tankbbg I know just how you feel...more so maybe... I have 8 classes. Calculus AP Spanish 3 AP English IB Honors Orchestra AP/IB Bio (2 freakin' years!) AP/IB American History (took AP gov and econ last year) AP Music Honors Academic Decathalon Dude, I totally feel your pain. I'm also a member of '07! O SEVEN!! We graduate the same here. =D Aw, you get to take Calculus this year? You're so lucky. I have to wait until next year, and it's not offered at our school so I have to dual enroll at FSU. Explain this Academic Decathalon to me.

Aca Deca is like where you study a certain random subject this national org. gives you (This year it is European Renaissance) and you go compete in several different categories including trivia, speech making, acting, creative things like Destination Imagination. It is just this big, gigantic competition. I;m just a glutton for punishment... sweatdrop

I am studying something totally unrelated at present. Mechanics must be just about the most boring subject ever from where I am sitting but at least I am moving out of my comfort zone whilst learning something useful. It seems like an eternity since I last did any competition so hearing about 'Aca Deca' seems a bit foreign to me.

Well, taking all those classes and challenging yourself shows that you like school. I love school, I can't get enough of it. Doing work, and striving to get all A's is just something to do with my time. I want to go to MIT and be an astro-physicist. My fall back university is UNC, UF, or maybe New College.

That sounds like a bit of an ambition. I don't know if I will ever be published but at least I can relieve myselfof the characters that cry out in the back of my head wanting a place on paper which makes all of the difference to my sanity. 3nodding I don't mind learning anything that tides me other in the 'dry' months.

He sat in the circle of people. They had all had there turn, and now it was his time. He fidgeted in his chair for a moment, looking at his name tag [AKA Zero]. He stood after the few seconds of time he could delay was spent. His forehead moist with sweat, his eyes squinting back at all the onlookers sitting in their metal folding chairs, his jury in a sense, the ones that would reject him, or deny his presence. He swallowed hard, then spoke.
I am AKA Zero and I have been a writer for about 2 years. I write mostly present day science fiction, or mildy historical japanese samurai short stories. I write mainly in my spare time, but I find that when I write I can't stop, I guess that's why I am here. Becasue I am a writing addict.
He looked at the staring faces, all of the sympathetic of him, he sat down, with more of a calm then when he had walked in.

I adore school as well. I'd like to return to college, but I can't afford it right now so I'm working full-time until I make enough money to go back. I hate taking out student loans. I'm mired in a huge swamp of student loans as it is. sad If I could, I'd collect degrees just for the fun of it. heart

I live in Melbourne, Australia, and have all my life.
I just went to Japan for a holiday 2 weeks and 3 days ago, and
am back now, as you can plainly see! ^^
