 Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius Shikarama breathed heavily, looking down into the water as he stood over it. It seemed he had managed to win. He waited for his friend and sparring partner to return. A few moments later, a beetle landed on his arm. He glanced to it, thinking nothing. Then, suddenly another, and another landed on him. In a matter of moments, he was being quickly enveloped by a swarm of insects. He had some difficulty to avoid panicking from it as crawled over him, trying to invade his crevices and envelope him. It took him a few moments to realize it was a genjutsu. He moved his hands to form a seal and cease the genjutsu. However another attack was already underway. From all sides, the water around him rose up into numerous drills, striking at him from every direction. Shikarama acted quickly, grabbing a sealing scroll with the mark for water written on it. He formed a hand seal and the needles/drills of water were enveloped by a thick vapor from the scroll. They were drawn into it and sealed, canceling the attack. Logan had reappeared behind him. He moved in, directing a series of quick strikes at Shikarama. Shikarama himself turned to face his opponent, ducking and swerving back, desperate not to let the Hyuga touch him. A single strike from the gentle fist could end the match right then and there. Shikarama jumped back, forming hand seals. He landed back on the surface of the water, and as Logan tried to push the offense, Shikarama exhaled a large cloud of ash at Logan. The cloud would smell of gunpowder. Shikarama couldn't see Logan's position, but he knew it would force the Hyuga back, given the fire chakra that was flowing through it. Shikarama took out two chakra blades and then quickly slashed them across one another, creating a spark that ignited the cloud. The ash exploded, glowing brightly as all inside would be terribly burned. As he expected however, Logan had managed to avoid the damage. He had descended below the water again to escape the blast. Shikarama could note, Logan was surprisingly slow to how he had been before, as if he were weighed down by something. Logan Hyuuga, the Blue Byakugan ((Appearance: He has very large blue Byakugan eyes which appear to lack pupils. He wears a cloak, pants, gloves, a shirt, four scarfs, and a mask. they are all black and made of special materials. These clothes make it so only his eyes can be seen.)) Logan had been knocked down below the water's surface, the impact disorienting and his form hidden below the surface now. He looked up towards Shikarama, acting to regain his composure. Logan chose to act while he was still hidden. He quickly formed hand seals, and cast upon Shikarama, the Bug Paranoia genjutsu technique. Shikarama, once effected by the illusion, would find himself quickly swarmed by insects crawling all over his form. This genjutsu held onto a near universal distaste humans had with insects. in general, ecspecially in swarms. It would best with one whom was phobic to them naturally, but against someone like Shikarama it would at least provide a small distraction. Shikarama appeared to be shaking and shifting lightly, seeing, feeling and dealing with the many invisible insects that had attacked him in his mind. Logan began moving to the surface, forming more seals. Shikarama had formed a kai seal for himself, as he took control of his chakra flow and stopped it, dispelling the genjutsu. That had given Logan enough time to follow up with another jutsu. Water Style: Water Fang From the water around Shikarama, numerous masses of concentrated water formed and shapped into conical drills. With that Logan surfaced behind him. Shikarama was clearly thinking quickly as he managed to seal the attack in a scroll. Logan continued the assault, moving in for a series of taijutsu strikes. Logan's movements had been slowed, however, by the weight training he was now undergoing. There were weights set in numerous places under his clothes. They would slow his movements down and reduce how much force he could apply, for now at least. In the process, though, he would get stronger and faster, his muscles developing more. As a taijutsu user, this would be one of his most valuable gifts. Shikarama moved back from the Hyuga forming hand seals and landing. Logan moved in, not intending to give him the chance to strike. Shikarama managed to release his attack, though, first. He expelled a large cloud of ash at Logan. Logan had been engulfed in it, the smell of gunpowder heavy within, and fire chakra flowing visibly through it. Logan had little choice as Shikarama grabbed his weapons. Logan disabled the water walking technique and let himself fall into the water, weighed down partially by his weights to allow it to happen faster. from above, he heard the clanging of metal and saw the spark of the blades form. This spark ignited the ash cloud and set it aflame in rapid succession. The burning quickly exploded outwards, and the effect would readily burn anyone caught within it terribly. Logan formed seals before reemerging jumping above shikarama and throwing a series of shuriken at him. Shikarma responded in kind, meeting Logan's Shuriken with his own. Logan landed back as Shikarama and he faced. They would end the sparring match here, with one final technique. Shikarama raised his hand out and began to gather chakra in it, forming a rasengan. The child's left eye started to twitch a few times as she watched the two males in front of her. Honestly she was starting to conciser if she was the more sane out of these two however it was just a passing though. The idea of going back to seeing how the veil began, and who created it was a tricky situation. There was a risk of see her own gods there, or another there. If so would they be made for more beings to come and take a gimps of the lands that where made from them or would they be forgiving and accept that it was just curiosity. ' Fenrir will forgive me. ' She thought while nodding her head. 'After all Fenrir was released during the chaos just before Ragnarok, where gods of Asgard will be killed. Lord Fenrir will swallow Odin during the battle,..' She thought while tilting her head forward a bit. Of course her kin would see this as a helping matter. She was sure of it.
Suddenly the girl was startled, jumping a bit when she felt a hand covering her eyes. She must have been lost in thought of else she would have noticed the light haired male attempt this. With his hand covering her eyes she couldn't help but to glare in to the darkness. His scent was not very easy to smell, getting a whiff of his very being and even a tip on his own health. Least to say the male was an interesting being, no matter how much be annoyed her. Still the man was having a good intentions, and seemed to be wanting to generally helping them with this matter. Any help from a non human was the best of help at this point, no matter how predigest she might have been from that thought. “ Wait, what do you mean too late?! " Mashira yelled as she listened to him speak.
Guess it truly was too late as soon she felt her body feel a bit off, causing her feel a bit queezy. Before she knew it though the man's hand was off of her eyes, causing her to see a strange sight. At first everything was blurry to her vision but as her eyes adjusted the young girl could help but to stare ahead in shock. The world appeared to be the same, in some ways, however it appeared as if there was a war of some kind. In the middle of it was a giant man who appeared to be battling a eight legged beast of some kind. The strange demonic beats seemed to catch her eye, causing to stare at with in awe. “ He's beautiful," She said, not caring if it was the wrong choice of words for the beast in front of them. To her it was an amazing creature in appearance and thus that was all that mattered to her in those few seconds.
Once she was done admiring the said demonic creature the girl could only turn back to face the two males. “ Can I keep him or is this one of those don't touch or else you will cause horrible things to happen to the future type of deals? can they see us I mean?" She asked while lifting up her chin, trying to get in a good smell of this place. Everything smelled the same as the old village but some how more pure and oddly enough held more destruction in the air. ' Huh, who could have guessed that Hidden Leaf has less then this place,' She thought as she started to slowly crack her fingers. She wanted to be prepared to have some type of defense if something was to attack.

Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius And just like that, they stood there, both of them on the surface of the water. In each of their hands, rasengan were forming. It was one of the most powerful forms of melee chakra shaping. Just as Logan formed the spiraling sphere, Shikarama did the same. They both held open their palms and let their chakra flow readily to their hands. It exited the chakra points of their body and began to spiral upwards, following the natural rotations of their own chakra systems. The chakra was growing dense as it gathered, dense enough to produce light visible to the normal human eye without a dojutsu. The chakra for them each appeared in their particular color and tint. As it gathered, it started to spin. The chakra first formed a spherical shell. Then it began to flow and gather within. It would rotate inside, growing more and more concentrated as it was gathered within. Finally, as the rotation grew continuous and controlled, and the shell stabilized, the rasengan for the both of them had been completed. These techniques...they were a perfect demonstration of their level of chakra control, for the Hyuga, as well as for Shikarama himself. He and Logan had learned to form and to perfect the rasengan, at least he believed. But even deeper then that, they had learned to control their chakra and concentration to a level that even some jounin were unable to reach. His chakra flowed through his system exactly as he willed it, to his arm and into his legs at the same time. Through the chakra points in his feet, chakra readily flowed. It flowed out over the soles of his feet, forming a layer. The layer acted as a counter-example to the tree climbing technique. Whereas the tree-climbing layer was formed to attract and attach to the surface of an object, the water-walking layer was formed to repel the surface, using a stronger flow of chakra to do so. At that, the water's surface tension and one's level above the water had to be monitered. The flow of chakra had to be adjusted to it. And they stood their now, doing so without thinking about it, all the while, producing a rasengan. Then Shikarama took a deep breathe, watching Logan carefully. The air around them was thick with chakra and the wind was blowing as the spheres in each of their hands glowed. The water rippled under their feet. Just as Shikarama had finished forming the rasengan. It was noticeable, even to the human eye, that Logan's chakra was a lighter color then Shikarama's. Logan's chakra had a greenish-blue tint, whereas Shikarama's seemed slightly purple. Just as Shikarama was maintaining excellent chakra control, Logan was doing to same. Though it only seemed natural, given that he was a hyuga and a practitioner of the gentle fist. The gentle fist, after all, required a very precise use of chakra control. One had to be able to direct the flow of one's chakra into one's hands, and then, on cue, release it through the chakra points in his fingers. He had to fire it so it would flow through solid material into the chakra systems below. He had to have careful aim to strike at the chakra vessels and chakra points in humans and the chakra flow through chakra enhanced materials and objects.Of course without the Byakugan, this technique would be impossible. One needs to not only see chakra, but the chakra flow below the surface. And of course, needed with perception was precision and timing. Logan had developed a definite skill in all these areas. Even beyond the normal gentle fist techniques, was the ability to direct chakra into and through any and every chakra point in the body in an instant. The users who mastered the ultimate defensive technique, the rotation, required a mastery of chakra control beyond that of what almost anyone but the elites of the Hyuga could achieve. Beyond this even, was that Logan had managed to combine his elements with the Hyuga techniques. He could transform the chakra into wind or water chakra before releasing it from his hands or his body, to make the jutsu much more powerful and useful. He, alongside Shikarama were proven chunin. As Shikarama displayed his chakra control, maintaining the water walking, and a rasengan at the same time, while keeping his senses well aware, Logan was doing even more. He maintained both techniques, and at the same time, was using his Perfected Byakugan. He maintained, not two, but three different jutsus with ease. And as the two of them stood there, their jutsus going and their battle at an end, there was a surprising calm in the air, cutting through the tenseness. They were allies, and friends, whom had both achieved the rank of chunin, yet there were so many differences in their techniques and styles, and in their personalities and histories. Logan was but a six year old, while Shikarama was 15. One purposely acted to evade the flaws in his clan mates, seeking to disprove them and renew himself and his clan. The other held what could at best be called a tenseness with his clan, due to his parents and his origin. That, though, had no matter to the given moment. Seconds passed, and then it happened. Logan raised the rasengan and rushed forwards, straight at Shikarama. The Nara did the same, though keeping his rasengan lowered towards his shorter opponent. In a matter of moments, the two would clash, and test the full might of their techniques, and the full extent of their training.  Shinobu moved with advanced speed toward the Hidden Leaf, she was going ahead in advance so that she could get things ready for Master Jono, accommodations and for the most part confirming the whereabouts of Momo Uchiha after all they were coming to the village to find her, she was an Agent of Life and Master Jono called her and he wished to meet her she wasn’t sure why perhaps merely because they were opposites of each other he of death and she of life though as sweet as the girl was she hoped this wasn’t going to end in confrontation, though she had a feeling that it was no real chance for peace here after all two forces as fundamental as that in the single place they were bound to clash eventually, and from the abilities that she showed fighting that beast of chaos she wasn’t sure if Jono would be able to win this one… she had to be sure to protect him he was her lord and she was honor-bound to do so. Shinobu stopped at the front gate and approached a pair of Jounin and provided her documents and they glanced them over and gave her the nod, Hidden Katana for the most part was a largely neutral nation, the blades they made and their skill in their use were both large reasons they were valued as allies and feared as enemies. As of now Shinobu wore two blades at her waist both of her own design and both were lethal Offensive blades, her black metal limb gripped at its companion hilt, Jacob’s ladder was made entirely of the same black metal as her arm and had the same abilities and a few more caused by the elements she added with her Katana, she had yet to place a thought onto her next blade it was some time off the making she walked the main streets of the City aiming for the Kage’s building since he was a Kage they would likely offer him a prime estate of residence while he stayed here. She would approach the gates of the building and once more proffer her papers to the guards there who would put her in contact with whom she needed to speak to it was a rather boring process to go through but Shinobu enjoyed doing her duty to her Master Jono, it was her job to do this and she took pride in being good at her job. It was one of the few things she had being the assistant to the Kage of Hidden Katana. Having finally squared away the initial business of her visit Shinobu went about exploring the city… she’d never been to hidden leaf and this was sure to be a very exciting trip she only hoped the excitement wouldn’t get them a bounty on her head after all… bounties were annoying. She looked up having been lost in thought about the Life and Death business here to find herself right outside the range of the two males, Logan and Shikarama, both held in their hands balls of rather potent chakra… surely they didn’t mean to attack each other with them that was foolish, and as they charged Shinobu’s hand grasped the blade and took a battoujutsu stance, she would Body Flicker into range just a few feet from when they were about to clash their Rasengan thrust forward at each other and her blade would tear from her sheathe violently the blade would cut one Rasengan completely in half and then the blade would continue on its path slicing the other one in a similar fashion. Shinobu felt the drain hit her it was certainly a powerful technique… fools. Shinobu would straighten up, surely their attacks being removed like that would cause them to stop whatever it was they were doing, she would sheathe her blade and look at the two of them her one visible eye in an ever present glare, her lips a tight purse. Despite being angry she was beautiful in a way her stern appearance a total giveaway to the fact she was more than a little Tsundere. “You two… are you morons or something?”-3,000 chakra 2 rasengan negated with Jacobs ladder 700 300/300 Body Flicker

Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius In a matter of moments their jutsu would clash, as they brought their hands forward, each thrusting their technique towards that of the other. Then, out of the corner of his eye, Shikarama saw a woman, with dark skin and white hair, come rushing in at them. And then, she drew a strange blade and slashed... not at them, but at their jutsu. Even more amazing her sword cleaved through them with ease. Shikarama stopped in his tracks on the water, and Logan did as well. They just stood there, staring at her for a moment, while she righted herself. She just looked at them, glaring with irrational anger. And then she had the gall to insult them, asking them if they were "morons or something?" Shikarama frowned at this, while Logan stood back, remaining silent. "Of course not, we were just sparring. Now why are you interfering?" His eyes glanced over her, checking for a headband. He then asked her. "Now why are you here, as it doesn't seem like you came to train." He could tell quite readily that she wasn't from the leaf village. He caught a glimpse of what appeared to be a metal arm. He moved to walk to shore, followed by Logan. He calmed himself as he asked, "So what is your name?" He crossed his arms as he turned back to her, a kunai hidden below his sleeve just in case. He knew she didn't seem to intend any harm on them, but it was better to be cautious then foolish. There they were, in that moment among moments, about to clash with the rasengan, among the most powerful of shaping techniques.Then, that woman had arrived, and immediately moved in with speed demonstrating clear skill. She drew her sword, which was flowing with her chakra as she used some kind of technique. Her blade cut straight through the rasengan of the both of them. It chopped them in half, dispersing them. She looked to them with anger, as both Shikarama and himself brought their attention to them. It seemed as if she had thought they were in danger from their attacks. It seemed somewhat silly, as the rasengan themselves would cancel each other out and all that would happen to them is they would be sent flying back. Regardless, though she asked them a rather pointless question, intended to imply they were foolish, when that wasn't anywhere close to the case. Shikarama responded to her "Of course not..." Shinobu crossed her arms across her chest and stared at them, "You really are morons... Two attacks at such a high amount of energy... I bet the two of you thought they'd just counter each other and toss you back a little." she said with a stern tone. "You didn't even think about the recoil of such a strong technique backfiring full force did you?" Shinobu would ask rhetorically, already knowing the answer. "All the power from your attacks you are sent back up your arm tearing all the muscles and potentially shattering your bones. Recovery time would be immense. Potentially over a year. Do you two really think your village can afford to lose two Chunin for a full year over some 'sparring' accident?" she'd continue her tone like that of an upset parent berating their child for some mistake. There would be a little bit of a silence after she spoke, "My name is Shinobu and I am from the Daimyo Clan of Hidden Katana. I am here as an attaché of my Kage, Lord Jono." She would state professionally, holding up her passport, "And as for training... I don't suppose it would hurt to stick around and make sure you two don't blow your own arms off with foolish ideas..." While all her words may have sounded mean anyone who could read between the lines would understand that she was just giving them some tough love. Shinobu stood constantly in a prepared state as she spoke to them hand constantly on the mouth of her scabbard ready to draw the blade at a moment's notice, should they try anything stupid again... for example testing her abilities by throwing something at her. Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius Shikarama just stared at the woman, annoyed. She, clearly having no knowledge of the technique, assumed it would backfire against them on impact, which isn't how the normal rasengan behaved. If that had been the case, Naruto and sasuke would have ended up broken arms when the rasengan cancelled out the chidori. But that wasn't how they behaved. she then went off on a rant of the potential damage and the loss of chunin to a "sparring accident." "That's preposterous. The rasengan doesn't backfire in that manner on impact, otherwise it would cause damage to the user regardless of what it impacted." Of course the Rasenshuriken was another manner entirely, but that was because the amount of power in it being much greater then the rasengan, combined with the effect of the wind chakra. This seemed like a pointless conversation, though. Thankfully it moved on. She finally gave her name, as "Shinobu...from the Daimyo Clan of Hidden Katana." She even said she was an "attache to my Kage, Lord Jono..." So she must have been much higher in the ranks, and probably far better, then she honestly appeared at that moment. And the passport she raised went on to prove it. He raised an eye brow at her comment on their training. "Well, welcome you to our village Miss Daimyo. I am Shikmarama Nara. You don't have to worry about us doing anything stupid in our training. However, we were about to take a moment to rest and recover our chakra..." His expression became more light-hearted. "If you want to stay and talk with us we would be happy to have you join us in training for a little while. And you should take a moment to rest yourself. Whatever technique that was you used must have taken a lot out of you." Shikarama let Logan introduce himself as well, and then took a moment to ask a thought that was itching at him. "How did you know we were both chunin?" Logan Hyuuga, the Blue Byakugan ((Appearance: He has very large blue Byakugan eyes which appear to lack pupils. He wears a cloak, pants, gloves, a shirt, four scarfs, and a mask. they are all black and made of special materials. These clothes make it so only his eyes can be seen.)) Shinobu yelled at them for their attempt to clash rasengan. Though she seemed surely mistaken in the mechanics of the rasengan. It was a more controlled technique then she gave it credit for, and it didn't tend to backfire when cancelled out. Despite the anger in her words when she spoke of potential injuries and the village, it seemed she was doing it out of love. Shikarama responded back to her, clearly a little angry as well. She revealed her passport to prove it. Shikarama then introduced himself and responded to her statement on their training. Shinobu stared at them dully; after all it seemed they were almost not considering the fact that the energy had to go somewhere, not to mention there weren’t even close to the same size, meaning the smaller of the two, Logan, would get the worst of it. Shinobu would stare at them and wonder just what it was about boys... that aggravated her so much. Though these two seemed to soften once they knew she wasn't there to start a fight and courteous enough for her to notch them up a mark in her books, though the question about the drain of chakra made by the technique of hers interested her. "Not so much as you'd think." she said relatively bluntly but made her way to a nearby seat and promptly seated herself crossing a leg over her knee and leaning back, “As for how I know that you’re Chunin it’s all really quite simple.” she’d start with her direct speech patterns, “I am the attaché of a Kage. It’s my Job to prepare things for his arrival so I was of course obligated to investigate the full roster of Shinobi your village had to offer should my Lord request a liaison from your village as a guide about the village.” She said with simplicity in her voice, “I was just on my way to look at the housing they have provided my Lord for his stay here when I stumbled upon the two of you’re here practically sprinting at each other and trying your best to get yourselves hurt, so I quite summarily intervened as any responsible person would have.” she said with more blunt wording. But the technique they were using certainly was something interesting, it was strong it had taken a large amount of chakra to cancel them out as she had… though it looked simple enough to do perhaps she would try it out at some point later in her time here looking at the two of them they had given her both their names and she would nod her head in return, “A pleasure to make your acquaintance on this day.” she would say for the first time Shinobu was actually being straight polite with them. Shinobu took manners and such very seriously it’s why she gave her name without hesitation and appreciated the way the two of them reciprocated with very little hesitation as well. It seemed the two had a handle on things but she doubted things were all that sound in the planning stages with them. It would be a constructive use of her time to look after these two after all they seemed nice enough and she hadn’t had a good spar since her Kage had given her that thumping but the exhaustion and the battle had given creation to the Sword at her hip which sliced through their techs like a hot knife through butter. Perhaps one of her future battles would see fit to give her the inspiration for her next blade. Shinobu glanced about and she couldn’t help but note that it really was a beautiful day here in Leaf, the birds were singing the sun was in the sky there were a few clouds but they only helped to relieve the heat of the sun, and a wonderfully warm breeze was sweeping through the area. But it made her wistful for her own village, she wasn’t a Daimyo by blood but she had made the place her home over the last few years, even gaining the attention of the Kage to the point he made her his assistant and she accompanied him to the Kage Summit where the assassinations of a few Kage were discussed and she saw her mortal foe for the first time in a long time… then the battle with Chaos… and all the tasks that took her time over the few years since then and now she was here, maybe she should try to become a Chunin herself she was more than able to become one now. In fact she was strong enough to be a Chunin at this moment she sat on the bench… Looking at the two Chunin in front of her she would suddenly hold out in front of her the black Metallic arm of hers, in the palm of her hand there would be an undeniable shift as she concentrated her chakra there, as she did it though the metal began to gain a deep crimson-red iridescence to the metal as they saw it in a slightly different light. Though in the palm of her hand chakra materialized and swirled and condensed, in a few moments the unmistakable glow of a Rasengan flowed from her hand as a perfect specimen was created in the palm of her metal hand. 37,600/45,400 Chakra 800 + 1000 = 1800 300/300 Body Flicker 1500/1500 Rasengan

However, at this point, discussing this subject was pointless. It seemed as well that it may only lead to hostility. The Sword-wielding girl responded bluntly to their comment on chakra drain. “Perhaps, but we would still be fine with your company if you sit with us. ” He smiled lightly and walked after her as she went to sit down. He followed her example. He heard the weighted steps of Logan as he follow, and glanced back to the small Hyuga. He nodded lightly to the explanation Shinobu gave. It did make sense. He ignored the more irrational part of her comment. Her gaze seemed to be shifting to her surroundings as she was apparently in thought. “So, for what reason have you and your Kage come to the village? It would seem like a fairly long way to come for leisure, ecspecially given the preparations.” He looked with interest then as she raised her hand out towards them. She appeared to be concentrating. She was emitting chakra and he could feel it. It was also growing so thick she could see it. It was flowing through her metal arm, making it glow blood red, and in her palm, chakra was gathering, rising up to form a sphere, similar to their own. She had only seen the technique once, and she had managed to figure the mechanics and form it herself. He had to admit, that was impressive. "Only seen it once, yet you were able to recreate it. I guess we are pretty good teachers." He joked lightly. The Rasengan had taken him a few hours to learn and replicate. Logan took a similar time as well. Then again, they had never seen the real technique. They had to learn through books and scolls for the basics of it. "It would be on honor to see what the ninja of hidden Katana is truly capable of." Shinobu went to sit down and Shikarama followed. Logan himself walked after they had taken a seat at sat down to the side of them. She took the time to explain the reason she knew of them. It made sense. Though Looking over the whole of the profiles of shinobi seemed a bit excessive, even if it did accomplish the given task. After all, just about every ninja of chunin or higher could be picked from the roster to know a lot about the general territory of the village, given it was the place they were assigned to serve and protect. She went on to tell them about what she intended, before the found them, making a comment on her thoughts on what they were doing, to the hidden displeasure of Shikarama no doubt. She then greeted them back, given Shikarama's earlier introduction. Once that was done, Shikarama decided to ask her, "...for what reason have you and your Kage come to the village?" And meanwhile the katana wielding ninja would raise her arm. From it her chakra flowed, visible without his Byakugan and made it glow. It glowed red as if it had been heated, and from the palm of the metal hand, a rasengan formed, perfectly well, almost as good as their own. Logan glanced to Shikarama, and his eyes said it all, even as he added words to it, a joke in fact. Even if her direct observation had something to do with it, it took talent to learn a technique like the rasengen so quickly. Shikarama said to her, "It would be on honor to see what the ninja of hidden Katana is truly capable of." Logan couldn't help but agree. The best sort of training tended to be sparring as it required the real world preparedness. Logan nodded lightly to the suggestion. The girl in fact seemed interested.
