Did any bands attend UIL or DC Fest in Richardson, Texas these past two weeks? If so, that was my school. :0 I helped staff DC Fest Friday and Saturday, but not UIL. Was anyone there?

PM me if you know what school I'm talking about!!! ehh thats strange we have a Clay high school and a clay-chalkville high school here in Alabama eek ANOTHER ALABAMIAN!!! eek !1cheese are you north, south, or in the middle? i'm from LA(lower alabama) mobile if u r from alabama u know about homewood we play them in football every year I live in Mobile! I go to McGill-Toolen and have like one of the smallest bands >.< I think we had about 62 people including gaurd this year O-o

hey, just got back from the dixi classic national festival thing in chattanooga, TN. my band got a superior rating and a bunch of "this section rocks" awards. much fun, except for the part where couple of the busses broke down and we got to cram all the people, bags, and instruments into those remaining. if was definitely an adventure. xd

I'm from Grand Prairie, Texas (in Dallas county) and I'm a Grand Prairie High School Gopher....the band could march and play our show and beat our football team at football at the same time...lol sweatdrop

okay, texas, you have too many band people. What about south florida! i am in stuart, fl, at martin county high school. this year marching season was screwed up due to the 2 hurricanes... that was fun.... yes, i am being sarcastic

Okay, 2nd round of DC Fest at my school. Of course I helped staff it, so - anyone drive to Richardson, TX May 6th? I might've been your greeter (named Cat). :0 I guided Lee Freshman HS Band 1, Pearland HS Band 2, Hebron HS Band 1, and Midland HS Band 1.
...Agh.. been up since 6am. Now it's 6pm and I've still got 2 hours to go. (I'm posting from my Band Hall's Music Library). It's like marching season all over again! blaugh

GO POWELL MIDDLE BAND! O_< And Powell High, I guess...

We were the only 8th grade/middle school band playing a grade III piece of music at the festival.
And we were the only band to get all I's.
The other bands must have sucked, though... ._.
This concert, we're playing a grade FOUR piece of music. xD!!

My band, Columbia High School, attended DC fest last weekend in South Padre Island, Texas. We got Superior, and Runner-Up. 3nodding

Is anyone here playing Windsprints for there show next year? albert (my BD) said were going to be the only ones in our genreal area to be doing it, and i was wondering how large is our gernal area? with him it could be the sitrict, state ,region, country who knows hes so strange we could be the only ones in teh world doing that show becuase he has contacts with alien BDs that probed him at age 7 to turn him into a super bd and someone in the Alpha Centari (spelt that wrong) system is doing it. wow im ranting on about retarded nothings again! i like special muffins > razz ... dont ask.

hey y'all! im from south mississppi! i just joined the guild...thought i would drop in and say hi to everyone! so .... HIYA! anyways...im in the stone high pride marching band from stone county ... of course ... anyways we are doing a jazz show next year, which should be awesome we did big apple sketches my 9th grade year (when we were in the macy's parade) and then 10th grade we did a carmen show (u know ... the play thingy) and then this year we did let the games begin which was like monopoly, chess, stuf like that, for props and flags then had like game time songs it was awesome...won state championship with it....we have won overall in every contest in the last at least 10 years....that i know of...umm...wat else? i dunno...we have the most awesome band directors....(*hail schuman*) and our band is only gonna be about 140 next year, small, but we should be even better with ppl quittin n all.....enough about us i guess...haha....so what sup? anyone from mississppi?

Masquanade Won what state championship are you talking about? Are you perhaps talking about state festival (the one that takes place in Gulfport)? Mississippi doesn't hold a competive marching festival, indiviual places do like Perk has the Gold Cup and so forth. Anyways yes I'm from Southern Mississippi. 3nodding hey! ok it was the MHSAA BMA Marching Championship....i was in 4A though....and it was in Pearl, Mississippi....they just did it this year....was the first one...we do go to gulfport though and also to perk...we won overall at perk and got all superior on the coast...what band are u in by the way? we also go to foley, alabama...but we went to pearl instead this year
