Smell. Beyond the stench of blood and piss, there is something. Hear. The moaning of the call girls and the battle cries of vamps and weres are only the outer layer of this city's heart beat. Taste. He could feel a mixture of things, all lined up and ready to converge, entering through his nostrils and leaving a pitter-patter of sweetness against his tongue. Feel, beyond the airy sky and the humidity of this room, there is indeed something far greater. See -- he could not yet, but he would be able to soon. All that his eyes could wander now was the white walls of this room, the two Succubus, the vampire, the raunch of their games. None of that mattered at all -- it was only the shrieking of the cicada in the morning to his ears, and the flowing of the grass against the wind. Humans and supernaturals did not interest him unless they demanded to be. There were creatures here who did, in fact, require his attention.
Home, Gettera town. It had a smell to it -- it was like life, a pocket full of posies, a caramel and a rose, some more amazing elements combined to fill the air. It smelled like nothing that ever existed, and everything that ever was. It was something that he could recognize from across the universe. He smelled it, here, approaching. It approached through the streets, up through the buildings that went sky-high, though some of it had been washed away by the country and the city. He smelled what was attached to it; blades and blood, neither could be washed away by a bath. It would take a thousand centuries of dreaming to fully erase the ailment of stench. Here, in Nocturne, there were so many smells. They were dark, then light, new and old. The weres learned to turn off their senses in order to remain sane. However, Brydent never did. He learned how to find the most common smells, and the most mundane smells, even surrounded by a whole world of something. That was why, at this moment, he could find what he was looking for without falter.
"Quit your games," he commanded the others in the room. They played like children while there were wars being fought, men and women dying. The actual children of this nation were being raped by ideologies and by starvation while the soldiers messed around. It was not fitting of them. Fifty points north, twenty east. 517X, 212Y. He'd found them, or what appeared to be them. Agents. Warriors. They smelled like travelers -- they'd run through Yuran, and into Gettera, and all the way up to Luimira. They were covered with the stench of blood, of the city, and of wine you'd find in a cathedral. He would go to see them, to meet them with blade in hand and a wrath that could bleed the sky. They, were enemies of Nocturne, and his life was now fully committed to the safety of this city.
"I have a mission... for you guys." He finally found the words, and he expected their immediate compliance. "There's a hotel, northeast of here. There are enemies there, and I need to get close to them. To see them. Lycans like me can read energy -- we can see the amount of energy within a creature, and even the velocity of it." He had an elaborate plan in his mind, though it would surely be impossible on his own. He had no desire to die, and so he required the presence of multiple talented individuals. "Lilith, you are a succubus. This makes you... dangerous." Unforeseen. The greatest weakness of every man and woman is their desire, or so some say. Even an agent of the church can be fooled by their body. After all, the first of Lilith's kind lulled the entirety of Fronta into her clutches with just a smile and a wave. "For your allies, for your enemies, you are dangerous. I don't really trust you, and frankly I find your antics to be inappropriate for this establishment. But you have an obligation to fulfill regardless, so I expect your assistance without question."
He didn't say anything more on the subject. He did not yet elaborate on what he wanted from her, he only said that he needed... something. "Apollo, you should come too. Never know when you might need a good vampire to shield yourself with, you know? I doubt we'll be fighting anyway, but there's a chance. It's a part of our job to cover all fields." There was, of course, some tension in his words -- Apollo's job was to be a meat shield, he said. The were had learned in his time here to not really trust anyone, least of all a vampire, or a succubus. They were demon-children, and they meant to do others harm. Brydent, by all means, was a man of honor and duty. He did not respect lies, espionage or any actions hidden behind closed doors. Even so, that was what would be required of this mission, so he could of course only resort to it.
"Anyone else who may wish to come along, should come, if you are ready. When I have the affirmation of Lilith and Apollo, then I'll start explaining my objective."

xxxxx "I suppose I'll tag along, but NOT as a meat shield. Apollo don't take aggro for anyone who can defend themselves, now lose an arm or a leg, then we'll talk. So, whats the game plan, sir?"
He said as sighed with relief, the next thing that would've been removed in the game was his shirt. He thanks his lucky stars that it didn't have to go down like that.

The Succubus wanted to leave, scurrying away from the scene. Something tugged at her hand, clasping it firmly. Lilith was showing another side of herself. She seemed caring, treading lightly over the feelings of Nox. It was a welcomed metamorphosis. She implored that Nox stay, almost surprised at the words escaping from her own mouth. Pondering the thought of staying in Caz, Nox bit her lip. People were complex individuals with diverse and intricate thoughts. What set people aside from animals, is that animals had to satisfy instinct, while the more intelligent lifeform could strive for more than that. They can endeavor for things such as love, knowledge, power. But every coin has another side; sometimes... you just can't help yourself. "Maybe... just this once? Just for... you." A melody of emotions surged in the girl. Excitement. Apprehension. Lust. Stress. All these things basked within her, as she was led to Apollo.
By definition, love refers to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection to pleasure. It can refer to an emotion of a strong attraction and personal attachment. To Nox, love was what came after the thunder storm. When the dust cleared, and the devastation was washed away, love was all that was left. Nox had gone through some shitty times in her nineteens years on this planet, but now, things were changing. Lilith was changing everything. Ever since meeting her, Nox's perspective, her outlook, her attitude, her life, had changed. Even with this short time with her, she could confidently say... that she loved her. Nox loved Lilith. By definition, Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. Nox feared revealing her feelings. "I'll have to decline."

Lilith watched Apollo as he reacted to her question. She had a wicked grin on as she lightly caressed Nox's thigh. The succubus really did love it when the girl wore those shorts. As he reached up and removed his scarf Lilith felt a surge of victory. The scars on his neck made her oh so curious, and she had a feeling the next question would be a win as well. She scooted ever closer to Nox and waited with anticipation for his question. And it had been a good one. Lilith was in the process of removing her jacket when the party pooper Brydent called out to them. No, ordered them to stop. A flash of annoyance passed over Lilith's face, though she complied. There would be a time to talk to Brydent about his attitude, and this was not it. She felt the win would taste even better if she got him alone. Lilith strode over to the wolf-boy and listened to his debrief.
Immediately Lilith chimed in, feeling offended. It was not that she cared if Brydent trusted her; he was at the bottom of her list right now. Inappropriate was the matter at hand. As a mage Lilith came to train in spells and the arcane arts. As a succubus, Lilith needed to train on people. Inflection, gestures, body language, head games; these were all apart of the package. She had just as much right to train here as anyone else did. "You are entitled to your opinion, dog. It seems to me that you're the only one around here with that attitude. You sharpen your swords and claws, it only makes sense that I sharpen my weapons as well." Lilith said, gesturing to her body. Perhaps Brydent was stupid enough to believe that her kind was not needed. The dark underbelly of the world could not be traversed by those with a heart of valor and honor. Every garden needed snakes, and it would be best to keep the most poisonous on your side.
Lilith's opinion of Brydent was rapidly deteriorating. Did he think himself better than her? That was a yes of course. "You are not my commanding officer. I'll help, because I'm nothing if not a patriot." Lilith said, feeling in a wicked mood. Hopefully whatever Brydent had cooked up would be more interesting than running at these enemies banging on chests and shouting. Lilith wanted some action, the naked kind. Perhaps she would even be able to bring someone a great deal of pain, equal to her own pleasure. The sparkle of excitement entered her eye. When Nox declined Lilith frowned. It looked like they were going to have to not only postpone their game, but have a chat later. Maybe it was how stiff it had gotten in here that turned her off. Regardless, Lilith wanted Nox by her side. She enjoyed her presence, and not only because Nox was wonderful to look at. Hopefully this mission would not take too long. Lilith had plans; dirty, dark, and desirable ones.

He glared an eye at Lilith, looking at her from a sided view as she spoke viciously in response to him. He supposed that he deserved it, considering he began the whole feud between the two. He didn't expect anyone in Nocturne, not even the sickly and the old, to back down when their pride was questioned. Lilith was no different, save for the fact that she was perhaps more dangerous than her words. He did not fear her, but he was well aware of what a rift certain influences could create within the military. She was a Succubus, designed to manipulate and control. He would always be ready to remove her head from her shoulders when it became apparent that she began to value herself over the city. If there was one thing Brydent was quite expert at, it was knowing. He could perhaps notice the tiniest little changes better than anyone. He could feel fear, like the wolf that he had become. He could feel and see and smell, and that was his advantage over all others.
"I do not have my own opinion, miss," Brydent told the demon of a woman. "I only think what Nocturne tells me to. I act when Nocturne bids me to. I am a soldier, and I have the same commanding officer as you. When I ask you to do something for me, it isn't a request. It's something that we both must comply to if we're to keep our loyalty from being questioned." He didn't really, in the end, care about people for what they were 'at heart' or 'in the soul'. He cared about them for what they could do, how they could benefit or detriment the nation. "Now," he looked away from the girl. His attention shifted to Apollo, then others. Anyone who would listen, and act. "Truth be told, no one knows exactly where these agents are located. This is only a well-taken guess that I've scrounged up from smelling around Luimira. There was word from down south that they were coming up here, so we've gotta at least take a look, lest that intel be wasted." He wanted to make that clear. This might've been a mission of running in circles and searching for nothing.
There were twenty million people, almost, in this city. Brydent was probably more in-tune with his senses than anyone in the world, but even he couldn't be sure of his findings. It was like looking for a needle across twelve haystacks, so you can expect it'd take more than a whiff to find the thing. Wagers needed to be taken. "More importantly, let's talk about our strategy. Firstly, we need to think about the predicament that our adversaries are locked in. They're in a foreign land, surrounded by people they find wicked. There are enemies everywhere -- every single one of us is an enemy to them. This means that they'll be ultimately suspicious, even one faux pas bringing them to violence, or worse, retreat. We can't have them running away. It is imperative that we do not allow this inquisition to be empowered by whatever it is they've found so far." This was one of the most dangerous movements that Nocturne would ever face. The Vangelists of Yuran, of Fronta, of Aramil and Kusana, they've united.
Everyone in the world could see it, and fear it. It was an attempt to -- ultimately -- remove demon-kind from the world. Nocturne would be shaken for millennial to come.
"We're going to infiltrate the hotel. Lilith will be doing the... espionage. Succubi can disguise themselves as human women and act however they feel like. That will, after all, be useful. You'll be talking to the hotel clerk, getting us rooms, keeping us from suspicion." That was what fit her talents best, so that was her job. "Apollo, you know how to glamor people, right? You'll be useful for interrogating residents of the hotel, without actually resorting to asking them any questions. I don't expect these inquisitors to be unprepared. They will, by all means, have some form of security keeping them from being found. If you ask someone a question out loud, they'll probably notice. Instead, you'll be acting similarly to Lilith, by chatting around and milking information from their minds." He was well educated enough on the other supes, but he would be honest by saying that he was not a clairvoyant on their abilities. Perhaps their roles could be assigned better, but this was as well as he knew.
The lycan whistled, and a series of small dogs ran to him through some pet doors. There was one corgi, one shiba inu, and one small little terrier. He looked down at them, forced a smile, and then sent them on their way. "Both of you will have one of these guys on hand. I can see and smell through them, so if you guys happen across the agents, then I'll know. The last one will be running through the building, searching. Same for me, basically." The terrier ran up to Lilith, and made no sound. It barely even breathed, it only looked into her eyes and stared with utter obedience. The corgi did the same with Apollo, and the Shiba Inu left the room to start his search. Brydent was ready to do the same, if the others were.
"Anyone else who wishes to come along, tell me. I'll assign your roles as well. If not, then..." He shrugged. "It's a team of three."

xxxxx Apollo nodded, "understood. I'm ready to get moving when you are!" He said as he stood at attention, he looked down at the mutt and sneered with his fangs showing. He could tell that Brydent didn't trust him nor Lilith, the forced smile said it all, and having the flea-bitten fur bags following him and Lilith didn't help. But, he would take the canine with him and show no ounce of disdain towards it, mainly because the dog was following Brydent's orders and couldn't help that. He would begin to move out and await for the other two at the rendezvous point for the mission.

Part way through Brydent's speech Lilith tuned him out. She nodded her head every now and then to seem attentive, though in truth she did not care. Her thoughts were far away, resting in the Red Light District with one of her many lovers, albeit her favorite of them all. It had been longer than three days since Lilith last pleasured anyone, let alone herself. She was growing impatient and rather thirsty. The more Brydent spoke the more Lilith imagined how many times she could stab him before he finally died. He talked a load about what a succubus could do, as if they all did not know. Once the dog was done stating the obvious he got down to the actual business. Lilith nodded her head to show her comprehension, that was simple enough. She frowned when he added in the part where she would have to take a dog with her. Lilith stared down at the beast with minor disgust. Dogs were filthy creatures. The little terrier staring up at her with as little soul and spirit as Brydent had did not charm her in the slightest. Nonetheless this was apart of the mission. Lilith could play the part and would win an oscar for her performance. "Let's not waste anymore time. I'll need to prepare." Lilith said before sashaying away. She already had the perfect outfit in mind.

Kumori The Shadow Magistrate ╔══════════════╗ Kumori had arrived back at the training area, seeing Din sitting there motionless, the young boy glowing a twitching aura as he advanced straight to Novice Rank. It seemed as though Din's time that was spent sitting was well-earned as patience brought him power. Kumori sat down beside Din, in Lotus position before he sighed and looked to Din. "So, how long have you been stuck here?" Kumori asked him as Din looked to Kumori and soon held up an open palm. "Five hours from what I have heard and counted." It seemed as though while Din was here for five hours, he had learned the basic language fairly easily. Luna Moon Luna, once a member of Nocturne, but now a wandering rogue, made her way inside the assessment facility. She could remember the first time she came here, and she could remember Fenrir. That stupid mutt had caused her more trouble than he was worth. He had been nothing but a pain in the a** to her and the rest of his students. It didn't look as though he had been here in a long time though, which made her quite happy. It wasn't like she wanted to run into him anyway. He would have probably just told her to fall in line and follow him like always. The feline shook her long black hair and laid her white ears flat against her head. Screw it, this was as good a spot as any for some people watching. Luna set down her bottles and took a seat on the ground, stretching out her legs and oversized feet. Well, they looked oversized. In reality, her hands and feet were the same size as everyone else. They were just encased in garments that gave her the appearance of having large hands and feet. The feline popped off the cork of a bottle of wine and began drinking, taking quite a few large gulps before coming up for air. She didn't see too many people in the assessment area other than a couple low ranking grunts. Oh, that brought back memory. Entering into Nocturne with aspirations of becoming something great, only to be beaten down by the dog and put in your place. It was so much nicer to be free. Luna didn't miss that at all. Kumori The Shadow Magistrate ╔══════════════╗ Kumori noticed the being enter, her power overwhelming around the place as he sighed and looked towards her. "I take it you're here for visiting?" He called out to Luna as Din looked to her as well, examining her from top to bottom. "She seems to enjoy drinking games." Din told Kumori in a bland and boring voice, but it seemed as though their guest was really into drinking and lazing around in the place. It wouldn't take long for Kumori to sigh and get up, crossing his arms for a bit. "Well, I am quite parched... mind if I have one of them?" He asked in a sarcastic tone of voice to see what her reaction would be. Luna Moon Luna glanced from one of the men to another. She was slightly annoyed at their assumptions of her, but played it off with a coy smile and a slight twitch of her long, white tail. "So what if I do enjoy drinking? Last time I checked, it wasn't illegal to do so." Luna said before looking over to Kumori as he came over to her. She could tell that he was being sarcastic, and that didn't quite sit well with her. Luna demanded respect, whether she deserved it or not. Especially from a low ranking citizen like this kid. "Oh? Are you sure you really want a drink? I didn't hear any please. Of course, your tone isn't quite sincere either. Shouldn't you be a little nicer to someone you've just met?" Luna said as she continued to sit there, taking another four of five gulps of the booze that she was drinking. "Besides, aren't you a little too young for this stuff? Oh I get it, you're a bad boy aren't you? A renegade who feels the need to prove himself to someone he doesn't even know in an attempt to show his superiors that he's actually worth a lick. That's it isn't it? You know, I used to care about s**t like you once, but then I got bored and left this whole city behind." Luna said with a grin as she looked to him. She seemed very serious. She seemed like a b***h for picking on this guy, but she was actually just kidding around. She took another few gulps from her bottle and set it down. "I'm just kidding sweetheart. It's been a long time since I've talked to anyone, and I like to mess with kids like you. But my answer is no. You can't have a bottle. Not unless you pay me for it anyway. I'm not going to give this premium stuff out for free after all. No, that would be stupid. Especially when I might be able to get something in return for it, regardless of what that may be." Luna said as she leaned back. "How long have you been in Nocturne, kid? Hmn...I guess I should stop calling you kid. We should probably exchange names. I'm Luna. That's about all the info you'll get from me. I like to have a certain air of mystery about me. So what's your name? And who is that sour puss over there." Luna said, pointing her tail over to Din. A succubus had a real easy time around these parts. After her brief stint in the Lumirian Army, Lilith Odam grew immensely bored with the men and women she saw everyday. A yearning for her old life burned hotter than some of the nights she spent with other people. It didn't take much deliberation for this demoness to decide what she wanted more. To be a good little soldier or take what she wanted and leave nothing for the rest. So one day Lilith just up and left and didn't return. She made her way to her old hunting grounds; the RLD. Red neon signs, leather pants, and the screams of pain and pleasure called out to Lilith. The first night she arrived there was a certain craving she had to satiate. All it took was one hot and heavy look, perhaps a puckering of the lips and a swinging of the hips. That night had been quite the ride, especially later when Lilith choked the life out of that guy. Turned out he had owned a brothel around the corner. Long story short, Lilith was the new head of the house. She had a nice chunk of money rolling in and a handful of employees. For awhile she had taken time out of her life to train these men and women in the arts of bringing pleasure, and equal amounts of pain.
After so many nights of the same old crap Lilith found herself bored once again. She was craving a higher position in the world aside from just being the proprietor of the best whorehouse in the city. And so Lilith was back at the ridiculously named Spwoon Fort, ready for some action. She pushed the doors open and sashayed inside, her heeled boots clicking smartly against the hard floor. Lilith always had this perfect messy look about her, like her hair managed to fall exactly in place without her even trying. Her usual getup adorned her soft and smooth skin, black leather and black leather. Unfortunately there was hardly anyone in this place, which made Lilith release an exasperated sigh. Here she was looking for some fun and all there was available to her was tall, pale, and bloodsucking, his monstrosity of a son, and some cat thing. That creature caught Lilith's gaze and had her taking a moment to check out her long legs and shapely body. Maybe there was something interesting to do around here after all.

Kumori The Shadow Magistrate ╔══════════════╗ Kumori chuckled slightly from her responses to their assumptions as he got closer to her before he crossed his arms a bit. "Of course it isn't illegal, but you just have that air of booze that can get an entire place covered with the smell." He responded to her little comment about the legal nature of enjoying the drinks of alcohol. He kept eyeing her up and down, getting an idea of her kind but not so much of on her class. "Not really, I don't drink low class rum, I would rather prefer the expensive kind of Shadow Essence Wine than this. A prince does not need to say please nor should he be nice to those who are culturally illiterate. I am old enough to drink alcohol whenever I please... and I only need to show one superior that I am better than him..." Kumori told her as he was getting quite annoyed with her teasing, until she began to speak about her being kidding. "How long exactly? How long have you been disconnected to the overworld that is Axiom?" He asked her before he soon pulled out a few pieces of onyx crystal coins before he tossed them to her. "A year of nocturne bullshit and this place has been ransacked by zombies" He responded as he sat down before her, soon Din coming over to follow as she suggested on stopping with the kid name. "I and Kumori Hell.... I am the current Exiled Prince of the Shadow Kingdom. This here... is my hand-made son... Din... he's more of an emotionless creature than anything since he was made a mere month ago." Soon the doors opened as Din was the first to look over to see the Captain having returned. He slowly stood up and waved at her to come on over to where they were.
