Storm was slow in answering, thinking.
"Yes...but that many, many years after ariel elves were around. How could elves that came centuries before the birth of your Cain come from him?"

Kibo: How do you know they're so old? There's no date for when Cain actually lived.

"For the humans maybe. As for elves, and other races, we have..."
Storm stopped herself.
"We had records, dates of when the individual races ran across each other. Elves didn't see humans until the Fouth Age, the Age of Acceptance. And even that was towards the end, the sixty-third year."

Kibo: And where was Cain's first appearance?

"New Tahnon. Or, what's now called Madrid."

He sighed, hitting himself in the forehead with his palm.
Kibo: I meant where in your timeline was Cain's first appearance?

Storm looked mildly annoyed at being supposedly so old.
"Never met the b*****d myself. I came along several Ages later. When they were using the DR calandar."

"Such as you humans are fond of, the elves calandars switched over to another. Albiet, this was only once, but still the same. Or rather, the races collaberated together, and used just one calandar: the DR, or Dale Reconing; 'twas named after a blind prophet's prophocies. The elves switched from the Ages to the DR, in the Age of Sojorns."

Kibo honestly wanted to choke Storm at that moment.
Kibo: You're like a 2-year-old, you know that? Let me reword this in a way even you'd understand. Where, Storm, in either of these calendars that the elves have been using, was Cain's first appearance?

Storm shook her head.
"Haven't you been listening to a single word I've been saying? Cain came into this pretty word of ours in the sixty-third year of the Age of Acceptance, in New Tahnon. Madrird, now."

"I don't know, and I don't really want to know. You humans are an interesting pestillance and that's about it."

Storm gave another shrug.
"He's long dust by now, anyway. It's much to late for me to be caring about the first rodent, now isn't it?"
She sounded bitter.
"The damage has been done, the rope knawed through."
