I like the first one, don't apologise. xd It's something I would wear. smile
My inventory mainly consists of MCs, so I'm not surprised. The reason why I wanted a TekTek was because I want an idea of some more commons to buy. >__>
I like them both but the top one is my favorite because, it's a lot more cluttered. xd xd I love clutter. redface The second one is cute and matches nicely, I understand about the shoes.

XD As far as recommendations for commons, you do have a lot of nice items to work with already. o: I think s'more basics would be good.
Buy a few longjohns. x3 And the leather belts are always a nice staple. And the winter socks are very nice. ^^

On the whole, I never suggest anything outrageously expensive...
And, well... my value of "outrageously expensive" starts at a very, very low number. XD;;
Anyway~ I think the best thing is to always say, "Hmm. I have one green head item and one green skirt. A pair of shoes that same color green would be good. ...And then you have three items that you can mix and match with other items to make a lot of different outfits. x3
Rambling... sorry... *finishes reading the post*
XD Well... I'd have to give a technical answer on that. The bun has one color, while the streak has two colors. I always think about matching. It's easier to throw in one color to match a hairstyle, than to always have to throw in two colors...
Buuut~ I think the streak is fun to wrok with because you have the challenge of two colors. :B

Hello again!! I was thinking: those seal slippers are pretty cute...should I get them? I probably won't for a while ( xd ) but could I get a couple of tekteks to see what they look like?
