hikaru_shidou33 Rani shook her head and picked up the dishes. "That's ok I got it." she took the dishes to the kitchen then came back to sit next to her. "So... how are you feeling?" Marjorie nodded at the 'i got it' before replying."A bit better thank you.I would have preferred a warning though but I guess thats what I get for going into the woods alone hm?"She chuckled softly.

Rani grinned at her. "Well you see most of the people I feed off of tend to struggle against me and I have to get ahold of them fast and calm them down so that I can feed. You however were a speacial case, you seemed to relax almost instantly after I sank my fangs in. By the way I mean to ask you when you woke up, why did you say that I couldn't take much blood from you?" She asked, curriousity practically dripping from her voice.

hikaru_shidou33 Rani grinned at her. "Well you see most of the people I feed off of tend to struggle against me and I have to get ahold of them fast and calm them down so that I can feed. You however were a speacial case, you seemed to relax almost instantly after I sank my fangs in. By the way I mean to ask you when you woke up, why did you say that I couldn't take much blood from you?" She asked, curriousity practically dripping from her voice. (Im sorry i ahve to get to bed!Hope your night is peaceful and day kind!) Marjorie nodded."Oh yes that I just have a small heart condition is all and if I get too much adrenaline and panic it spazzes ."She shrugged."Nothing too bad.So i have always wondered."She leaned forward a bit."What DOES blood taste like to you?Like do people have different tasting blood or what?"She couldn't help be curious about these things.

Rani nodded at her explination then she burst out laughing at the bombardment of questions, she held up her hands. "Hold on, hold on one question at a time. Now as to your first question.. to me blood to me is like water to you just thicker and with a much stonger taste like a strong wine that I can very easily get kind of drunk on. And as to your second question.. yes people do have different tasting blood, some have a more metalic taste, some have a bitter taste and some are very, very sweet tang to them."

Rani smiled and closed her eyes as she licked her lips as if she were remembering something pleasant. "Your's was sweet with just a fain hint of metal in it."

Rani's eyes snapped open to look at Marjorie. "Yes I do.. why do you ask?" The house was one of those three bedroom houses with two bathrooms, one in the hallway and one in the master bedroom, a kitchen and a livingroom.

She jumped not sure why she had snapped her eyes back to her like that."Oh no reason I was just wondering.Do you have any pets?If you don't like being alone you could come stay at my place i have a spare bed?"

"I do have a cat but he's out right now." she said as her eyes drifted to Marjorie's blind eye and reached a hand out to it. "How did this happen?" she asked concerned.

Ilumina woke a few hours later, her clothes rumpled and her hair sticking out at all angles. She glanced blearely at the last mirrior she didn't put up in the ballroom. 'Might as well set it up now.' she thought. Groggily, she sat up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes. Climbing out of bed, she lit a candle and padded down to the ballroom, her feet whispering on the cold stone floor. When she finally got there, she placed the last mirrior in a place so it would catch the moonlight that splashed in through the vaulting windows. The light zigzaged around the large hall and lit up the crystal chandelier like it was made of silver light and rainbows. She had made it so the mirrors would not be blocked if anyone walked by. Ilumina nodded, satisfied by the effect. The room was lit up so much that she could see the painting on the ceiling. It was, ironically, a painting of the creatures of the night. Pookas, goblins, and vampires were to name only a few of them. A slight movment at one of the windows caught her atention. A large, green, glowing moth was hitting up against on of the windows. Curious, Ilumina crossed the room and opened the window. The moth fluttered in and alighted itself on her outstreached fingers. She took it as a sign of good things to come, listening to the wind play with the crystal structure above her and chime in agreement.
