Ellie laughed, still comfortably in his lap. "It's okay. You kind of smell like me. It's tolerable." seh said, blowing a rasberry on his stomach, pulling up the bottom of his shirt.

Richard smiled. "I study the races and spiecies of Gaia. So I travel alot." He nodded. "It's an interesting field. I'm somewhat of a scholar..." He added, straightening his tie.

"What brings you to the life of a traveller?" she asks Richard politely, smoothing her skirts out again. Sapphire shakes her head. "Technically I cannot either, however, while I am out of residence I prefer to keep my name at a limit. Things have already turned wrong on different aspects of that. Thankfully, I have a way around this, by getting another manner of succession." Sapphire says sighing.

"That sounds incredibly interesting," Lady Crystal said sitting back in her seat, sounding genuinely interested. "Do you study the humanoid races or just the animals? Or both?"
"To be able to choose life as a commoner or nobility, and to go back and forth betwen them. You truly lead a priveledged life, Miss Sapphire. Though I cannot but wonder if your subjects are paying the price for it."

Sapphire shakes her head. "They are not my subjects my lady. They barely know of my existence. Anyway, this converstation depresses me. I must go and check on my cow and the owners pig, if you'll excuse me my lady." Sapphire says with a nod of her head and a slight curtsy heading thorugh the kitchen and out to the barn. Once there she breaks out in laughter.

"Humanoid races" He nodded. "I am not alone in it, we form a group of scholars, known as the 'Sentient Being Researchers'. It's rather diverse. I've been troubled recently by the amount of segregation that seems to go on today...for instance, me getting chased out of town. Not all beings can defend themselves, and we worry that members of races unknown to us could be killed off. I've set out to find a few of these, though my search hasn't turned up much. Most are races from other planets." He nodded.

Ukaia came downstairs. Dressed in a plain black top and a skirt. her hair free around her body.She stiffled a small yawn streching as she headed for the bar to get something to drink

Baizou squirmed again, tail twitching. "Fair enough." He replied, stroking her hair back.
Tomo walked in through the front door in a light jacket. "Mm, beautiful weather." He said, "Afternoon, everyone!"

((**snicker** klutz makes me happy....i had meant to come back sooner, but i was hijacked for a con meeting....of which i am apparently now in charge of))
Kaen waved at Sapphire as she emerged from the kitchen carrying a plate of food. She sat down with it and picked up her chopsticks and started eating, watching those around her.

"Good day to you, Miss Sapphire," Lady Crystal says, nodding her head to the exiting wolf-girl. "That sounds like very noble work, Mister Richard," she said, standing. "I would love to hear more about it, but I wished to see what the town had in the way of specialty stores and I fear they may close before I can examine them if I do not leave soon." With that, she curtsied to the people in the room. "I wish you all a pleasant day." And stepped outside, walking towards town.
