Xiu immediately enveloped the other ghoul in a hug, noting that she still seemed a little jittery at...well, at the yelling that just happened. Understandably. "Yeah, I guess it's over, huh? We should hang out some time!" She gestured towards the camera she had left on the table, and then grinned. "I'll send you the pictures sometime, okay?"
A quick look around determined that Shun was standing nearby, and the Baku directed a wave at the reaper, stepping back from the lupine so that he could escort her back to the dorms. "I hope you two had fun today!"
To Mot, Xiu responded to his smirk with a wry smile. "So I noticed. Let me know when you leave so that I can say a proper goodbye, okay?" She paused, staring at him thoughtfully, "Though you'd best leave soon. You look tired, and I'm not sure dozing off near a Baku would be a good idea." She fluttered her fingers teasingly, but suddenly frowned. Wait, where was Lizzy--
--...? Whatever Lizzy and Mac were talking about, it looked serious. Best to not interrupt them.

"Because I won't be able to stand losing you later."
Lizzy's whisper...well it put him at a standstill. Up until then he was doing alright, resisting a flinch or any urge to snatch his hand back; he was hurt, oh was he ever hurt, but she deserved to have a little bit of a say, he supposed. Everything up until that point, he was doing pretty good with taking what she had to say in stride.
"Lizzy, I can't guarantee you a happily ever after, nobody can." He said softly, his anger all but extinguished. "I can't promise what'll happen tomorrow, or next week or month or year...even ten years from now." The Reaper was starting to sound defeated; there was little he could do right now, this ship seemed to be sinking already. He knew himself enough to know he could be brash and his temper was a ticking time bomb sometimes...but he obviously wanted to try. Why else would he be frank and bare his soul?
"I just really --"
Mot's yell startled him, and the little Mouse's subsequent reply...just....jack, there wasn't anything that worked right, was there?! Sigh. Well, it was obviously fate. Lizzy was too sweet for him anyway, he should just...tell her to give up and go back to Mot. He'd get over it, just...step back and wipe his hands clean of this whole mess. He was too tired for this right now, everything was staring to hurt too much and it just...wasn't good. Not good at all.
"Just know I'm willing to give it a shot." He finished lamely, his words clearly just not agreeing with the conclusion his brain had drawn. He really couldn't just leave it with so much bad blood, not after he stripped the walls in his defence system! His gaze tore from Lizzy just long enough to look at Mot, who was slumped in his chair against the wall.
"But I do think you should take him home, he looks like he's about to pass out." He was quieter now, flat voice; the anger was gone, the sadness was gone, he was just....there.

Mid-dance, in the midst of the first and probably only dance Moure and Danny would get actually, it seemed someone decided to come interupt them. Moure looked up, confused for a moment as he heard Roch's voice call out to him. (He assumed it was for him. After all, Moure hadn't seen Christof anywhere...) "Something wrong, Roch?" He asked as the reaper got over to himself and Danny. Then, the reaper had spoken again, requesting they switch/trade dates.
...Wait. Trade dates..? Why did Roch want to trade dates? Moure's expression was pretty much simply confusion as he tilted his head at the punk-dressed boil. (He would have adjusted his hat at this point in time, but Danny had stolen it already.) Something seemed a bit off about the boil...was something up? Moure decided he wouldn't figure it out just by staring, so he asked. "What? Why? Is something wrong?" Probably not the best question to ask Roch, but oh well.
Moure looked back to Danny, his face falling a bit. Moure was ashamed that he'd been such a bad Escort for her this evening. He was determined to make it up to her too, but he couldn't do that if he date-swapped with Roch. The patchwork really didn't want to fail at this Errand. No, it was more that just an Errand. He was failing at being a good friend to Danny.
And there was no way he was going to let himself fail at being that.
Plus, Claire and Danny were in the same building, so escorting them home wouldn't really be any different, no matter which ghoul was with which boil, right?
As such, Moure looked between Roch and Danny again, his expression almost a tad forlorn. "I don't really want to trade dates, though...I've barely spent any time with Danny at all tonight, after all. It's up to her if she wants to trade, I suppose..." Moure gestured to Danny, looking over at his date and trying not to look too sad.
Well. Moure was just having the weirdest Prom ever, it seemed.

Nodding to the Baku quietly, Shun glanced between her and Mot before turning around towards Lizzy and Mac. Something seemed to be going on between those two but it wasn't his business. After watching them for a bit, he looked back at Mitsu.
"Ready to head out now?" he asked her quietly, being fairly patient here. The reaper wasn't sure if she wanted to say bye to the other two, considering how they seemed a bit busy at the moment. Either way it didn't matter a whole lot to him.
In any case, for now he just sorta gave a half wave to Mot and Xiu.

Mot waved to Shun and Mitsu as they left, then settled his hidden gaze to Xiu.
"I won't. I'll be proper." He promised, raising his hand in an oath. He chuckled at her 'threat' and put up his arms in defense. "Nooo~." He teased.
He had yet to notice Mac and Lizzy's tension.

"Yes, I had fun." Mitsu smiled at the baku. "I hope you had fun as well." As the baku pointed at her camera Mitsu gave a short nod her smile broadening. She looked forward to seeing what kind of pictures Xiu got.
Turning to Shun for a moment the lupine cast a short glance in Lizzy and Mac's direction. Maybe she would talk to her tomorrow after everything had calmed down and they all had time to rest. "Y..yeah I suppose I am." Mitsu nodded. "Tell Lizzy bye for me?" Mitsu asked the group in general.
That done Mitsu turned back to Shun a smile on her face. "I'm ready when you are."

Nodding to Mitsu, Shun placed his hands into his pockets before starting towards the door.
"Let's go home then."
He'd walk her back to her room first before crashing at his own place. It would definitely be nice to be back at his dorm where it was uncrowded and quiet. He wasn't really sure what he'd do right off the bat but he'd figure it out whenever he got there.

"Really now," Roch said, his eyes narrowing dangerously. "Then you probably shouldn't have agreed to be Claire's boilfriend in the middle of your date with Danny, now should you have?" he asked quietly before turning to Danny and holding out a hand. "C'mon, Danny, let the two lovers have some private time. You and me, we'll hit the auction and spend those chips you worked so hard to get, whaddaya say?"

She had been ignoring the various yells in the background up to now, but when Mac became distracted with it, she did too. Her hand tightened around his at his final 'answer' to her, a small smile on her lips, "And you know that my answer is already a 'yes'... I'm willing to try too." Her attention soon turned to Mot-against-the-wall, and she smiled sheepishly, tugging on Mac's hand to guide him towards the cowboil.
"Mot! Sorry for the wait!" She took his gloved hand in her free hand before turning to look at Mitsu, Shun, Xiu, and everyone else who was near with a smile, "Thank you for joining Mot and I at the table today... It was fun. But I have to walk my date home now-" Yes, walk him home, not the other way round, "-He looks ready to collapse! I'll see you guys around though, yes?"

"Lots of fun," She assured Mitsu, before waving at the retreating pair, "I'll see you guys again sometime!" Ah, everyone was leaving. Perhaps it was high time for herself and Vaith to start going soon too?
She laughed at Mot's response, but now that things were winding down, she found that her high from the happy atmosphere was beginning to crash. Suddenly, Xiu felt really tired, and this was emphasis with a yawn. "I guess...we should go soon." She murmured, rubbing at her bleary eyes. Upon hearing Lizzy's voice though, she quickly smiled and reached out to pat her friend on the shoulder.
"Yes. Sleep in and get a lot of rest you guys, okay?"

Okay. Wait. WAIT WAIT WAIT.
Moure was so confused right now. So completely confused. What was Roch saying about Moure being Claire's boilfriend?! He wasn't Claire's boilfriend, he'd only met the ghoul twice, after all! Moure's face was a mixture of absolute confusion and shock. (In short, it probably looked like this: " O A O;;??? ")
Moure put up his hands a bit, trying to get Roch to calm down so he could get an answer out of him. The Runner was still a mix of complete confusion, and he really needed some answers here. "Wait! Wait wait wait one second. Who said I'm Claire's boilfriend?! I've talked to her twice! And that includes tonight!" Moure's face and gesturing reflected his complete confusion about the situation. Still in a shock and oblivious of this so called "boilfriend" business, Moure shook his head. "I'm not Claire's boilfriend, at least not to my knowledge. I seriously have no idea what you're talking about, Roch. Why would you think I was Claire's boilfriend?"
That was it. Moure was officially SO CONFUSED, and his face showed it. Why was Roch so mad at him, and who had said he was Claire's boilfriend in the first place?! It didn't make any sense to the extremely flaggergasted Runner. No sense at all.
Trying to make sense of everything in his mind, Moure remembered all about all of the tokens in his pocket from his attempts at playing the games, and then about the auction. "If you're going to the auction, why don't we all go? Don't we all have tokens?" He knew that Roch did from what he'd said, both now and eariler, and he knew Danny did, since he'd played Poker with her and they'd both gotten token(s) from that. It didn't make sense in Moure's mind as to why they couldn't all just go to the auction together. He looked over at Danny, hoping to see if she could clear anything up for them.

Mot turned his head, and suddenly Lizzy was there with a very... upset looking Mac. He looked down as she took his hand then back up. She.. seemed okay? Yet not. What went on?
Wait, walk him home? "But I was going t---" He was gonna walk her home! That was the boil's job! He was supposed to be a gentleme----yeah he was pretty tired though. Lizzy was right. He was ready to collapse.
Mot nodded to Xiu, a soft smile returning. "You too." Finally it was time to go back to his bed, and his chaps! Oh man did he miss normal clothing!

Get a hold of yourself! Johan thought furiously, attempting to will the color from his cheeks. He was surprised, and grateful that Haddiya decided not to tease him for the blush, even though she had certainly noticed it. More typical of the demoness, he thought, was that unsaid challenge to enjoy himself. Her interest in him still worried Johan, for her couldn't be sure of her motives. In the back of his mind, the memory of how she'd reacted to his magic on the boat kept popping up like a backwater proverb. But the logical part of his mind noted that not once had she shown any malice towards him, even respecting his wish to not be touched. His eyes flicked down towards his collar. Most of the time.
The internal debate sufficed to return Johan's color to its usual pallor, and he seriously considered Haddiya's challenge. Taking another look around at the glowing lights, the music, the many, many other students there, he asked himself whether he ever could find something like this event entertaining. Maybe, was the answer. Though he rather thought he'd have preferred something on a much smaller scale first. And no hip thrusting. Whatever that mania had been, Johan wanted no part of it. Haddiya's question caught him off guard, resulting in a confusing mix of apprehension, guilt, and relief warring briefly for dominance. Another thing he should have expected from Haddiya, but one that neatly fullfilled his Mother's commands. At least she'd left the actual asking to him. Familial duties, he reminded himself. " Nein." he replied, slowly, considering his options, though really there was only one. "Perhaps you vould do me ze honor of granting me ze next one?"

She was trying to play the good friend and respect the boils unique boundaries. Nearly succeeding most of the time, though there was the occasional breach of personal space. Old habits and all that. But she was trying, and she sincerely hoped that effort hadn't gone unnoticed. She wasn't entirely sure why she wanted so badly for the two of them to get along, but whatever the reason she was a stubborn ghoul, and she was determined to win him over in the end. His answer to her inquiry was exactly as she'd been expecting, but the question he'd turned around and offered back to her was not. The serene smile slipped as she blinked at him, soft lips pursing gently in disbelief. Had he really just asked her to dance? Of his own accord and without provocation? She was stunned. So much so that she didn't immediately answer, staring quietly at him in puzzled silence before releasing her loose grip on her own wrist. She was delighted by the question, of course, but wasn't entirely sure where it was coming from. But dare she poke at it? No, not yet. Perhaps after.. Smile retuning, she held one delicate hand out to him. "It would be my pleasure." Really, it had been her intention to ask him for a dance since the moment she had spotted him, but she had not held onto hope that he'd agree. Now here we has asking her. She was of course curious.

As the second ticked by after his question, Johan felt a growing sense of alarm. Why was she looking at him like that? Oh, Jack. Had she not been hinting that she wanted him to ask her to dance? She didn't look angry. Just... surprised? Maybe? Ach! Ghouls! When she finally acquiesced, Johan felt a flood of relief, until he recalled exactly what he'd just asked to do. Dancing generally required physical contact. Easier said than done, in his case. He gave the slim brown hand a blank stare, like a deer caught in the headlights, before looking down at his own, stomach twisting. Gloves. He was wearing gloves, at least. Oh, right, and spookies. Johan quickly set the satchel of spookies down on a nearby table, and deciding it was best not to hesitate, steeled himself, and carefully took Haddiya's hand. He'd taken dancing lessons from his Grandmother, though she'd only taught him ballroom. Johan tried to concentrate on assuming the correct stance, one hand ( holding hers!) leading, the other placed gently on her lower back. He looked askance at Haddiya, wondering if she was alright with this. The current song playing didn't quite lend itself to ballroom, but...
