"Why is that?" she asked to his reply. Aneres followed him in. "It's fine with me....you probably won't hear us anyway." The vampire started to humm to herself.

The neko walked around some more, taking in his new surroundings before heading back to the window sill and sitting there. Ari was somehow attracted to the light. He rarely got to see it, so it was something he enjoyed. Sitting there alone, he looked around. Unlike in the slavery place he was kept in, he did not have many people to meow at. If he had meowed at Chase, he was sure that the boy would hurt him. He stretched and laid down on his back, a soft purr coming from him. As he shut his own eyes for sleep, the sounds of typing outside the door pulled him from his dreamland. Ari shook his head, trying to scratch the sound from his ears, but it was still there! Angrily, he walked to the door and scratched at it. "Bad noise... B-Bad," he said and stopped the scratching and sat there.
"Noise?" Nikon asked as he heard the neko's meowing reply. He stood up and walked to the door. "You mean my typing? My work?" Ari meowed again, and Nikon chuckled. He sat down beside the door and sighed. "If I don't work, then I won't have any money. If I don't have any money, then I can't buy food to support us all. I don't want us to go without food," he explained. It was in the simpliest way he could tihnk of saying it. On the other side, Ari sat there, tilting his head to the side. He began purring as he laid down by the door and yawned loudly. "Get some sleep." Nikon got up and walked back to the desk to get back to work, trying his best not to get too loud.

Mordred thought about what he should tell. He decide just to tell her the truth.
"You see out side this town slaver doesn't really happen. Its allowed in this city but even some of the people in the city don't like slaver," Mordred told her and then he gave her a questioning look
"If I'm going to be with you why wouldn't I hear you talking?"Mordred asked as he stood in the house.

Aneres stopped and listened, her expression was a confused one. "Why is that?" she smirked at his question. "I'm part vampire. Vampires can talk quieter and faster then other people....we're inanuble to people but we can hear each other as though we were talking in our regular voice as I am now." The vampire explained the best she couls and hoped he wasn't confused by it. She walked around Mordred and looked at him.

"Because some people belivie it is a wrong morle decision,"Mordred told her. As she explanied he notied what she said.
"Well the quiet part I can do, my ears are very sensitve and i can normally hear just about anything, but as far as fast talking you have me at a lost. Really can't understand a person when the talk really fast," Mordred explained to her.

Aneres watched as Mordred walked around her to the kitchen. "I'm not sure...they only gave me blood." she said as she followed him to the kitchen. "Hm, I'm not hungry but can I try something?"

Chase was just about to fall asleep. Another minute and there would have been complete silence from him, and then this infernal clicking started up! It was already really quiet, so the clicking was echoing and loud. He raised his head a bit, cracking open and eyes and looking at the door. He saw Ari going over to the door, hearing the muttering but not the words, and closed his eyes again.
But he was restless now, after being rudely pulled out of the peaceful mood he had been lying in. He rolled slowly onto his back, pawing at the metal springs under the bed then wriggling out of the confined space. He watched the door speaking. . . Or that's what it seemed like. Then he padded over and nudged the door with his thumb. It didn't do anything. Chase looked down at Ari, confusion and a detesting anger on his features, then nudged the door again. He sat down beside it, then heard footsteps leading away from the door. He had heard 'get some sleep' and Ari seemed o be doing exactly that. But the boy didn't want to sleep anymore. He wanted to escape. To travel back to his plains and grasslands. . .
He leaned over, his hand to the side of the neko's head, and sniffed him. He didn't smell any different than before. The grey haired boy drew back, puzzled. Had the door been talking? Was he just too underfed and malnurished to notice that it actually wasn't, and his mind was playing trick on him? Or was Ari doing that. . . ? In truth he had no recollection that Nikon was behind the door. He had never been in a situation like that.
He snarled at the door, drawing his fist back to his cheek then throwing it into the door. It created a very hallow loud sound, and gave a small creak, but nothing else. Chase huffed, bristling.

Mordred started looking through the cooler.
"Well if you get hungrey we can worry about expanding you menu choices later. I shouldn't eat to many snacks," Mordred said as he walked to the living room.
"Well what do you want to do till night fall?" Mordred asked.

Ari jolted and sat up, panting from his heart skipping. He looked at Chase and made a 'hmm' sound. Bringing his legs up to his chest, Ari rested his head on his knees and shut his eyes. Nostalgia for a time when he was a kitten came back. Being with his mother... Tears formed in Ari's eyes, and he began to cry. "M-M-Moooother," he whined and rubbed his eyes. "A-Ari wants m-mother." He sniffled once and looked around. There had to be a way to escape. But, if he had managed it, he would be brought back to the slavery. He would never see the kindness of this Nikon man again. It had been years since anyone even wanted to take him. And then there was the Chase boy. He seemed more like a feline than a human. That was very comforting to Ari. The neko crawled over to Chase's feet and looked up at him, a tear rolling down his face. "Kitty," Ari purred and shut his eyes happily. A short yawn came from the neko as he went over to the bed and laid on the soft bedding. He curled up into a ball, the blankets warming up his cold body. "Sleeeeeep."

Aneres pouted for a second before nodding. "Okay. Hmm, I don't know...what do people normaly do?" she asked with her head tilted as she sat on the floor. "snacks?

"I think normally people read or play games. I dont have any games. I have a bunch of books sitting right over there," Mordrd said as he potined to a book case in the living room or people also take naps," Mordred said not knowing what else to tell her. As far as Mordred could tell its like this girl had just been born yesterday.

"Okay, I can read. What are there?" The slavers taught all the slaves to read and write but they never taught them things such as snacks or anything that they thought would make them act out, they especialy never taught them the word freedom. "What do you normaly do?" Aneres asked as she went to the bookshelf.

"Well they are mostly fanstsy novels, and crime dramas," Mordred said as she walked to the book shelf.
"Me, well I can do nothing. I sit and read or take a nap, that kinda stuff," Mordred aswnersd her second question.
