yes vorty, ur right about there being regular & irregular past tenses for a few choice words in the english language (ie: burned/burnt, sawed/sawn).
but alas, ur incorrect for pointing us out as wrong because the verb spell is one of those special cases wink

Shock, I have discovered that it all depends upon your chosen dialect. I prefer the traditional, un-adulterated form. You are American, so somehow you must also be right in your own silly way.
Forgive me for trying to call you "Wrong". As I am surrounded by those who misuse the language as such, I shall permit you to continue for fear of further egotism. wink
