Nali sighed and kept on running. what kills hounds? she asked herself as they continued running

"What if we distract them? It was just a thought, but if we can't kill them, why not make them go after something else?" Hiral tried to think of something to distract them with as he kept running.

"No, sacrificing your self is not a good idea." Kartea said as he continued to run. "If I could make some meat, I would, but there is nothing here. Unless, some one wants to sacrifice an arm, but I am sure no one would want to." Thinking a little bit, then speaking again. "If we split up, they would split up as well, they are smart." Looking around a little bit, then seeing a building that was still standing, but had a few holes in it. "Go to there!" He pointed out to the building. "I can reinforce it with alchemy, and make it stronger, until the hounds leave!"

"whatever dude, sounded fun, tag with hounds! Who can say they have ever done that before!" Ax charges for the one of the holes/ "you sure whats on the other side is safe old man?" He asks before ducking into it.

"Right now our concern is these dogs, We'll deal with anything else later." Making sure he had a good grip on Kartea, Hiral made a bee line towards the building, "Let's impound those dogs."

"Hounds track primarily by scent if we can mask our scent, we can ditch them. It might be a better idea to find a river and wade through it. Dogs can't track our scent through water. Of course, this idea does depend on us finding some body of moving water. And Hiral, I was joking about sacrificing yourself. I don't think we should split up, because it never works and someone always ends up getting lost."

Kartea had looked around for a lake. "Well, If you want to try that, good luck. Because I don't see one here..." He said as they went into the building. "Time to get this wall fixed." He said as they got into the building. Falling down to his knees, as he clapped his hands. "Everyone, get in now! Or you will be trapped out side!" With that the wall started to glow, and the holes started to close slowly, giving the people who where out side, enough time to get into the building.

Zarxis slowly proceeds into the forming building. "If we're just gonna wait them out, I'm gonna catch some sleep, I need to refill my reserves." Zarxis then lies down, takes off his coat, and proceeds to use it as a pillow. As he drifts off he tries to puzzle out the nature of the strange hounds. How did they shrug off my blasts. Nothing should be able to resist them without a good deal of magical training. I'm gonna need to consult my books later. In retrospect, I probably should have tried to master some other invocations instead of always relying on my eldritch blasts. Stupid hindsight.

Hiral slid through one of the smaller holes and landed beside Nali. He have a huge breath and said, "Whew! That was envigorating! Now if you'll excuse me." Hiral folded his legs into the lotus position and begun to meditate.

"That should do it." Kartea said as the last hole had closed up. "Now everyone is in here. We need to find some way to fight them, or wait them out. If we fight, we can go to the top of the building, and do it that way." He said as he saw them all go rest. "That does seem like a good idea, we should rest." Saying that to him self, he walks over to the side of the building, and sits down as he falls asleep lightly.
The sounds of the hounds could be heard outside the building. They didn't seem to want to go away. They kept scratching at the wall, and howling.
