you never answered my question... fk3241 i ran into this one today... what happens if you give a sunburst creature affinity and make it free?  i assume it would come in as a 0/0 and die but you never know...

ok, since you don't pay different mana colors for it, it doesn't get the sunburst effect. so if it costs0. you play it for 0. and you payed 0 different colors of mana. so sunburst activates on the number 0.
so your arcbound wanderer gets his sunburst effect of 0. giving him 0 +1/+1 counters. killing him.

I got the one about the clean-up step wrong-looking over the comp. rules after I was done, I saw that players do get priority during the clean-up step if any abilities trigger then-but I guess it's a rare enough situation to no matter.

Yes if you play it for free it dies since you used no mana. NOTE: It is NOT like the Emblazoned Golem + Mycosynth Golem because there is no X in the cost

to clear things up for me what are the speeds of spells and abilities for greatest to least including such things as mana abilities, tap activation, land speed, sac. because i know that mana abilities go first then instans and last sorceries but where do all the other abilities fall into place or what catagory are they in. Thank You.

Thank You. fastest is Mana. slowest is Sorcery. everything else, (instants, enchantment abilities, creature abilities) i think hapen as fast sa they are stacked. not sure though.

First things. Wellwish, I asked in the first post for people not to do what you just did. Let me or Tohma answer the questions, if you do it's called threadjacking neutral
Rhade: Everything but instants (and cards that say they may be played whenever you could play an instant) are at "sorcery" speed. Meaning you can only play them on your turn when the stack is empty. The only difference between lands and the other four (enchantment, creature, artifact, sorcery) are that lands don't use the stack but still can only be played during your turn.

However, you can tap for mana during the resolutoin of a spell or ability. And apping for mana can't be countered, so I guess that's the fastest...
*note* Tapping to untap land, like Stone-Seeder Hierophant, isn't the same thing. That can be responded to, and it can be countered by tings like Stifle.
