"The Kurogane has been good to me as I suspected. Training Huh is that right.." Deane started. Bounced from one colony to the other as a weapon this should be a fun life.Deane thought as he continued. "It will be a pleasure searving you. I guess all those solutes werent for nothing." Deane said laughing and scratching his head. "One thing though could you show me to where I'll be staying I'm tired and I just want to get some rest." Deane lied, he just needed a quite space to think. He would never be a better pilot without better weapons that was a given, and since the chances of that were slim hed have to check out those books later and form some new strageties strageites better that what the UED could come up with. Seeing as he was one of their prized possesions Deane knew he could figure it out.

"Alright." Elzam said, and took him through a few corridors, and into a two-bunk room. "Here is where you and Ray will be staying." Elzam said, and took him inside.
After Deane got aqainted with the room, Elzam started to leave; "Deane, I know that fighting in the war sounds fun... it's not. I plan to go against the General's orders about bringing you and Ray back... He'll just want your gundams, and use you as his pawns..." He said, with a wave.

((When deane was thinking about it being fun he was being sarcastic. new edit)) Deane listined to what Elzam said but Deane already knew these things to be true. Deane stood up straight and gave one final solute. The next attack he would be ready. As Elzam left Deane pulled out the intel and hid it with a book from the library like george had done. Deane changed the blue print of the strike gundam, after he finished his work by renaming the blue print strike freedom. After he tucked away the intel he began studying with the book he had been using for cover this time on tactics instead of the gundams themselves.

((Ah, but, Elzam gives that little speach about war being fun to all of his new recruits.))
Elzam turned toward the door, and opened a keypad next to it, and typed something in... Then, on the door, the words: 'Ray Gausse and Deane Asguard' Appeared on a small section of the door. "Good. Now, to head back to the bridge..." Elzam said, and started to head back...

The few days before the attack passed quickly for Robert. In between all his training, he had gotten his best men ready for the frontal attack: Emyr (who had proven himself as a very good fighter); his second-in-command, Li, who used a white Taurus and was a good strategist; and a few other of his best LEV pilots. The total group amounted to two Gundams and five LEVs, and that was just the welcoming committee. If he confirmed the Shift's position, then he'd have a whole battalion of Suits coming to seal the deal.
"Kinomoto, please report to the bridge." Robert put down his weights and wiped the sweat off before pulling his uniform jacket back on. He walked down the hall to the bridge with a spring in his step. Today was the day, he could feel it. He entered the bridge and there was his Commander, standing tall and stern as always, looking at a huge ship with a drill on the end through the monitors. He turned to Robert. "Ah, Kinomoto, you're here. Good." He gestured at the screen. "As you can see, the Kurogane is in our sights, and we just need you and your team to flush the Gundams out of hiding before we attack. Are you fully prepared?"
Robert glanced up at the screen. Beyond the ship he could see the Langrid point they were making for, still a few miles away. He looked back to Briggs. "Yes sir, we're all set."
Commander Briggs turned back to the monitor. "Good, mobilize as soon as you can."
"Yessir." Robert turned on his heel sharply and left the bridge, heading for his crew station. He reached it and snatched the intercom off the wall. "Special force, this is your captain speaking. Report to the crew station at once for debriefing. Prepare for attack status." He clipped the speaker back on the wall and banged open his own locker. He clipped the cuffs of his jacket down so they wouldn't get in the way of his controls, but left it unzipped: a guys gotta have some style. He smoothed his hair back as best he could, and threw his helmet on a bench. He then stood at the front of the room, cleared his throat, and waited for his crew to arrive.

The Kurogane was within viewing distance of Langrid point, but, in Elzam's heart, something felt wrong... "Sir? You look uneasy." Eita said, looking at Elzam. "Ah? It's visible? Well..." Elzam looked around, and paced a bit, "The UED hasn't attacked yet..." He stated, "I'm worried that they plan to strike soon." "So, should I scramble the mobile suits, sir?" the comm officer asked. "Yes... That sounds like a good plan, Eun." Elzam said, "... Call them." "Aye, sir." Eun stated, and said over the PA, "All mobile suit sqauds, prepare for battle, do not launch yet..." Elzam walked over to the comm, and said, "And Ray, I want to see you on the bridge."

Ryn heard the call over the comm, and grinned widely, saying rather bluntly,"The battle begins soon."
He began singing a song under his breath,"Say goodbye! As we dance with the Devil tonight!"
He spun away from Ray, his fingers rubbing against his army knife, and began running for the Hanger. If they really did come under attack, having him out there would be a help. The only problem was whether or not he would be allowed to go. Well if they didn't let him, he'd just switch sides, and blast things to pieces.

"EH?!" Ray tilted his head in gawking awe, unable to take in the fact tat he said all of it so cassually. 'Doesn't he realize that he could've been dead by now? That there might as well could have been problems in his head? Couldn't he have missed any of those times that he might have frgotten during the experimentastions?' And in an instant, Ray came on baraging the guy with these questions, and even more, though all being smushed up as his wordds came to topple over one another, "How do you feel Is Ryn really your namme What have you been doing all this time How did you escape how did you live in hiding?" It all ended in a big huff as he strived to catch his breath. If Elzam and Ryn had such amazing life stories, he'd have to wonder what the crewmen went through as well. Come to think of it, even Deane's life was sort of interesting, and Ray became puzzled on how such people were gathered in a sigle ship. 'Maybe that's the nature of war... twisting and bending people's lives until it reaps survivors to tell worthy tales.' But as he looked up, he felt awkward realizing that Ryn was gone.
The PA, which he hadn't been taking much attention recently, crackled to life, "And Ray, I want to see you on the bridge," Ray stood up from his bench and asked himself what was going on, until he remembered what Ryn told him. Blood rushed to his head in panic and he immediately dashed towards the bridge, wherever that was, and merely speculated that it was the place where he landed his GUNDAM. The sliding double doors opened with a swoosh, and as he dashed in, he bumped into someone large and buff, making him bounce back and almost land on his behind, if it weren't for the outstretched hand that gripped his own when he reached out for ballance. He looked up to see who it was, and saw a grew bearded man with curly top hair over his square head, smirking while gritting a large cigar between his teeth. "You okay, kid?" the man asked, as he pulled Ray back up to stand.
"Y-yeah..." Ray rubbed his nose, trying to relieve himself of the intching pain. "You shouldn't rush like that, or you'll bump into someone fairly quickly," The large man said in a terribly low voice, pointing his thumb upt ot his chest. That was when Ray noticed his orange and white suit, the same as those of the engineers. In fact, he recognized the man's face, as one of the head staff members.

"Wait... I never did tell him where the bridge was..." Elzam said, and spoke into the PA, "Belay that command, Ray, and meet me in the hangar, where your Gundam is." Elzam then went off the PA, and headed for the hangar...

The two came deeper inside, not wanting to block the path in hopes of not wanting to repeat the past incident. As Ray searched the hanger, the memory of floating over came into his mind, and just as he'd remembered, he saw his two feet afloat looking down, and felt somewhat dimwitted at how much he paniced when he bumped with the man, thinking his fall and crash. When he was sitting down, and crossing through the corridors, he was actually floating! The engineer looked at him with a mischievious stare, and gave some hard chuckle at Ray's pndering. With their hands already in a tight grip, he shook them wildly, introducing himself, "My name's Rick, Rick Thompson. I'm afraid I didn't say that back when I was rescuing you from your struggle to fly," Rick imediately let go and started to reinact how Ray was wallowing through the hollow space in sheer fear of falling, laughing out loud.
This made Ray burry his face deep low, flushed red at how naive he must have seemed. Rick's enormous gloved hands landed on his shoulder, patting Ray into comfort, "You're one strange kid." Just then, the metal double doors swooshed open. The engineer looked over and hastily took out his sigar, hiding it from sight, before giving the man who just entered a big grin. Propelling himself forward through Ray's shoulder, he called out, "Yo Elzam! I was just looking for ya!"
"Whoah!" Ray waved his arms frantically through space, looking down deep towards the nearby mobile suit's feet, his face all pale.Apparently, the large manpushed him hard. Rick looked back and chuckled out some more, amused at the novice. "Hey, help!" Ray 'swam' back into footing, breathing hard on how he thought he was going to die, only to cough out as rick hit him by his back, making him bump into Elzam. He immediately let go and made himself 'stand', smiling meekly and raising his hand as to make a small wave, "Oh hi, Captain."

"Ah, playing with the new kids again, are ya, Rick?" Elzam asked with a chuckle, and looked at Ray, and said, "The reason I wanted to talk to you, Ray, was... that we might be going into a battle soon... and... I don't think your Gundam is fully prepared yet..." Elzam took a moment, and said, I'm not sure if you've been told this, but... the General wants me to train you and Deane... and once that is done, to send you to him." Elzam then looked around, and whispered into Ray's ear, "But... you'll just be used as his pawn. I'll keep you here, and when the war is over, I'll discharge you personally. I promise."

Ryn slid into the Hanger, running full speed, and collided with Rick. Cursing colorfully, he pushed himself, up, and said," I knew you would hold those two in the ship in the coming fight. What about me?"
He pulled the canteen from his waist, and remembering what he had put in it by accident, just held it, waiting to be addressed, rather impatiently.

"Ryn... of course. We can use your assistance in the battle ahead." Elzam said with a grin, "As long as your gundam is at top efficency."

((This is in response to Souno.))
The two metal doors slid open as a woman in UED uniform enered, noticing a tired Commander Briggs, rotating his fingers through his temples and his eyes closed, "Commander," she started, walking towards the marble desk.
"Ahh... Rita," Briggs took his massaging actions to a halt, straightning himself up through his chair, and looking sternly at the woman, "I expect that the battle cruiser has been prepared."
"Yes sir. They're all ready," Rita handed the man a folder of all the files of the ship, of which Briggs took and looked over.
"And what about the ace pilot we've been requesting?" He asked, his face covered by the folder he had been scanning. Just then, the double doors opened with a smooth swoosh, and there came the masked man they've been waiting for, slowly pacing towards the Commander's desk, to Rita's right. commander Briggs lowered his folder and came to greet the man,"Welcome to Armory 14 of Langrid 4. You must be Tchai Ete Stanton, I pressume," briggs stood up and stretched out his hand to make a formal handshake, only slightly bewildered at the man's mask.

"The Bloodfin is in perfect condition, as long as nobody has broken anything since I last flew her.", Ryn said, bowing his head slightly, a grin spreading across his face.
"Well since I'll be fighting, I must make sure Bloodfin is prepared. I'll be off.", Ryn said, floating towards his Gundam. Once their he opened the hatch, and slid inside, stashing the oil filled canteen in the edge of the cockpit, while he carefully ran a systems check.
