I went to a party last night where almost everyone was hooked up and I was one of two single people there, which only reminded me how alone I was. I would've been okay had not someone told me that I am "third on their list" of important people. Which hurt way more than that person is aware of.

o.O Top 3 isn't that bad. It's pretty good. I'm pretty sure my family comes before friends and lovers. So... That'd make them like fourth or fifth or something.

I come after a month old boyfriend and month old friend... when I've been a friend for like 2 years. I mean I was probably aware of the fact subconsciously but I didn't need it shoved in my face.

Lovers tend to take priority over friends, so I'd assume that's automatic, but I'm diplomatic with these kind of lists and have separate lists for different types of relationships. biggrin
I ask you now, what could have the month old friend done to be so important?

I dunno... I guess they just kind of clicked. The thing is I'm okay with being third, really I am. I just didn't want it shoved in my face... and told to me twice... I could've done without that.

I try not to make those lists... the only real list that I have is the people who share names... and then I just list them by what time I met them. ^_^

Meh, I don't mind the list, I'm sure people are always going to hold certain people in higher regard than other. I just think it's really rude to actually TELL people where they are in the list.
