Neo Gaian...that's a new term.

Why yes, it is. Since I made it on the spot to describe them. Cause my perspective and Shadow's neither are gaian by default.

But they weren't gaians originally, but they migrated here from their forum/s of origin which happened to be the same as us and we knew Gaians that came there to fight us and they were called us, now that they're here may as well call 'em something. *shrugs* Just my opinion on the matter.

It's going to continue until someone knocks Shadow out of the tournament. I suggest you get used to it...

That will take longer than knocking me out most likely...

Well that was rather annoying.

I could say the same, whomever you are.

And thats when Fantasy RP is ruined...

When everyone has to be judged by one universal standard...I have an idea, keep your opinions as yours, and let them keep them as theirs?

For the record though, I have absolutely no disagreement with either definition of it, but I do have an issue with Shadows application of it. If he had waited a while, allowing the chaos to amass itself subconciously, or something like that for a prolonged period of time, then by all means he should be able to dissociate all matter within that arena.

Yet, as it stands, he simply states that what he is doing is uncounterable through the given means (a "well" for the energy, that in all plausibility, could be viewed as absorbing the explosion...not just what was in the area of them), and personally, I think that the well idea was good.

So your attack didn't work, isn't good roleplay about planning ahead and not pull an "O @*@!, my plan didn't work...but it should have...so it did!"

To bad this strategy's been working. *shrugs*

And you don't know me, no offense. But I'd argue with them just to spite them.

Opposite sides, and have been for months.

One more thing, just cause I'm sick of the "when fantasy is taken from Rping" jazz cause I think you might be smarter than these people who constantly argue the same thing in order to try and win over and over again...

There's still fantasy, it's just implementing one thing from the real world that can be beaten. You just got to know how it works, and if someone doesn't that's there problem.

Would you accept it if someone said it was fantasy, and the laws of our universe didn't have to take place, and decided to re-structure it some crazy confounded way would you accept it? I personally think you need to think about that one. It's not like we're saying Mana and Magic isn't usable or anything. *shrugs* That's just how people seem to take it.
Ahem...

Basically, you're telling people that in order to win, they have to be able to fully comprehend the second law of thermodynamics and other theories that are currently incomprehendible? In what could potentially be little time they have? Maybe just a few hours?

That's really, really cheap.

Me? I'm just someone that's been in the tournament from the start, has a few characters here and there and just hoping for a good time. And I can say the only time I enjoy an arguement is when it's with the person I'm fighting in a thread and just trouncing them based upon reasoning.

Other wise I'm just here to chat. So beyond the b***h fight, that's what I'm going to call it, how are you?

Toward the pikmin dude; I couldn't really understand what you just typed there, so I'll just nod and smile. 3nodding

Now then, as to "the fantasy from RP jazz" or whatever it was you called it; Ianex might've misread your point when you told Cziri to "use your definition" of chaos. I agree with both of you; with Ianex that universal laws and physics shouldn't be forced upon everyone. And with you, that when YOU are the one casting, YOUR system should be the one used to judge. Provided, of course, it isn't broken beyond all reason.

@ anyone: what DID happen to Ertai? Haven't seen the bugger around for a while...

Just like people who expect others to understand the concept of non two dimensional planes which is technically another part of the existant realm that controls a different part of it, in MINUTES, or the relation to the fighter and Ki, in MINUTES, or how magic and mana works, in MINUTES.

Like I said, not my problem. I learned how it works in a few hours and cause of it I'm fairly compitent in it. *shrugs*

Ianex

As stated, I am completely okay with him doing what he is doing, just for the sake of balance, I feel like it should take a little longer than...two posts? To completely vaporize someone till there is nothing left of them.

I applaud you, but normally that can be the issue. This time I belive the opponet in question continuelly failed, and another issue is that the concept of Chaos Control in this manner is potent enough since most attacks are charged and held then released. *shrugs*

So, for personal reference, and to directly change the subject. How do you all address interrupts?

Say for instance, I go about stating an attack, and then state several more that will follow it up.

My opponent then addresses a defense to the first attack, and makes an attack of his own, thus nothing else I posted happened or started to happen, as my opponents action takes place before my next, correct?

It seems like this needs to be clarified for some people, as the question has arose multiple times.

At the current moment, I don't think anyone knows of what happened to him. I'm rather interested to find out, though...

If you ask me Shadow, you should just go ahead and post that huge thread explaining your use of chaos.

And his attacks are very blockable, just need to know how to.

And just as Vexic said about his psionics, 'Just because my opponent's characters doesn't have the abillities to block my attacks, doesn't meen I shouldn't be allowed to use them.'

Point is, if you want to beat Shadow bad enough you will do what you need to do. If not, sucks for you. . . I for one haven't bothered with Shadow very much, and I simply fought him with the element of earth and did just fine. I actually could of taken him at one point but didn't want to end the battle. That was at least 6 months ago, and he's far better. But now I actually found a way to fight chaos, and it was by accident. It took me a full 10 minuets to figure it out, now all I have to do is let my character learn how to control it, wich he's working on.

This is rather amusing, I have to say Pik is very amusing.
I'm going to stay up late again to complete my exercises, you a*****e.

"@ anyone: what DID happen to Ertai? Haven't seen the bugger around for a while..."

Likely depressed in some corner...According to what I recall Gel saying, he'll be back in a month or so, exactly the same as before, despite anything he says about leaving.

I really like the fact that, after entering this tournament, I've actually gained more gold that if I hadn't.

Even if I loose, I'm up nearly 6K so far.

Oh, and I just totally remembered my character can FLY. Awesome!

That's how I go about it. Most of my opponents have always complied. I think I've got one or two that didn't...eh, it doesn't bother me too much unless it gets to back and forth nagging.

Simply enjoying the random talking. A.K.A. what you call the "b***h fight." What about, you?

Been there and done with that arguement thank you very much, would, could, won't. Why? One, they're gonna impose their system on me, it's how the game works. Two, if anything compromise should be allowed, but it should be a fair one. But if we can prove our points effeciantly, why bother?

That would be the basic jist of it. But what you can do is just block his attack and go about what you were doing before if you are still able to.

Really what te interupt is supposed to do is prevent people from taking too many moves in a post. Your opponent isn't just going to stand still while you do something.

That's why description is important because in most cases a post and the responce to it are both happening at once.
