It even felt a little comforting in a weird way… Tora was lucky she was her though: if she was anyone else, the martial artist would have probably placed her elbow in their gut or headbutted the back of her head into their face. It wouldn’t have been nearly as nice as a greeting. “You’re still as cheery as usual, Tora…chan.” The girl commented after she was let go as she patted herself off. She couldn’t bring herself to drop honorific like she usually did when they were younger. It felt, embarrassing, for some reason… And it felt really embarrassing for her to be called by that cutesy nickname again. “Anyways I should be asking you all that! How did you get here, when did you get here, and why are you here!?” She of course wouldn’t answer if she was searching for her or how she knew she was here. Just the thought of confessing that a dream brought her here was almost too much for the girl to stand… Still, she couldn’t believe how much her friend had changed: she had gotten taller, and definitely a bit bustier than she last remembered. Minori Koroko  They had been able to escape. Barely. The blond could have sworn that if they had taken five more steps, she would have collapsed. The muscles in her legs were pleading for her to stop and breath...her whole body was aching...and the fresh gash that crossed her shoulder and dangerously neared her chest stung intensely. For now, all her thoughts were in surviving: get out of danger's way...get just one second to breath. And they did find it, as the berry haired young man and the blond girl finally found a little corner between the Book Store and the other building to hide. Out of sight of the demons, Minori let out a sigh, her back leaning into the dirty wall. Green eyes turned to ashen ones, and she managed a weak smile, almost as if saying 'we did it...that was close.'
Still, there was no lightness on his gaze as he looked at the bloodied shoulder, and the crimson rivulets dripping down her arm. Immediately he had torn a piece of his shirt and pressed it against the wound to stop the bleeding. "Genji... I'm fi-" The girl grimaced then though, almost folding into herself. That wound had been deeper than what she had thought at first. With the adrenaline washing away steadily, her brain alerted her of the gash with painful signals.
She didn't even try to finish the sentence. She knew better than trying to lie to him. She wasn't fine. She would be...and she would be able to continue fighting once they had wrapped the wound, but... right now...a part of her just wanted him to tend to her...let herself be taken care of by him. If only for a little bit. He worked silently, and she noticed how his cheeks colored a deep red when he exposed the skin of her shoulder to have better access to the wound. Seeing him like that, she couldn't help her own cheeks pinkening, her own eyes shifting away from him, shyly lowering to the ground. He worked, and she could have sworn she heard him gulping...were his hands shaking? Or was that her?
Her gaze turned back to him when he spoke up again, looking at his face as he worked on the bandage on her shoulder and arm. He stammered....he sounded nervous...he circled around his words. That...that wasn't like him. Again, she remembered what he had been trying to say before, and decided against it. He had teased her about it...and again, she wondered if he was going to do the same. Though...something told her...he was actually going to say whatever was on his mind. "Y...yes? What is it?" she managed, a soft chuckle escaping her despite herself. "Breathe Genji... you are getting me nervous too." Min added with a smile, her hand taking his softly.
Why was she short of breath? Was that the loss of blood? No... was it the nerves?  Haruna Kageki After waking up from her cat nap on a tree branch, Haruna skillfully jumped down before letting out slightly strained moans as she stretched her arms high in the air. Alright, back to looking! Feeling that the nap was just what she needed, the girl began leisurely walking in a seemingly random direction again in attempt to finally find her sisters. However, while walking she found a similar looking talisman to the one she picked up earlier. A collector's item? Maybe I can even sell a few I don't need in the future!
