And that's a rather good point, it's always hard to forget the people you met when you first started 3nodding

Uh....hi. I'm new here......I'm not really good with introductions ^^() Though my avi is a girl I'm really a guy. In body anyway..... *sigh* It's a long story. Anyway, my question to you all is if this place is safe and the people here are really caring.... When I'm at school and at home I've always got this hole inside me. And it hurts whenever I think about wishing for what I can't seem to do. I guss you could say I want to be loved unconditionally. The thing is I'm the oldest of two, and my parents are always busy..... Sorry to be all depressy, but it feels a little better to get this off my chest nd talk to someone about it. I hope I can make some new friends here. So....anyway....how is everyone doing?

*comes in flustered*

Wow those join requests were being neglected...I just looked at about 60 requests or whatever. gonk

Then a few people were saying stuff about how Christians are homophobes in their requests...but don't they understand that not ALL Christians are like that? stare

I mean, I'm Christian, but I don't hate gay people (in fact I love them heart blaugh *huggles Rope*)

But yeah...just had to let that out.

I hate to say it, but gay people can be just as prejudiced as straight people some of the time. I know quite a few who absolutely despise Christians of any sort, and I can't help but be wary around the majority of them, because of the kind of Christians I've known for most of my life. Sure, I have plenty of Christian friends now, but for awhile I didn't even want to talk to any of them. Takes time to get used to it, I guess.

Dred Lily - This is a safe place and I've always found the majority of people here to geuniely cae 3nodding *hugs* Hoping that you feel at least a little better after getting that bit off of your chest.

Taro - Well, there are several questions I've seen that don't get answered. I'm not saying they all have to be, because that might be a touch unreasonable, but I was just responding to what someone else had said with what I saw as a completely valid answer.

But the fact that some, the little few who AREN'T that way about homosexuals, are being stereotyped. cry
PostPosted: Sat Apr 01, 2006 10:54 pm

Well, stereotyping is wrong, but almost everyone does it whether or not they choose to admit it. Sure, there are Christians who aren't against homosexuals, but what most people see and hear about are the ones who are. Kinda like you only ever hear bad things about the ghetto areas of big cities so you can't help but freak out in them, even if the people are nice to you.

It's a crossed wire in the brain somewhere, I swear.

I know I share that same prejudice, and sometimes I forget myself, but I try to get past it. the same goes for republicans.

Just to start up some sort of conversation (and a little bit out of curiosity xd ). For those who this applies to: what was your first same-sex relationship like? Good, bad? Amazing, sucked?

I haven't really had one yet... what I thought was one... I guess wasn't, 'cos she wasn't that into me and had her mind on someone else. But what was she to do? She'd asked me to the opera two weeks in advance... and I thought she wanted more. Not even a kiss... just awkward talks. Ah well.

My first relationship was... awkward, quite a bit on the awkward side. Neither of us really knew what to do, so not much happened at all. I didn't even fall in love with her, a few things just kinda sorta happened. Never wanna do that type of relationship again for so long as I live.

God! My first was in my bedroom. My brother was downstairs watching television. We were both too scared that my brother was gonna come upstairs that we kinda fumbled around. There was a lot of blushing, teeth clinking, and nervous giggles. It wasn't fantastic, but I wouldn't change it for the world.
