Liliana heard the same sound Uki did. Even though she didn't want to change the happy atmosphere, she was kind of forced to. She spoke to the ground, not wanting to feel more guilty by looking into his eyes. "Err.. no. thank you. I'm..kind of a vegetarian." And with that, she closed her eyes, in hope to block out the horrible image of what Uki might do to that poor little creature.

Haruki eyed her and sighed inwards so she wouldn't hear. "Would you think I'm horrible for eating one or two? and don't lie just because you think it's what I might want to hear." He watched her closely so he could pick up on any sign of a lie.

Liliana peeked an eye open. Since he wanted the whole truth, she glanced up to look into Haruki's eyes, and hesitantly said, "Kind of.." Then she looked away and said defiantly, "But it's your food, eat what you want."

Her heart quickly melted. He was doing this for her. Shyly looking at him, she said, "fish is fine." And with a sweet smile, she walked over towards Haruki. "But you really don't have to do this, you know."

Liliana just laughed as she pranced beside Uki to the river bank. Whispering under her breath in reply, though, she said, "As I've noticed."

Haruki paddled a long at a steady pase. The bright blue butterfly where coming out in droves now. He stop when the falls behind them was nothing more then a faint rummbling in the distance. He bent in low over the river. "Ok so how do you catch fish?" He asked her.

Liliana looked at Haruki with amazement and shock. "You don't know how to catch a fish??... -pausing- It's really, fairly, simple!" She pranced over to the edge of the river and glanced at Uki. "You just stand by the edge like this.. (Liliana bowed down and shook her bottom and tail in the air) wait until you see its shadow in the water, (she focused more intently on the water) and.." -SPLASH!- Liliana sprang from the bank and plunged into the cool, shallow water. After putting up a fight with the struggling fish, she leaped upwards and out of the water with it held tighly in her mouth. "maow yoove ghot ah feesh." Liliana smiled at Uki as she stand in the river, drenched from the catch.

Haruki held back the urge to his forehead with his paw. Of couse he knew how to fish, he was a hunter after all and he did like fish. He just wanted to know how she fished, to see if it was different from the way he did it, but she looked and seemed to even glow with pride and happiness from showing him how it's done. So he bit his tongue and stayed quiet, listening, and hanging onto every word she said.
Haruki chuckled "So thats the way it's done. Hmm. Lets see now. I do it like this?" He bent in low to the river and waited for a fish. He did just as Liliana did. -splash- A fish was in his mouth and going no where but his belly. Haruki walked back up onto the shore and smiled at Liliana. "Mour m good eeacher

Liliana sensed sarcasm in the way Haruki repeated her fishing ways, but she didn't care. She was much too excited about showing him something she did for once. You know, kinda like a giving back just a tiny bit for all he did for her. Liliana shook the water off herself with one big shake before she gulped down her fish. She jumped up on the shore next to Haruki, kissed his cheek softly and chirped, "thank you!" before laying down in the grass. Liliana started to look at the clouds, but didn't really feel like just sitting there. Before she even thought about what it would look like, she began to move her body back and forth along the ground, scratching her back against the dirt. "ahhh, that feels good!" she thought to herself with a grin.

Haruki ate his fish in two bites. "No thank you m`lady." He smiled at her and blushed when she kiss his cheek. He layed down on the grass with her and watched the clouds. Wishing he cloud be up there with them. He turned to her when he made a noise. "Got flees?" He laughed.

Liliana's eyes had been closed when she heard Haruki's comment. Stopping and opening her eyes, she looked up at him upsidedown. "No, just an itch." she replied with a sly smile. She noticed Haruki looking into the sky admirably, so she softly nudged his previously injured wing a little. "So...how long before you'd say you could use it again?" She was honestly curious, but she asked cautiously; she was afraid it may spark hostility again.

His wing twitch, stretched then refolded it's self when she touched it. "Not too long it does feel a lot better. I bet I could fly on it today but I'll wait for one more nights rest before I greet the clouds again." He smiled at her.

Liliana's guilty consceince quickly leaped from her mind, and the pressure of the subject subsided. She smiled a silent "yay!" to his decision. Feeling a bit lovey, Liliana scooted closer to Haruki and lay her head on his chest. She closed her eyes and listened to the soft thumping of his heart beat. What a perfect environment for an afternoon nap, she thought.
