She looked up and nodded thankfully to Maryn, and turned back to Sai.
"...It's just, I was so worried. I first thought that mabye you'd email me or something later on, so we could keep in touch. But then as the months went by, I wondered if you had died durning one of your missions. It wasn't til today I realized that you were still alive." she said. "...but, I've thought about it, and it's ok. We all make mistakes; were only human after all. I'm just happy that you're back." she said. There was no point in being angry at him; it'd only hurt them both, and Sai already looked guilty.

Sai was kind of glad she had been thinking of him all
this time he was away. He would have emailed her but
where he had run away to had no internet, no computers,
nothing that could leave evidence for him to be tracked
down.
"I was... in hiding... I was afraid..."
Sai looked Sakura in the eye, so that she would understand
how afraid he was.
"I wasn't afraid of dying myself. I was afraid of losing everyone.
I was afraid that they would kill you too... If that happened I
don't know what I would have done..."

Maryn stopped tugging so hard and smacked Kay-Dash in the back of the head. "You idiot, didn't you see they wanted to be alone instead of just standing there you should have wlaked off, ." Maryn laughed

It was all starting to make a bit more sense now. She could see that he had no choice, that he had to hide, to help everyone else. He was such a self-sacraficing person. "I see. Well, I do appreciate the fact you were worried about me. I just don't want to lose you again." she said, resting her head on his shoulder.
Suddenly, her phone went off, a reminder message.
"Oh shoooooot! I have to finish a college signature on something today! Out of all the timings, argh! Sorry, I have to run. Um, here." she quickly wrote down a phone number and an email address. "These are mine. I dunno if you're staying in town or not, but these are just in case. Sorry again, but I'm doomed if this isn't done today!" she kissed him on the cheek, and ran off towards Lily college. She also pulled out here phone and explained Maryn's situation to the apartment manager (although leaving out alot of details), who agreed to give Maryn a spare key when she arrives.
((Sorry, I g2g. I know I can't get on Monday, and the rest of hte week I dunno. But I know I'll be on Friday, if no other day.))

Sai watched her run away in an instant...
"...I love her..so much..."
Roman walked behind Sai as he finished that sentence.
"I knew it!"
"Erk."
"I'm so right! Hahaha!"

"C'mon man, I knew you had it in you."
"I'm... going to kill you ... slightly."
"Hahahaha! I know I know... So when is the marriage?"

"Am I the best man?"
"Go away."
"Never! You and I, are a team."
"...So why were you traveling for the past five years?"
"I was worried I guess. Plus, I wanted to do something
for the world."
"Why?"
"Cause I felt something good would happen if I do."
"Why would you think that?"
"Cause you're back? I guess..."
"Where do you live anyway?"
"Umm... well, I still own an apartment here. I've been
paying the rent long distance. Even though I haven't
been to it since Rejects Academy first opened up."
"Lets go then."
"Haha. What? Do you want to be my roommate?"
"I need place to stay for the moment."
"Haha! Alright roommate!"
"Stop calling me that."
"You can stay, anytime buddy."

"You miss him don't you." he said as he sat down on the bench and looked at the ground. "I tried to keep away from relationships like that. For reasons like this." he started to crack his knuckles.

Ashinros filtered through the ground in her signature black and purple swirls. She noticed Sai and wondered how he had been. "It's been a good long time hasn't it?"
Her eyes were soft and began to pale more than usual. She crossed her arms and shifted her weight from her right to her left side. Her wings rested against her body gently as she stood there.
