Aubry easily dodged it, but was glad that he had used his ears to go straight towards him.
"you know, it doesn't always have to be a death fight..." she said quietly. "and you don't always have to be the best..." she added, even more quietly.

"i didnt always have to be the best!"Xantos shouted angrely, "I WAS THE BEST!". he finished. he swung wildly, hoping to hit somthing. but all he hit was air. he sank down to the floor. sorry for what he just said. he didnt mean to yell at her. its just, hed been heatly his whole life. he was the best at what ever he did. and now he couldn even land a blow! he was so distrought.
Xantos stood up. and droped his blade. "im gong to bed." he said weirly. he then trodded out of the room. feeling for the walls.

"Xantos..." Aubry whispered. she started to cry. she crumpled on the floor she was so depressed. she thought that traing him was a good idea. she took off the hankercheif to find Riane watching.
"i thought it was a good a idea..." Aubry said sadly...

Xantos got to his room that hed been in for the past week. he went next to the bed to sit down, but instead, he hit the floor. after he hit the floor, a tear rolled out of his eye.

Aubry decided that enough was enough. she got up, and walked into Xantos's room.
"Xantos!" she said sharply, but because she had been crying, it didn't sound as sharp as she had wanted it...

Aubry couldn't stand it anymore.
"i haven't left your side for a week, and when i did, i was either worring about you, or making teas to make you feel better! and all you do, is feel bad about life, and think that you don't want to live anymore, but you keep going because you know that you have done too much to cause the rest of us pain! i understand that! just stop thinking that you are alone! we are here to help you!" she was crying now, but she did't care. and then she became quiet. "just be who you were. please..." she then sat down next to him, and started to cry openly.

he let her head rest on his shoulder. he was silent for a few minutes. his only reply was, " ok " . just gimmie a week. and ill be better, ill be back to where i was before. i need to be. so when you guys need help, ill be there to help. and this timewhen i was crying, it wasnt becuse of alot of things that are usual for me to cry about. it was the fact of i was good enought to protect you guys, now i cant even protect my self."

she sniffled.
"srry... it was just. i haven't had a good night's sleep since we were back at school, and i just had so much stress on me. and i just let it out..." another tear went down her cheek. she looked up at Xantos and smiled. "even if you can't see, you have beautiful eyes..."

ooohh.. how he wanted to kiss her, but he couldnt becuase if raine liked him then he might hurt her feelings, and he didnt know what he was feeling. he didnt know if he wanted to kiss her. relly he had no clue what to do. its just what he thought would be best at this moment.

Xantos liked the thought of that. sure, just one thing, ive never been to a movie theater, and another, im partially blind, so i couldnt see the screen, even if i tryed. and the bar would be nice, but when i get drunk, i get relly drunk. but its up to you. and im sorry im so hard to please. its just my nature.

"how is that disrespectful to me? i think it is a good idea!" she smiled. "We should ask Pablo and Riane before we make any final decisions... they have been getting more than what they bargained for..." she got up, and helped Xantos get up as well.
