Emma pushed herself off the bed. "Goddamnit," she whispered as she stood. She stumbled to the door and gripped the frame, keeping herself upright for as long as possible.

Legolas came back.
"There are many srange things in this forest, and I have just experienced one of them. Those weren't Frodo and a few other people, they were apparitions. I do not know what this means but we must prepare for the worst, Frodo may be dead." He told Emma.

Emma closed her eyes. "Oh my God!" she said. She lost her balance and started to stumble backwards into the room. No, Frodo was the only hope to keep all those survivors from the attacks on civilizations alive. she thought. She started to cry as she finally stumbled all the way to the bed. "We must not give up hope," she stuttered to Legolas, "We must never give up hope."

"I wasn't saying he wsa dead, just a possibility that he is. I have seen many apparations in my life and most of them meen that the person I saw was dead. But a few were just tricks of the forest or a warning sign of some sort. So there is a posibility that he's dead, but he could be alive." he told Emma. "I won't give up hope though. You're right, we shouldn't lose hope until we know for certain."

Frodo sighed. They'd done much walking in silence and it was beginning to bother him. All he wanted was to be in Rivendale, the only safe haven he knew of. He turned to watch the two girls he travelled with. Both were avoiding each other. He sighed again then looked up and that's when he saw it. A river running before them. He smiled. They were almost there.
