Soon after giving her boyfriend a kiss, Suijin broke away to look at him and smile. She felt a little embarrassed and nearly apologized, but there really was no reason to. She was allowed to kiss him if she wanted to and she probably didn't do it enough. It just wasn't like her to show affection so freely, so maybe that's why it was kind of embarrassing.
"I...like you, Shiro." Suijin said. That was something else that wasn't done enough. She was sure that he knew she liked him, and vice versa. Even though it doesn't really need to be said, she just wanted to assure him.

Once the kiss ended Shiro just looked at Suijin as well, he couldn't help but smile, and was even a little red. He really wasn't use to her showing affection like that, and was the one who'd scoop her up for a kiss at random. But he liked it, a lot. She did look a bit embarrassed though, which was really cute. "Heh heh heh, I know honey. And I like you too, I like you a lot...a whole lot." He looked down a bit, it was his turn to be a bit embarrassed, so he just hugged her tightly.

"That's hot." Yami snickered as he rose from a shadow a few feet away from the couple before letting out a yawn. His hair was even more of a mess than usual and a hint of drool rested at the edge of his lips; clearly, the man had just woken up. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand while scratching his head with the other. "So the train isn't running?" A bellowing yawn escaped him yet again. Yami was having trouble keeping his eyes open and himself from falling over, still groggy from his excessive slumber.

Suijin enjoyed the affection given to her by Shiro who held her in his arms, and she was getting quite into the romantic mood. She was wondering if it might go further than this but she won't know tonight as they heard Yami's voice. She was surprised and jumped away from Shiro. She wanted to yell at the intruder for appearing all of a sudden but decided to keep cool.
"No," Suijin replied to Yami's question, "not until morning..."

((Just when it was getting gooood xP)) Shiro's heart was beating faster as he held Suijin looking at her. Here in the moonlight, all alone. Maybe this would lead to something, the words they shared earlier buzzed in his head. But anything that may have happened wasn't gonna happen anymore, as Yami popped out of a shadow as Shiro had feared he would do. He liked Yami enough, but man this was terrible timing. The worse in history. All he could do was look at Suijin apologetically, and sigh. "What she said...damn man."

Yami let out a slightly awkward giggle as he patted Shiro on the back. "Hey. Your fault for not letting me solo this." He nugded Shiro lightly in the side with a friendly smile. "I won't keep the two of you from delighting in your carnal desires any longer." He turned away and nochantly waved to them as he sunk into his shadow. For only a moment, a frown rested across the man's lips. No one enjoyed being a third wheel, Yami was no exception.
He returned to the vehicle and laid himself down on the floor, but had trouble returning to sleep's warm embrace and so he found himself deep in thought.

"Wait-!" Suijin yelled out to Yami but it was too late as he already disappeared in a shadow. She was going to suggest that they go to the hotel and sleep, but oh well. It returned to just her and Shiro once again. Although their friend suddenly appearing killed the mood, some feelings still lingered inside her. Suijin smiled at Shiro and slipped her hand into his. The loving couple took a stroll through the town as they talked until they got to the hotel. There were just rooms with one bed available, and they each were given a room. They went to their rooms that were right next to each other. "Well... good night." Suijin said as she slowly turned the key and opened the door. She regretted that they didn't get to go any further and was half hoping that Shiro would sweep her up right then and there.

((aww, Yami's sacrifice won't be forgotten!)) "Hey Yami come on it's co-" But it was no good. Yami had turned away and vanished into the shadows, and Shiro couldn't help but feel kind of bad. It was true that Yami had interrupted a romantic moment but it really wasn't his fault. They did leave him all by himself after all, he was bound to pop up eventually. Even though he felt bad for Yami being left out, it was nice to be alone with Suijin again, and while Shiro wasn't sure it was a good idea to approach her romantically again she slipped her hand back into his and he smiled with her. From that point on the night went well, the two talked and laughed and were cuddly close as they strolled about under the moonlight all the way back to the hotel. This was the end of their night, and as Shiro and Suijin went up together to their separate rooms, he could feel his heart pounding faster, thinking of what could have been. He was a bit nervous about it, and while it never got to that point of confirmation because of Yami's interruption, the direction they were headed was pretty clear. "Y-yeah. Good night Suijin. See you in the morning..." He said, looking down, heart about to jump out of his throat as he watched her opening her door. His mind was buzzing and things seemed like they were in slow motion, her door slowly closing. His breathing hard his heart like a drum, his blood rushing, just as her door started to make contact with the door frame his hand shot out and kept it from closing. He didn't say anything, and just pushed the door back open again. He scooped Suijin up in his arms and kissed her deeply, he felt like he was on fire, closing the door behind them with his foot. Sometimes one simply has to give in to animal instincts.

The morning sun shone through the window and the warm rays crept its way around the room until it reached the sleeping couple. The warmth and brightness woke Suijin and as she sat up, she also remembered what had happened the night before. She was about to close the door but Shiro stopped it and in a fit of passion they made love. Thinking about it made her chest tightened, her face felt hot and she smiled. She couldn't believe that it happened... but it did. And it must have been good seeing that all their clothes were strewn across the floor, as well as most of the pillows off the bed, and their hair were silver tousled mess. She looked at the man next to her sleeping soundly and woke him up with a kiss. The two started their day with a shower and then some breakfast, as well as getting some to give to Yami in case he hasn't eaten yet. The couple then went to the station to see if the trains were running. Though, they then learned that the trains weren't running, especially to Esthar. They had to get there though, there were no other ways to get there except for that bridge. "Looks like we'll have to take the vehicle across." Suijin suggested.

(( awwww yeah cool )) Shiro was sleeping soundly, a warmth in him and a smile on his sleeping face. Feeling Suijin's lips on his he awoke to see his lover with him, and everything from the night prior came rushing back. He looked around at the mess they had made of the room, and blushed lightly as he kissed her back. Last night had been a long time coming, pent up emotions coming all out at once, a fiery passion that could have burned the hotel to the ground. Through the rest of the morning Shiro couldn't keep his hands off of her, hugging her every chance he could giving her cheek and neck little kisses as they walked around causing the young couple to get a few looks here and there. He was a little red every time he looked at her and smiled brighter than usual, even when they learned the trains still weren't running. "Hmm, Esthar via prison vehicle. Sounds like fun."

Suijin blushed and smiled as well every time Shiro showed some affection. This kind of behavior was fine when it's just the two of them, but it shouldn't go on when they're around other people. Not too much, anyway. The couple made their way back to where they left the military vehicle and Yami with it, "Yami? We brought you some food." Suijin called out to their friend.

Yami was sprawled out on the floor of the vehicle, drool trickling out of the corners of his lips. Deep in slumber, he was awakened by the calling of his name. The drowsy man rose and opened the back of the vehicle, peering out to be greeted by his friends' faces. "Oh hey there, you two. Thanks." He held out his hand to accept whatever food Suijin had been kind enough to bring him.

Suijin handed the bag of breakfast food to the sleepy Yami that held out his hand. She didn't know what he did when they were apart until then, but she figured he was pretty hungry. As he ate, Suijin went to the side of the vehicle and faced their surroundings, and began to stretch thinking about the long day ahead for the trio. She knew where they needed to go and what to do, it was time to stop fooling around. She stopped stretching and looked again, staring at the scenery but not actually paying attention to anything. Yes, this will be hard, and she hoped they'll be prepared. The silver haired girl returned to the others, hoping they're ready for the day ahead as well. "The trains are down for the time being." Suijin informed Yami, "Are you up for more driving?"

"Up for it or not, we don't really have a choice. We should take shifts, it's kinda far by car isn't it?" shiro said as he watched Yami eat his food, looking at his breakfast hungrily. He'd already eaten his own breakfast with Suijin so he shouldn't have been hungry, but sometimes it seemed like the concept of food was enough to make him hungry, he was rather simple sometimes. "We're a whole day behind, I hope the little one is alright..." He said as he looked out in the distance, thinking about the little energetic girl that had been building straw forts with him only a day ago. He didn't know what she was doing now, but it couldn't have been good. "She's probably scared...she's a tough girl though. Full of grit, I'm sure she's giving them hell." He said with a small smile, more trying to convince himself than anything. He'd only known her for a bit compared to other people, but he liked Bryni, and considered her a good friend. A good friend, and just a kid, and he couldn't protect her. He couldn't protect Suijin either, they were only together now by chance, having been thrown into the same prison vehicle. Clenching his fist the more he thought about her and all the others imprisoned, he punched their transport suddenly leaving a small dent in the thick walls, jumping into the back. "Let's not hang around for much longer. I'm sure they know by now that they're a few prisoners short, we're lucky they haven't come for us yet."

Suijin was a little startled when Shiro punched at the vehicle, but she could see that he was becoming frustrated with the situation as well. Suijin got in the back of the vehicle and sat down. They should start in the next few minutes when Yami is ready. "I think it's about 8 hours to cross the bridge." she said, regarding the time it takes. And it's true that the army will come looking for them, either the Galbadian army or the Esthar army will find them on either side of the bridge. They're bound to run into one of the two and will have to fight their way through.
"Let's get started, shall we?" Suijin said, looking at Yami who looked to be done eating. Yami nodded and jumped up, ready to begin. He hopped into the driver's seat and drove off once the other two were settled in the vehicle. It was a long and boring drive, but the three of them would have a casual talk every so often to interrupt the silence.
They reached the town that lie in the middle of the bridge, Fisherman's Horizon. Just in time too, since they were needing gas. As the vehicle was getting filled up, Suijin got out to stretch. They were doing great up until then, but someone nearby said another vehicle was approaching. It was another Galbadian car like the one they were using. It stopped and about 10 soldiers stepped out, and they all lined up facing the three students.
"This is your last chance to come quietly." the red soldier in the middle said to them, as the others held up their guns, ready to fire.
