Mother ********.... Hey guys, I've been downloading some files for the past who knows how long, and I accidently clicked the "Do this Automatically for files like this from now on" box when it was still on "Open with : Windows Media Player" Now whenever I try to download an mp3, it opens right away. Is there anyway I can revert that, or make it so I can choose which I want to do?

On a Mac you can ctrl-click on the file you'd like to open and set the preferred opening application. smile

Eh, I was debating whether to come into this thread- then I saw who posted and I thought; 'Man, Alcoholic Pancake and Aretoo in one place? I can't miss out on this.'
Ape, I should think that you could change that setting by going into the options for Windows Media Player. Or, somehow get access to that same options box by downloading another song.
Or just deal with WMP popping up unwanted for the rest of your life. Or throw the computer out the window.
See, you have tons of options! biggrin
Edit: @Aretoo- Wait... Doesn't the fact that he has Windows Media Player dictate that he shouldn't have a Mac? ...Or am I confused?
Or has Mac buckled made the strategic decision to allow Microsoft software on it's system?

Fixed it. I had to press a little button i the options menu which I could hardly see, then it opened up a thing that let me clear my choice and redo it so the little options box would pop up again. Yay me... Yeah, anyway, it's fixed, and I'm running Windows btw. This is my new gaming computer that I'm on, but right now I'm just using it to get my grubby little hands on some VG OSTs

If the latter has a soundtrack, which I'm fairly sure it... might. >>. Yeah, I'm not too sure of anything after all the strange things I ate today. I'm in odd sorts.
New gaming computer= ******** YES. Heh, wish I had something with a bit more kick than this little baby E-machine, but untill then I can... uh... play Zoo Tycoon. Whoo.
But guess what? In March, you'll get to play SPORE.
*This is the part where you get really excited. If you're into that sort of thing.*

A NEW BIONIC COMMANDO GAME! ******** YEAH! What!? No Portal!? Are you telling me you have enough hardware to play that game and yet you aren't!?
Anywho- Bioshock, I read about that! I've had tons of people tell me it was nothing but fantastic. D:. And yet, augh, I'll never get to play it. Not untill I somehow get my hands on a better computer.
I'm not sure about the game you linked me to... it seems from the site that it will have a great sountrack and graphics will be nice, but the scenery and mechanics look like they might get boring fast. If you're going to throw in a whole bunch of awesome features, it seems kind of silly to make the use of them tediously repetetive...
Then again I might just be a pessimist. xp .
That, and when I swing off a rope/cable onto a platform, I want to keep my forwars momentum, dammnit! Not just stop in the air and float slowly towards the ground! That's the most frustrating thing I've ever had with video games so far.... ><
Oh god, it sucks to be a video game nerd five years behind the consoles and seven years behind the computers. gonk
Edit: @Aretoo- no need for appology, I was able to occupy myself with this
I love Robocop even -more- now. XD

Bioshock rocks. I already beat it on my cousin's 360. Same with Portal. As for not knowing what Bionic Commando is, SHAME ON YOU! It's an old NES game, and old one that I've made my b***h for years.
