Shana thought for a moment before getting an idea. "Wait here!" then as suddenly as she had spoken up, she had run off somewhere. Just as quickly she returned with a glass filled with water. "Will this help?" she asked while tilting her head and tentivly holding out the glass towards Akira.

"....th-thank you...." Akira took the glass of water, sipping it slowly. "....s-sorry for b-being such a b-burden...." She whispered with a sigh.

Shana tilted her head the other way at Akira's comment as she watched her take a drink. "Burden?" she repeated before reaching up to adjust her floppy hat. "You're not a burden, what makes you think that?" she asked as he pale blue eyes watched Akira through her black bangs.

"...ah...um... it's nothing...." Akira replied, taking a seat as the nurse handed her an ice pack. She placed it softly against her bruise, sighing a bit from the coldness that numbed her skin.

Khyn heard her name called by a somewhat familiar voice but she didn't turn to look. She took a long drink from her can of tea and turned into her 4th period class. She propped her bookbag next to her desk and sat down, waiting for the class to start. She sat there, pretending to be completely absorbed in reading the can's label.

Username: Lucifer Moloch Name: Horatio Megalos Age: 17 Sexuality: Straight Species: Timekeeper Appearance: Horatio His eyes are an enveloping black, which he often uses to calm people down. Personality: He is quite goofy, and strives his hardest to lighten moods. No one has ever seen him cry, or be sad, because he can take whatever comes his way. Whenever need be, he can be protective, supportive, intelligent, or whatever else the situation calls for. The only time he has ever been seen in a negative mood is when he thinks he's alone and stares off into space, a hint of pain and remorse on his face. Bio: Horatio was born into the excluded family of Timekeepers, those who control the threads of time. His father and mother were less than supportive of his attempts to see other people, as they were in an enormous forest in the middle of nowhere, and the fact that they were unable to birth another child. On top of that, he never paid attention to his studies and always wanted to play. But one day, they received the miracle they had prayed for. They had another boy. Soon, Horatio was left alone and he never really saw his parents again. In fact, he thought they forgot about him, and when they did, they referred to him as 'the other boy'. So, Horatio left his home and stole his father's staff in anger. He was found three days later, and his father only took back his staff and left Horatio in the forest. Horatio, ten at the time, decided to leave his family and find a better family. Along the way, he discovered he was the son with the power that the family had wanted. He could control time without the need of a staff for support. So, Horatio continued through his travels and found another family to live with, this time, a family of poor farmers. The two elderly couple spoiled him and smothered him, let him play with his friends, everything he had wanted. Eventually, his old family learned he had the power they desired and tried to get him back. When Horatio said no, they attacked him. The only problem was Horatio was already more powerful than them. He shattered the Timestaff and beat his old family until they left him alone. Horatio continued through his life until his new parents died peacefully in their sleep. Horatio then traveled more, and found an apartment where he lived alone and using his abilities to balance school, work, sleep, and freetime. Other Info: Owns a '59 Chevy Impala.

Shana tilted her head a little as Akira sat beside her, but decided not to ask anymore about it. "Hmmmm..hey Akira, would you like to do something after school, or are you busy?" she asked as she rested her chin on her hand, watching her place the ice pack on her bruise.

Confused by Khyn pretending to not notice, he follows her into her 4th period class. "You know," he begins, "We're going to look awfully silly when they find out I'm not supposed to be in this class. Well, I'll look silly. I'll have you know that I'm not the kind of problem that goes away if you ignore it long enough." It was at this exact moment when the teacher took one good look at Fiasco.
Her voice quite melodious as she said "Mr Fiasco, I appriciate your eagerness to learn and show up to class early, but I believe your a couple hours early. If you would be so kind as to come back later?"
Fiasco looks up at the sound of her voice. "Of course. But you may not have the pleasure of having me on time." Turning to Khyn, "Dropped this on the bus." At this Fiasco rose from his chair, and casually tossed Khyn's ID on her desk. "Another time I'm afraid." He smiles at her, and under his breath, just loud enough for her to hear "Lunch mayhaps?" He walks quickly out of the classroom. He takes his time getting outside the school to meet Donnigan.
"Ahh, Fiasco. Pressing buisness attended?" He accosts Daren.
Fiasco smiles, "Not your concern Donnigan. Now, these thugs, or gangbangers. What have you. I don't know their whole story, I do know they have this extreme distaste for excellent pie. Their blatant assault all but confirms that." His sarcasom dripping into his voice. "One of them is hurt, nothing serious. Broken noise, cracked ribs. If I get to the others, their were four by the way, I imagine it could cut down the likely hood of them harassing the lovely couple that owns that diner."
Donnigan stares at Fiasco, and with trepadition in his voice "You want I should stay out of the picture? Is that what I'ma reading offa ya? Their dangerous, lad. You opend the can, and now you want to stir it up some? How can you be sure that their are only four? Could be double that."
Stareing off Fiasco tosses back "I aim to shake that can. I'm not ruffleing feathers here. I'm plucking. Give me three days. I'll have them apolagizing by the end of the week."
The police officer breaths calmly at Fiasco's words. "I'll give you three days. I'll push for four, but no promises." Donnigan turns and walks across the parking lot to his car.
"Thanks Donnigan." Fiasco trudges into the school. Imagineing just what he got himself into.

Horatio woke up, tired. He looked at his clock. -"Crap. It's already 4th period..." In fifteen minutes Horatio was riding down the street, driving faster than the speedometer said. He almost hit several cars and pedestrians on the way, but didn't actually hit anyone. By the time Horatio got to school, it was almost like he had his own police escort. Except they were chasing him. After another ten minutes of yelling, explaining, and receiving a ticket, Horatio entered his class late as usual. His rather attractive female teacher turned and glared at him. -"Let me guess, Mr. Megalos, your dog ate your alarm clock." Several students snickered, while Horatio didn't. -"No, my python did. Then he ate my brakes and he's about to eat my speeding ticket." Several more students began snickering, and Horatio took his seat. There was an awkward silence, so Horatio decided to break it. -"Oh, by all means, don't let my small interruption keep you from teaching your pointless class to fund the meaningless existance known as your life." The teacher's lip began to quiver and all the students in the class began to laugh. The teacher ran out, and several students began cheering. -"How many teachers does that make? 2-3 a week?"

Hands shoved deep in his pockes, Fiasco walked down the now empty hall. Quiet as a tomb except for the crying of a woman. She ran right by Fiasco without takeing notice. He simply shrugged and walked on. He had other problems to work out. He got to his 4th period class to find the teacher was gone. Wait a tic. She just ran by. "Not again." he mutters quietly while rolling his eyes. He takes a seat at the back of the class, and waits silently for the bell.

Fiasco slugged through the day until lunch started. Ahh lunch. He headed to the cafeteria and made quite an effort looking for Khyn.

Akira sighed, moving the icepack to a more comfortable spot, "......I'm....." She sighed once more, furrowing her eyebrows, ".....I'm going to go visit my..... my..... my p-parents....." She coughd a few times, covering her mouth with a hand.
