"Who says we must be productive?" Baizou asked, playing with her ear absently.
Tomo beamed proudly, "I am!" He said, resting a hand on his stomach. "I'm starting to get excited, actually."

Ellie shrugged, and laughed. "I don't know... " she swatted his hand away, then held it, and put it back to her ear. 'Sorry, instincts... Hehe."

Richard nodded. "I can imagine. Boy or girl?" He asked, trying to determine if the lad's differences would be passed down or not. He almost hoped they would; Tomo was a fine specimen, a rarity if he really was human.

Baizou smirked and stopped playing, moving on to scratching it. "What ever you want to do, love." He said with a shrug.
"Girl," Tomo replied, leaning against the bar as he mixed his tea. "Can I get you anything, sir?"

Ellie reached up, pulling a straw out of a jar on the bar. She peeled the paper off of it, and rolled it into several small balls. With precise aim, she flicked one at Tomo, and hid the rest, continuing to mingle wiht Bai. "So... Umm.. Maaaybe... Oh I don't know." she crossed her arms with a "hmph'.

((Okies)) Richard nodded thoughtfully, taking the offer as an end to his questioning. That was fine with him, he didn't want to become an annoyance. "Scotch if you will, I'm not in the mood for any food." He smiled vaguely. "Lot of interesting characters running around...who all lives here? What races are they?" He asked, always curious about people. He rarely met up with the other scholars, mostly because they were starting to make him feel uneasy. He missed Rachel though, and considered writing her to tell her he was fine, and about the wind sprite he had met a few weeks ago. But no, it would have to wait.

Baizou followed the paper wad with his eyes and snorted, smirking. "You are evil, love." He chortled.
Tomo got to work on the scotch and touched his cheek after the paper collided with it. He looked around, but didn't see it, so he went back to getting the scotch and placing it on the bartop. "Let's see... We have neko, kitsune, elves, humans, angels, creations, mutations, robots, and various crossbreeds in between."

"What about demons?" asked Ellie, then sitting laying back, catapultiing another paper wad in his direction, this time aimed at his pregnant belly.

Richard blinked. "Goodness...I may be here for awhile then." He picked up the scotch, looking rather thoughtful. "Thank you...everybody fits in one of those categories huh?" He looked amazed. "And to think, I thought this place would be boring."

Richard smiled and looked over at the woman, sitting next to the one he had seen yesterday. "I've met quite a few of those myself..." He said, grinning.

"Well, Kaen is technically consi-- What the hell?" Tomo turned to face the couple after the paper bounced off his belly. His ears were folded back, but he burst out laughing, "You two..." He looked to Richard and nodded, "There's always something going on here so make yourself at home."
