Bane listened carefully to Nadie, picking out the details of his false identity. He glanced down at himself for a second before calmly saying,"So, in other words, I'm pretending to be a vampire, who is currently visiting you on a business trip. I don't like to talk about anything in the past, and I won't know too much about your lands, or anything, other than in reports I would have been given, which I won't talk about to anyone but you and the rest of the Desdemona Family."
He grinned slightly rubbing one of his hands through his hair, before looking down at himself again, and saying quietly,"This probably wouldn't fool another Dragonakai... They'd recognize me as one of they're own, by scent... But I doubt we'll have any problem, with running into a Dragonak."
"Oh, and I'll need to be carefull with my wings won't I?", He continued, tilting his head to the side, before saying,"Well, lets get this going..."

She couldn’t help the smile that crossed her face. She had single handedly covered all the angels… even the wings. “Actually you don’t have to worry about your winds… I’ve… well I’ve shrunk them for about a week… that’s how long it will last for, the whole outfit lasts for a week. This is a slightly new project of ours so it’s still in development.” she wasn’t too sure if he was going to like being her test subject.
Nadie got up closing both laptops at the same time and walked around the desk. “Yes we should be on our way” she smiled, “You don’t look to bad for being dead” she laughed highly amused with herself as she waited for Bane… no Nicolas to leave the room, then as always she closed the door behind him. Then walked through the house and right out the front door, a little black sports car was sitting with the engine on. Nadie walked around the front of it opening the drivers door and slipping in waiting for “Nicolas” to climb in.
She couldn’t help, but wonder what was going through his mind… different thoughts of what his must be floated in and out and she buckled her seat belt. She drove as one might call prompt.

Bane blinked slightly, about his wings being shrunk, then decided it didn't matter. If they would turn back why should he care? Then again, the thought of being a guinea pig, made his wings curl.
He rolled his eyes at her joke, as he stepped out of the room, following her through the hallways, until they stepped outside. He glanced upwards, at the cloudy sky, before opening the door to the car, and climbing in, wrinkling his nose slightly at the smell. He hated cars, for their smell, but had rode in them enough to know to buckle up, quickly. As soon as he clipped in, she was going, which was actually a good thing in Bane's opinion, as it dissipated most of the scent.
"So, Nadie. How far is it?", he said, trying to act a bit more prim and proper than usual.

A smile of amusement twitched on the side of her mouth when he made a face. She pressed firmly on the accelerator, then everything outside of the car blur though it was hard to see through the heavily tinted glass. “It’s on the other side of town in the main hub…” she let her words trail for a moment before adding on, “and of course traffic is horrible… will be there in just two more minutes”
Outside the car the land scrape changed from country to the outskirts of town then it all disappeared as Nadie’s car seemed to be engulfed by a small hill on the side of the road then consumed by darkness. After a moment a dull light had taken over and Nadie gave a quick turn to the wheel and the car was parked as she got out in one swift movement. Her heels clicked on the pavement and echoed around the underground garage as she fastened an identification tag on. She stopped by the door waiting for him and holding the door open closing it after they entered. She spoke quickly to an older looking women at a desk right next to the door and was handed an identification tag, but in a different color then the one she was wearing.
“Here put this on please” she handed him the tag and turned around walking through a set of open doors and through an empty lobby into a glass elevator where a man stood asked her what floor they were going to, “10 please” and the elevator began moving down. After ten soft dings the doors open and Nadie was walking down the hall and into an office “So what is the problem now fellows?” she asked a group a men who were standing in the middle of the large white tiled room with a glittering black tile floor. The men turned and looked at her and the older of the men answered in a gruff voice“There seems to be a rise an crime and sightings in the northwest section of the town here… Kibeth pull it up” the shortest man of the group walked toward an open desk on the nearest laptop and on the wall was project a view of the town, Kibeth zoomed in so only one part of the town was shown. Nadie walked toward the wall as the old man pulled out a lazar and pointing things out to her.
“Well now isn’t that interesting…” she stood there still facing the map with her hands on her hips then she spun around, “Mitchell get me the names of all our patrollers who have even passed through that section of town in the last month and the regulars” a blond man left the remaining few and headed through a glass door, “now Robert and Garth would you please pull up all the names of humans who live in that area and none humans separating them by age, race, and gender” they were the last tow standing there. Nadie then walked toward Bane, “I’m sorry Nicolas for you having to come down here with me I know this isn’t what you had expected to be doing on your trip here” then with a strong glance into his eyes her lips not moving a whisper of her voice echoed *just play along… your of higher authority to all of them don’t look down to any of them, you’re the bigger man here*

"Two minutes... Interesting", Bane, or Nicholas as he was for the moment, thought, glancing out the tinted windows as they accelerated. His eyes widened in surprise when they shot into what seemed to be a hill. When light returned, Bane's eyes twitched around taking in everything quickly, before the car stopped.
As Nadie walked quickly across the pavement, Bane slowly climbed out, snapping the door shut behind him. He walked over to Nadie, and when she handed him a tag, he quickly fastened it in place. He followed along right behind her, as they headed through several sets of doors, and into an elevator. When they reached the right floor, he calmly followed her out, watching the proceedings about crime and other problems.
"Yes. This is not at all what I was expecting.", Bane said, glancing around the room, at the older man and the small one named Kibeth, before returning his eyes to Nadie, and muttering, so that only Nadie could hear him," Nonetheless, this is quite interesting, and I'll keep your words in mind."

Nadie was about to turn when “Nicolas” spoke in a hush tone and she turned back making the same eye contact she had before her lips not moving, but a whisper filled his mind *just think things like that I added a feature to your new look which allows telepathic communication as long as you are in this form.* and with that she turned back around.
“Gentlemen I’m being very rude to my guest” she waited for them to stop and give there full attention to her, “This is Nicolas Barnes tone a family friend and the head of a few family lands and companies in the West. So more or less we better see some results here.” her friendly tone had gone a little harsh and the men jumped back into work action. Within an hour they had found the cause to the problem and were dispatching a team to clear them out.
“Good work today if anything else happens you know where to reach me” and with that Nadie picked up her suit jacket gliding it around her body and walked toward “Nicolas” and out the door pausing for a moment for him to follow. They passed the at the desk by the door who collect the guest tag from “Nicolas” then they walked back to the car in silence Nadie had the engine running by the time “Nicolas” slipped into the car and was racing out back into the open as his seat belt clicked.
When they were out in the open Nadie drove the car up a dirt road on the side of hill which looked over the town. It was dusk and the town started to glow from the street lamps. The car came to a stop and was put into park.
“Is there anywhere you want or need to go right now?” she looked over at him then back out the window. This was slightly odd for some reason… how trusting he was and how easily she trusted him. It wasn’t right, it was against almost everything she was brought up to believe, but she trusted him. She even let him into her families home and modified his image to keep him safe. Her behavior was… well whatever it was it was something that was bringing back old thoughts, human thoughts…

"Telepathy... Interesting...", Bane thought, as Nadie turned around, and explained quickly who he was. Within the hour, in which the men worked to find the problem, and fix it. When they finally finished up, Bane followed Nadie out of the room, never having moved from where he had stood. He handed the tag back to the person at the desk, and followed Nadie out to the car. He climbed in thinking vaguely about how much he disliked the smell of cars, and before he had even gotten his seatbelt on, they were gone.
She drove them up onto a hill, which overlooked the city, now falling into the darkness of night. He liked the falling night, the edge of one thing and another. He glanced at Nadie when she spoke, before softly saying,"No, I have no where I need or want to go..."
He stared out the window, thinking, about how he could trust her so easily. It was odd, considering his normal thoughts about people, and who was trustworthy. He turned again, looking at her as she stared out the window, before slowly turning again, to watch the glow falling across the city, where the dark met light. Softly, he muttered,"I love this time of day..."

Her mind was twirling and she was falling into to it. Past thoughts and memories erupting to the surface then as quickly as they had come they left only leaving behind emotions. Her hair seemed to stand on end for a moment then was washed away by Bane’s warm breath his words stayed in her mind and she didn’t say anything at first.
Her mind working over his few words then she simply and slowly turned her head toward him her eyes catching the side of his, “so do I…” was all she could manage to say. She waited, watching him, what was he going to do? What was he going to say next?
Nothing in her mind or minds eye seemed to be working properly at the moment. In fact nothing she had been doing the past few days had fallen under the category of proper. So she waited.
