*He releases the boy's hand and takes a step back, looking him up and down once before looking back to Fae, then to the boy once again*
Will you excuse us for a moment, Lucien?

He looked from his 'father' to his mother, waiting for her reassurance before nodding. "And it's Lucian Decker, sir. Not Leviathan." Giving his mother a scolding look before he walked off.
Fae ran her fingers through her hair and sighed, postponing the moment, where she'd have to face up to what she'd done and why. Finally, she took a deep breath and looked at Enki.
"Yes?"

*Enki cocks an eyebrow, then steps closer to Fae*
I... don't know where to start with this one... My son...? Decker? As in Dante Decker? And how long have I been in the dark about this?

Fae wrapped her arms around her body, hugging it tightly, even though there was no real wind to speak of that could chill her. "Well, you know I was pregnant. Someone gave me a poison that made me allergic to you." She sneezed as if it was still somehow active, but most likely in rememberance. "It would have killed me, and therefore Lucian had I stayed." There was a pause as she continued.
"And then I never heard from you. Even those at the arena thought you had died or disappeared into the shadows along with the other guardians."

*He crosses his arms and looks around for a moment, then back to the young woman in front of him*
I was gone for quite some time... I actually just returned only a few weeks ago. I had to get a few things off of my chest, really.
*Enki looks over to the boy for a moment, then to Fae with a soft sigh. He takes a step close and embraces her gently, holding her against him*

The sigh of relief could be heard easily as she fell into his arms.Okay, so she hadn't been all the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, but she hadn't lied. She just hadn't said everything...yet. She'd get around to it, really she would. Right now, she just stayed in Enki's arms. Well, until she heard a discreet cough.
Her head perked up and she looked around, spotting her son a good distance away. "Oh...and I should mention, he seems to have gotten some of your bard like abilities..." making reference to the throwing of his voice he just did.

*Enki glances over, then releases Fae from his grasp*
Well, he could have gotten worse, I suppose... but it would seem that he's inhereted more personality raits from Dante...

"Heh..." Fae blushed, not sure how to tell him this part. "Tellus sent Dante to find me when I was about to give birth to Lucian. I..." She shrugged, and tried not to let the feeling of him letting her go, get to her. "...collapsed and he took me to the hospital. I was unconcious but Dante handled everything, even telling them that I was his wife so they wouldn't worry about the insurance, so Lucian ended up with his name."
She turned around, and looked out at the ocean, her arms still wrapped around her body. Her hair was long again now, still as crimson as ever, and it wrapped around her, making her appear much like a painting. "Dante helped raise Lucian. He sees him as his Da."

*Enki pulls off his thick trenchcoat, his long, blue hair, ried back in a loose ponytail, waving about in the wind as if part of the oceans itself. He steps up behind Fae and wraps his coat around her small form, keeping his hands on her shoulders for a moment before releasing them and looking out to the sea himself. His eyes seem to pulse with the washing and waining of the waves as a very small sigh escapes his lips*
I guess that's what happens when one become a bad father... though I guess one of my kids turned out all right...

She turned, and laid her head on his shoulder, not caring about Lucian's behavior. Fae and Enki had been close for too long for her to let it bother her too much. "You're not a bad father, Enki." She lifted her head, her cheek brushing his jaw.
"We are who we are. We have to accept that, or we are doomed to failure. We are neither good nor evil, but what we make of ourselves."

((Let's see if I remember this right...Probably not. ^_^;; ))
"Even if we were still immortal, things would go wrong." She placed her hand on his chest, twisted her body and reached up, pressing her lips to Enki's. "No matter what, Ly'destal'lore."
Another cough, this one not so discreet, and coming from a sullen blue haired teenager. Lucian's arms were crossed over his chest, and for a bard, he was still Leviathan enough to be a warrior as well.
"Dante is waiting at home, Mother..." Stressing both the name Dante and the word Mother. Fae turned and gave her son a dirty look. "And I taught you better manners, young man."
He matched her look with one that Enki would know well, a look of pure Fae blood stubborness. Tellus had gotten just that look from her, and apparently so had Lucian. Fae turned back to Enki, her fingers going to press to her lips then his as she smiled softly, if a bit sadly.

*A tiny gasp escapes Enki's lips as she leans up and kisses him, his other arm wrapping around the woman as he returns the kiss, the leviathan's song seeming to get louder as he does. His eyes glance to the young boy as he slowly pulls away from the distraction*
Ly'destal'lore'Faeriun
*He then smiles softly and kisses her small finger as it presses to his own lips*

There were tears in her eyes as she spoke next, refusing to let the boy get a word in edgewise. "Our lives are different now. I love you, Enki, but I'm a different woman then who I was." She wrapped her arms around her body again as she stepped away. It was Lucian who moved to removed Enki's coat and replace it with his own.
He looked up at Enki, and that gift of understanding that bards sometimes had was evident in his eyes. "She loves..."He was cut off short by a very ungraceful slug to his shoulder.
"I love Dante. He's who I've chosen to spend this time with." The tears were there and they pained her to say them. She did love Enki, but she wasn't the same, and who she was, loved Dante.

*Enki nods as he takes his coat and wraps his once again around his own body, the long fabric along with his hair dancing along in the wind. Sad to say, this was not the first time Enki had heard this and he doubted it would be the last. He looks at the girl and the boy and smiles softly, extending his hand to Lucien*
A pleasure meeting you, Lucien. I hope we can meet again sometime. And if you would do me a favor... tell your father I said "Hi." He and I used to be very close friends... and tell him to take good care of your mother for me.
*He then pulls away and bows slightly to the two*
