Hi! My real name is Becca, but please call me Misty or Mistypaw. I am 29, married, and belong to 3 cats. If you want to know more personal interests and non pagan/magic related info, go read my profile. It’s pretty detailed.

Warning… Looooong intro below!

I started studying Wicca around 1996. I was mostly solitary, but guided by my friend and her mother, who is a local CoG High Priestess (www.ladybridget.com/index.html). I learned a lot, but there were a few kinks in my way. Particularly that I had trouble dedicating myself to one specific Tradition, Pantheon, God and or Goddess. It bothered me, but I plowed forward, generalizing it to the basic God and Goddess. When the time came, my friend was made Third Degree, and I did not because I didn’t feel it was right without that being resolved.

Though my friend promised to vouch credibility for me should I ever need it, I decided if I *have* to be certifiable for something, then I’m not sure I want it. Learning never ends whatever age or degree you may be. And I have seen such snobbery, politics, and backstabbing amongst some of the local covens – that I really want nothing at all to do with it. The only things I might ever need officially for is teaching or forming a coven. I really have little desire to form a coven, since I’ve only met very few people I really feel comfortable working with on a magically intimate level. Teaching appeals to me, but to do it face to face I’d fall again under the scrutiny of local pagan politics. Online is totally possible, just understand my background and they you’d not be getting any official lineage or anything along those lines.

Though I studied Wicca for years and am quite knowledgeable on the topics pertaining to it (modesty – I has it. :p) , I actually no longer consider myself Wiccan. It was difficult, but I decided it was silly to cling to the word Wicca when I’m really not. As I said above, I have no official standing, and there was that little problem of indecisiveness.

My father’s family is Christian, and my mother’s family is Jewish. Christianity passes primarily through the fathers and Judaism through the mother – funny that. I was raised with my mother, but I was given very little religious education and not taught to love and honor the traditions of my family’s religion. Though I became pagan, I fell in love with and married a Jewish man by chance. His family was more observant, and though he is secular, I learned more respect and understanding of Judaism from him. I also learned that my Grandfather was a Kohen, which I take pride in.

In preparation for our wedding (which I agreed to be primarily Jewish, though I did jump a broom) I researched the meanings of various wedding traditions to see what I could do to make it more spiritual to me. I was surprised to find a LOT of similar symbology and meanings. After we got married, we went on Birthright Israel (www.birthrightisrael.com) together and I learned even more. And then he worked for a year with a Chabad school.

All this taught me that perhaps I don’t need to look so far for the answers, though I still need to dig deep. Though I am far too liberal, interpretive, and equality minded to ever be orthodox – I admire the honest passion and spiritual wealth they have. The reform movement has many of the ideals I agree with, but it feels spiritually empty. I hate the typical sit/read/stand/sit temple mentality. I want to dance, sing, love, and honor the world around me.

I am currently investigating the Jewish Renewal Movement (Wikipedia: Jewish renewal) (https://www.aleph.org/) (Kohennet) which seems to be along the lines I am interested in. I want to keep elements of Wicca that I love, but put it into a more Jewish context. With the great Adonai as my Lord and Mother Shekina as my Lady… with acknowledging the holiday’s *and* the seasons turning of the earth. I still work magic, though mine is more the way of the intuition and heart, I believe it no less effective.

I am also a Reiki Teacher/Master. Again, don’t bug me about credentials. While I know my lineage there, and I did have a live hands on series of attunements, I still don’t believe that’s the most important factor.

If you have any questions please ask So I may clarify and redefine things here as needed to make it better understood. I am working on writing a series of essays for a website, so I appreciate having people to beta-run my thoughts. I look forward to sharing ideas here! smile

Hey, I'm Josie-Lyn, Josie or Jo for short.
I love to draw and I'm teaching myself to draw anime (it's taking a while but I'm getting there). Although I have been interested in magic for ages, I'm fairly new to this. Luckily my sister is more experienced so when she has time she can help me out.
Umm... thats it I guess.

Hi everyone.
I'm Indigo... I don't really have a nickname, but I'm open to suggestions!
I'm 17, and I'm currently at sixth form.
I'm a scientist.
I've been interested in Wicca for some time now - at least a coule of years - and I'd like to learn more about practising, as I live in a small town in the UK where there isn't a coven.

Yeah, that's me.
On a lighter note, I like ice-cream sandwiches and the ninja emoticon.

Hai~!

My Gaia name is Rawrcicle but you can just call me Ari~
I love the color Green and my favorite holiday is Halloween.
[Go Figure~]

I love to read and write.
I also play the guitar.
I'm a total gamer.
[I love the final fantasy series soooo much~]

My wiccan background is pretty simple:
I have always been fasicinated by it so one day I decided to look it up.
I've been practicing it now for about 6 months or so.
I do cast spells~
For the most part they all work very well.

On the sad side:
There's no coven where I live.
: [
So I've just been wanting to talk about it and share my spells and I haven't had the chance.
I'm hoping I have the chance now~

<3Ari~

Hello everyone!
My name is Aimee, though people often shorten it to Ai or Aims. I don't mind whether you call me by my real name or my user name.
I'm a singer, I enjoy writing poetry and prose and when I have the time I like to draw too. I also love to read.

I picked up a book about Wicca when I was 12 years old, and although I didn't start practicing it then I've always been thinking back to what I learned from it, and gradually I've come to realise that this could well be the religion for me. I'm 16 now, and having been exposed to many religions now I think I'm ready to choose a path for myself.

I look forward to meeting you all and making new friends <3

Hi, my name is Amber (or that is my Wiccan name at least). I have been a solitary practicioner of wicca for several years now. I love to read about wicca and learn new things. I also like aromatherapy, which I am studying at the moment. On a non wiccan side, I like music, history (ancient mostly), reading novels, writing and collecting beanie kids. I would love to make friends and I look forward to learning from you (and possibly teaching you too!)

Hello 3nodding
I would rather not give out my real name, but for other purposes, you may call me Selene. I'm 16 years old and have been studying Wicca for a few years, although I have been pagan for much longer. Nature and spirituality are both very important to me, and I enjoy science, philosophy, herbalism, aromatherapy, photography, history, writing, among other things. I feel very devoted to the Goddess, and plan to spend my time in this life doing what I can to help the environment and help us understand it better. I'm vegetarian (going on to be more of a vegan), I like many different kinds of music, I'm a bit of a stoner (not saying that to be cool, it's just the truth), I work with the forest service and at an herb shop.
I enjoy learning, and while I know I still have a lot to learn, when I find something interesting to me I become very investigative. I'm open to new ideas, but I'm also very questioning and sometimes critical. I'm home schooled, but I'm pretty busy working on a science project (going to an international competition in May...) along with other things.
I get along with interesting and down to earth people, which can be hard to find among my age group. I absolutely love cows, cats, manatees, and patchouli. My favorite colors are green, blue, and purple, and I'm obsessed with the idea of faerys. I like going to the beach and hiking when I get the chance. I also like to meditate.
I'm more of a solitary practitioner but I am part of a small coven, and we celebrate sabbats together when we get the chance, along with discussing other things.
Well, that covers some of it.

Now I'm burning alive,

Oh dear -sighs.- I hate introductions, because I never really know what to write... I guess if you have any questions you can PM me? heart

Name: Kaie
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Height: 5'2
Age: Seventeen
Date of Birth: October 8th, 1990.
Path?: Still deciding, although I'm interested in High Magick, and then the roots that Paga and Wicca came from... I don't really like Gardner's popularized version, but it has it's perks.

My animal guides are: fox, wolf, hawk, tiger and horse. (It doesn't feel right if I decide to just "pick" one of them... So, that explains for the numbers.)

D: I don't know what else to put... I guess that's sufficient enough...

just like you.

Hey I go by Kendal, K or Dommy.
I'm a 17 year old, 5"3, 7 stone female living in the UK.
I play acoustic guitar, adore all animals and live to make art.

I've been interested in Wicca since I was about 14 even though I've never been religeous but distanced myself from it due to the strong, christian belief of my boyfriend's family. However since learning that he's drifting away from his religeon I've felt more secure to look into Wicca and see if its right for me. 3nodding
