Her face fell a bit before she turned away from him, lowering her head again. She did not move, wanting nothing more than to remain exactly where she was, she did not care if David stayed or went.

He hugged her a bit more tightly, as if tosay that he would be there if she needed him.

"David?" she said softly, not moving, still resting her hand on his arm. She considered what was on her mind but she could not think of a good way to say what was on her mind and did not want to talk about herself. "Mm, never mind." she said softly, releasing her grip on his arm.

"As you wish." He continued to hug her, and would only let go when she either asked him to, or shrugged him off.

As they remained there, she still felt confused about what was on her mind, speculating what might be on his mind. She inhaled deeply and quietly asked; "Why?" This would be enough to get an answer of some sort .. from this, she knew more questions would follow.

"I am no one .. why worry about me? There is so much else you could spend your time with .." she said softly with something of a sigh of relief to say what was on her mind.

She stood, looking more sad than before, nodding her head. "I shall not trouble you further." she said simply, bowing her head, pressing two fingers to her lips before she took a step, then bounced, and seemed to disappear. Running down the hallway, if David were looking, he would be able to see her form again for a moment, leaning against the wall before seeming to fall straight through.

David sighed and shook his head. He went back to the training room and increased the gravity to 20 before entering.

Standing in the room silently for a few minutes, she relaxed significantly now that she was alone. Moving away from the wall, she walked to a corner, where a cabinet appeared. Opening one of the doors, she took out a canvas and stared at it .. for one who did not know what this was, it would seem odd. Without using any paint, a highly detailed image appeared on the cloth. Kneeling, she set the painting on the ground, tilting it against the wall with care. She smiled brightly seeing the image, simply remaining there silently, smiling for several moments. The image was of herself and Reeve, the happiest memory she had with him - the first night they spent together under the stars. Between her memories and that image, she felt peaceful, almost as if he were with her again. She remained here thinking of such happy things for quite a while before setting it back in the cabinet for protection and setting off to train, practicing all things that she had learned from Brom and Ali mostly, she would not emerge for hours.

David trained constantly, pushing his limits and testing his abilities almost to the breaking point.

Finally leaving the room, she looked weary yet proud. Wandering through the halls, she returned to her room, deciding to continue on her streak of not using magic and taking a shower and dressing directly from her wardrobe instead of using magic to do so in a moment. After she finished, she returned to the kitchen again, moving to the table she sat there silently before tea and a hot bowl of chili appeared on the table, accompanied by a boom to read.

David continued to train, testing all of his abilities under the strain of the increased gravity.

Finishing with her food and drink, she continued reading, moving to the main room where she seated herself in a comfortable chair, reading until she fell asleep.
