Thalon awoke a few hours later to see Foxxene`s beautiful face hovering over his attempting to return him to consciousness. "Uh...thank you Fox you truly are a friend milady, and to the kitchen crew i apologize for losing consciousness and not being able to help". Thalon moaned painfully as he got up to see the last dish being carried upstairs. Thalon slowly walked up the stairs and saw everyone waking up. Thalon walked over to the table and grabbed a chicken leg and ate it as he laid in his bed. Thalon drank some milk and drifted off to sleep he had to regain his full energy everyone had a long journey ahead of them to The Kingdom of Nightingale.

Foxxenne looked at Deathstar and nodded. "Exaustion is all. He'll live." She sat back and waited.

When Thalon woke up she was glancing over him to check and make sure he was ok. She quickly sat back and simply nodded in response to his comment and watched as he walked up the stairs after the last tray of food.

He wasn't gone long before she tensed as she felt a shift the the atmosphere around her and she glanced behind her as a portal opened up and out stepped the man who'd attacked her earlier. "You thief. Where'd you take it?" She said quietly so she wouldn't disturb anyone or put an innocent in harm's way. She reached down slowly to her left hip dagger grasping it, but not pulling it out.

"Well it took you a while to notice, but I guess you get my point. So please make this easy and take one step forward then put all your weapons on the floor there." He said, acidicly polite. He stared at his left hand as it lit fire, while the other on idly twirled the dagger that had already caused her so much trouble.

She didn't move, but instead she gathered what little water vapor there was in the air and encircled his hand with it, suffocating his flame. "That little spark is of little consequence." She told him, standing tall.

He laughed a short cold bark of a chuckle and shot back. "That I know but I'm sure that the time properties of this knife is a plently bigger threat."

"You'd have to touch my curse first." She stated, but took a step back all the same. He stepped forward and began to close the space. She panicked and lashed out. He blocked her kick with his free hand easily, and attacked back with his knife, carefully aiming for her bandaged right shoulder.

He growled as the blade missed and changed tactics. She shoved passed her and blocked all her escapes, he stood frowning down on her as she knelt on the floor. "Just put the weapons down and the job can be simple and clean."

Her eyes narrowed as she realized who this person was. "You're the new collector?" She said in sudden disbelief. "Odd that they replaced the old one so fast..." She quickly snapped out of it and charged past him as fast as she could.

He was ready and he touched the back of her right should with the flat of the blade. She screamed as a gash opened up on her left side. She passed out as the memory of her family's deaths replayed vividly, wounds and all.

Thalon called for the towns healers to come try and heal her, he also called for some paladins to attempt to assist the healers. Once everyone was gathered around Foxxene, Thalon alerted the guards to keep an eye out for the man and to do an investigation. "Look Foxxene i know you severely injured and your in no position to travel but we must head out to The Kingdom of Nightingale; or thing may just get worse, i presume your things are upstairs i will pack them for you if it would help." Thalon said with great care and sympathy yet talking fast because he was in a hurry. Thalon rushed upstairs to gather his things and helped the others pack. Once all the cargo was packed up and the luggage was downstairs, Thalon returned to Foxxene`s side and awaited her response; whether or not he could pack for her. Thalon although a bit misguided and a cruel victim of fates twisted plan he was a man of virtue in most way and respected others property, especially a lady's.

Thalon let out a little laugh and smiled at Foxxene`s reaction to the paladins. "Foxxene they were just going to use their magic on the water to enhance help the bandages when they are dipped in the water; in other words they were going to make it into holy water" Thalon explained as he smiled. Thalon hadn't eaten much yet so he began to consume a delicious ham & cheese omelet. Thalon finished the omelet and drank the rest of his milk. As he was wiping his mouth clean of his milk mustache, he realized they were done wrapping Foxxene up. "Oh im terribly sorry, here ill help you up the stairs" Thalon apologized as he put Foxxene`s arm over his shoulders and slowly assisted her walk up the hard oak stairs that creaked every other step.

Foxx step through her pack on her back. She wasn't in the best condition at the moment but she was always able to work through it. She always needed to. First thing she did as she got out of the portal was to walk over to a tree and sit down.

She closed her eyes and sent her lightning magic out of it's reserves and directed it at her curse on her right shoulder willing it into dormancy. The whole time before then it had been glowing darkly on her back under her clothes but now it faded slightly but not completely. She continued to focus. It faded little by little until it was just a pale tattoo on her back.

After that was done she breathed deeply like a huge weight had just been taken off her chest. The only time she ever felt like she was drowning were time when her curse was activated. She quickly pulled a vial out of her bag and fumbled weakly with the stopper.

Thalon sighed and wiped his face then returned his book to the bag which was now worn on Thalons back. "Ok, lets head out" Thalon said with an unusual grim, uncaring voice as he walked out. It wasn't that Thalon thought it was weird but the other members of his party might think so. They were used to such a caring, fun loving person that just had a few dark moments. Thalon eventually scewed from the usually thoughts in his head and stopped caring about other things and just kept walking. Soon enough Thalon stopped caring much a about hygiene either so his hair now drooped into Thalons eyes; but Thalon didn't mind he didn't want to see the world. Such a horrible blood soaked dreadful world it was and such gruesome vile people and creatures he beheld. In spite of these feelings of hate Thalon kept to himself and continued walking.
