Skunky to show she was totally harmless. So this was the thing that had scared her shitless earlier.

Fenrir remained seated, relieved the Stunky had settled once more. He certainly seemed a bit more on edge than the Rattata. But he supposed Pokemon were like people in that sense- each one had a different nature. Some were stoic, some were more easily flustered...but he supposed that it was their diversity that made them so interesting.
The Rattata seemed greatly pleased with the cookie and Fenrir laughed. "They are good, huh?" he remarked, finishing his half of the pumpkin-shaped cookie.
He spun around as Kira came up and waved at her from his vantage point on the ground. "Hey, so good of your to join our group!" he called out.
He turned back to the Pokemon momentarily. "This girl here is Kira. She's a good type. She won't hurt you either, so you don't have to worry. She's nice like me." he smiled. "She even brought more candy!"
He hoped the two Pokemon wouldn't be bothered by her...she was a pretty nice girl, fun too...what was there to be scared of?
"Come sit down with us! Everyone knows the floor is where it's at." he grinned playfully. "Hee-eey! Looks like you made a friend too!" he said, pointing at her Zubat. Heh, it seemed everyone was making friends tonight...

Kira grinned and sat down next to Fenrir, placing the bowel into the middle of the group. "Just a warning, the candy's been on the floor. I couldn't find a bowel that hadn't been knocked over. I only took the stuff that was wrapped, so it should be ok...."
She reached up to give the Zubat another gentle pet with her finger tips. "Do you want some of the candy?"

The skunk Pokemon glanced up at the newcomers, remaining calm as it noted no hostile intentions from either. 'Looks like you found one too, eh?' it commented to the bat.
---
The zubat sent out a series of clicks to 'see' these others. Ah...them. And a human. 'Yeah...though I still have my doubts about her. She might not be all here...but she seems nice enough. She tries at least. Gotta' give her points for that, right?' Turning its attention to the bowl of candy at the question, there was a moment that it seemed to ponder the offer.
Before diving straight into the bowl.
---
Disregarding all this talking business, the Rattata had other things in mind. These plans were made obvious as it soon followed the Zubat by launching itself head-first into the candy bowl.

Kira let out a startled noise. "Guys!" She sighed and leaned forward, pulling the Zubat and Ratata from the bowel. "You can't eat the wrappers, you'll get sick!" She smoothly and quickly began unwrapping the candies, piling the discarded plastic wrappers to the side. She figured she'd dispose of them later. "Here, eat the unwrapped ones."
She looked over at Fenrir. "You wanna help with the stripping of the candies?"

Fenrir laughed at the Rattata's enthusiasm. And the Zubat's too, apparently! He smiled at the Stunky, which seemed to be staying out of the chaos of candy pilfering.
He nodded, still chuckling. "Easy down, guys. You're gonna make yerselves sick if you eat that much that fast!" he remarked, helping Kira unwrap the candies. After all, if the Pokemon were going to gorge themselves, they may as well not be gorging themselves on all manner of plastic and paper too...that would certainly make them sick!
"Enjoying the party?" Fenrir asked the girl as he worked to unwrap a small candy bar. "Man, some crazy stuff's gone down, huh? But that just makes things better, am I right?"

Kira grined and looked over to Fenrir. "Aside from nearly getting fried to death and being dive bombed, it's been awsome!"
She scooped up the unwrapped candies and put them back into the bowel. "There you go guys!" She smiled and put the bowel back in front of the ratata and zubat, giving the zubat an affectionate scratch behind the ears before turning back to Fenrir.
"So, my costume is completely ruined." She gestured to the stained and ripped wedding gown she was in. "I really hope they didn't want this back...."

Humans were strange creatures, but fun to watch at any rate.
Not that he was watching.
The little pikachu had almost panicked when that guard had wandered into the kitchen, darting into a cupboard full of potato snacks and squeezing behind them, before realizing it was a guard he recognized, the one who couldn't intimidate a baby rattata if he tried.
From inside the cupboard, he saw that guard retrieve a can of tomato juice and for a fleeting moment was tempted to send a bolt of lightning at the can, exploding it and having a laugh at the guard's expense. Of course, the metal would simply conduct the electricity into the guard's hand and give him a nasty shock, leaving the can undamaged. Come to think of it, that thought was also kind of funny, the way those big, cumbersome humans reacted to something which surprised them.
Still, the inquisitive pikachu couldn't help but wonder if he should reveal himself to the guard. He'd always gotten along well with humans, even better than other pokemon sometimes. And while he'd been warned about the dangers of mingling with guards, this one seemed different somehow. More trustworthy than the doctors, or the other guards, heck, even more trustworthy than that devious janitor.
He was still musing when a flash, a cacophany of noise and the faintest burst of heat filtered its way into the cupboard. The guard hurried off and left him alone in the kitchen again. The pikachu shrugged to nobody in particular (a trait he'd observed humans posessing) and resumed gorging himself on the potato snacks once again left unattended in the kitchen.

The Zubat and Rattata continued to gorge themselves on candy while the humans talked. After a moment, the mouse Pokemon paused, pulling a half-eaten candy from its mouth, eying with a disgusted look, then tossing it over its shoulder. Apparently, it didn't like the taste of that one.
The candy sailed through the air...plopping stickily onto the Stunky's forehead, who looked upwards at it, cross-eyed.

anya giggles as she walked by the stunky who now had some candy stuck to its furry head. "ooh poor little guy." she crouched down to the Stunkys level so that she would not seem like such a huge scarry person.
putting out her hand so the pokemon could smell it she said. "do you want me to take it out of your hair I will try to be careful."

Arianna shook her head and slid down the wall, "Next time a party is announced? I'm staying in bed...." She muttered, "Or..." She then grinned a bit, remembering she did have her skills. At the moment? Not wanting to use them. She then stood up and walked closer to the pokemon eating candy, keeping her distance, "All this caused by the cute ones? Figures" She smiled softly with a chuckle.
