Fighting scares me. D:
I'm very insecure.
*fetal position*
I think that if it gets serious, disagreements should be taken somewhere not so public, at least. What you do in your inbox is your business, but what you do in the guild affects others. I come here to relax, not to get riled up and sucked into an argument.
(Remember that Algol guy? I was about to jump in and tell him to lay off, just before the angry post was locked or calmed down or something. Oh! And I saw him get rejected from another guild I'm in; he did nearly the same thing there with a public PM. It was kinda funny, because they really laid the proverbial smackdown on him, twisting his "I'll provoke you into looking like the bad guy" and "You're allowed to disagree with me but if you do you're an idiot" argument tactics and turning them against him.)
*cough*
But yeah.
Um...
I'm done.

*shrugs*
I can see where you all are coming from and all, but I still found it amusing. Then again, I've been told on more than one occasion that I have a twisted sence of humour and I'm not at all sure that I qualify as sane. So...

Indecisive Monkey Ok, previously we had one of these, but it was for crew only. However, we're changing that, because everyone should have some say right? So anyway post,l ideas, suggestions, critisisms (if you want to get mauled by chipmunks), and whatever else. LRPA IS TEH 1337 SUXORZ!!!! hehehehe bring on them chipmunks twisted Actually I'm here to make a suggestion. Now, keep in mind this is still in the production stage and is no where near being finished, but would anybody be interested in possibly implementing the Alpha version of my new RP system? It's a sort of D20 / Dice pool hybrid. I'm also in the process of colleecting oodles of maps and sprites to be used for online Roleplaying maps. If the sprites and the maps are all modular and sized to a grid then they'd all be able to be modified via paintshop on any computer or OS. This would mean that RPing on gaia would be given a more tactical face and might prove to be a draw for new members. This is simply a suggestion. I have the basis for the system but I need to finish drawing up the actual skills, feats, and techniques stats. (it will be a skill-heavy system) At this time I am making the project's existance known to people and seeing just how many people are actually interested in it's implementation. ...yeah, I'm done now.

I would like to see this implemented in some way, but only for individual RPs, not as a guild-wide system. --- Secondly. We really need to assign specific tasks to more crew members. So far, all I've really done is use modly powers to edit other people's posts by accident instead of quoting. I mean, it's not like we have many administrative punishments/public ridiculing to do, considering the application process. But what we DO have to do is the following: Regular Guild Updates and Content (I'd like to see the main page redone, rules thread deleted and rewritten, along with the mentoring. I think we could come up with a better, more useable system than what we do have). Applications. A couple people would be best, I think, because if the one person with access to the samples leaves on vacation, the applicants are left waiting a LONG while. For example... erm, now. Someone in charge of organizational issues, like guild promotion, thread allocation, and contests. Maybe subforums? *puppy eyes + whimper combo* I feel like the guild is becoming lazy. >.>

grawr...school has taken away from my RP planning / writing time.... Feh, I feel like a curse! Every guild I join dies. crying
Yeah, I'm getting pretty close to being done my RP system but I'd like to throw a quick question out here. Who's interested in a D20 D&D campaign....or one-shot dungeon thingy. I don't care which it's just that I don't feel comfortable jumping into already 'active' (if you can call them that) storylines. I mean, I'd join Baiten Kaitos or ToS but I haven't played the games so I've no idea what the backstory or the basic flavour of the game is. But EVERYBODY knows the D&D flavor because it varies from group to group ^_^ YAY! ......yeah what I'm trying to say here is I'm writing at least a one-shot, so does anybody wanna jump onboard?

I'd join it.
I'm not sure how it'd work, but I'd give it a shot.

ValenarrDeMirro I'd join it. I'm not sure how it'd work, but I'd give it a shot. Well Val, it would function like any other oldschool RPG. One person...I'm guessing me since I'm writing it...durh LOL...would be the DM and describe the scene and whatnot and also play all NPC's and monsters. All monster Stats would be posted at the beginning of the game which would take out a small bit of the flavour of the game since the unknown adds a sense of danger. Of course, with this dice system you sacrifice all of that don't you? Essentially you do RPing until a fight arrives and then you simply post accurate descriptions of the results of the roll. The bright side to all of this is that the basic elements of D&D can be played this way. If you've never played D20 Dungeons and Dragons before, don't worry; it's probably the easiest of the systems to learn and memorize and it's fully modular with other D20 games...well, for the most part anyway.

Seems fun... get on it, Hobo!
I might make a loosely-diced system of stuff... Dunno. It takes some fine-tuning, and more work that I really feel like doing most of the time...
