One of Edmond's eyebrows rose. "The Omen?' What's that?" He had a puzzeled face about him. He looked at her clothes and didn't think they looked that bad. Nothing a little alchemy couldn't fix.

She blushed. "Oh something my sister called me... It's kind of a weird story... But I guess I might tell. So as it turned out, I was born as my father was killed by a homonculi. That didn't make mother so happy... But I was like the outcast of everything and weird things happened when I used alchemy... She saw one of the outcomes." Koori shuddered at the thought of it.

Goosebumps ran up and down Edmonds spine. "Wow! I don't have any interesting stories like that. I do have a dog though. He's pretty big. His name is Black Hayate." He feels that due to the relationship that their fathers had, they could share that same relationship.

Deciding that running was too much of a hassle, Dalton slowed to a walk as he approached the small group of people. At the head of the group was Koori. After what he saw earlier he wasn’t surprised, but the others looked a little newer compared to the rest he had met the night before. Brushing off his cloths as he approached Dalton decided best if he head into the cafeteria and let Koori mingle. Taking a few steps past the group Dalton stopped and decided to send a simple reminder towards Koori. “ Don’t forget about clearing out,” he called to her. Sending a smile with the comment Dalton strolled over to the lunch line grabbed a muffin and sat down at the table were his doodle still remained the day before.

So much for that idea, Miranda thought as she lingered at the edge of the small group of people. She wasn't sure what she had been expecting...a welcoming committee or something? Stupid, she chided herself. She hesitated a few moments more, as if hoping someone would mention in their conversations which way the dormitories were, but she soon saw she would be disappointed in that respect as well. Looking past the people, she now realized she was standing in front of the doors that led to the cafeteria. Her stomach rumbled as she caught a whiff of bacon wafting out the door. Making up her mind, she strode past the cluster of people in the doorway and entered the cafeteria instead.
The room was large, with many white tables set up in rows, and a counter running along the far wall. The room was beginning to fill up as students woke and came for a bite to eat before classes began. Feeling conspicuous in the doorway, Miranda made a beeline for the nearest empty table, and set her suitcase on a chair to show that it was occupied. Then she made her way to the counter, filling her tray with bacon, eggs, and toast. She smiled at the food as she made her way back to her table. For two years, her breakfast had consisted of porridge - usually cold - since her knowledge of cooking was limited. The baker's wife had always brought by a fresh loaf of bread, and the butcher gave her discounts since he and her father had been old friends, but it had been too long since she had been able to enjoy bacon and scrambled eggs.
Miranda amused herself as she ate by watching the other students nearby. Most hardly seemed to notice what they were eating, so focused were they on books they were reading or notes they were writing. Everyone looked so studious and well-dressed that Miranda felt more than a little ashamed of herself. If her own notes weren't packed all the way at the bottom of her suitcase, she would have pulled them out and studied them like all the rest. She also felt conspicuous in her old, patched coat and homespun dress, though no one had even glanced at her. I have much to learn, she thought a little sadly.

Yuuki nodded and smiled, following Alex to the tables. "I'll just get some food." She said and walked towards the serving area. After getting some food, she made her way back to the table to plop down and dig in.

"Alchemist name eh?" Yuuki stopped eating with her fork halfway and pondered. "Hmm..some people refer to me as the crazy alchemist that likes to poke sharp objects around, which isn't too far from the mark, but I guess politer people call me The Alchemist of Weapons." She looked back at Alex. "What about you? Have any alchemist names?"

"Hehe ..Um well my grandfather and my family would call me the black dragon blade alchemist. It was because I always carried a katana that had a black edge to it. I required it from my grandfather. A blade so carefaully made that it would never rust nor dull. It could even cut through at least a foot of pure diamond". Alex always kept it concealed and would transmute in whenever necessary. He ate more of his food."But i guess it sounds pretty cool. Oh I wanted to ask you if you wanted to train with me later. I usually train alone but I could use a partner". Alex looked in yuuki's eyes as he said this
