Ken of the Long KnivesSunagakure's Butcher  Ken just chuckled as the hole was blown in the floor and then he bowed before Sanshi Satetsu. "Name is Ken sir. I would have to guess that since I'm still in here and I've been burning my mouth constantly on that damn leaf technique." said grabbing a piece of ice and sucked on it a bit. "I seem to have issues with Chakra, though sword play isn't too hard in itself I suppose." he muttered slightly embarrassed by his own failures to learn.

San smiled as his feet told him that a whole in the floor had been created. It seemed Suna's new demo expert would be quite the use to them. With enough "special grooming" he could probably be an ANBU, but more specifically in the Department of defense and Homeland security under James Poe, San's best friend. with a small speech, the ninja slammed his foot on the ground while still sitting in the chair...and the floor repaired itself!!!!!
"nicely done! You are making me very proud young padawan. Your next technique will be rather difficult, as it is at the jounin level! But i think you can accomlish it right? Its called Explosive release: Radius Blast. The user places their hands flat against the ground, and concentrates the explosive chakra from their hands into the area around them in order to create a perimeter. After a moderate amount of preparation ( 1 post ), the user will release one last push of chakra, causing a radius of ten yards to be engulfed in a powerful blast. Although the perimeter is created to protect the user, because the explosion occurs so close, they will still suffer some damage. Good luck with this! Still try this technique with all your might. James is around and can heal you if you need it."
Meanwhile, the other clone talking to ken gave a small smile as he patted the ninja on the shoulder.
"Its ok buddy. Chakra is a very difficult thing to try to master, especially if your discipline calls for the practice and concentration in other methods of combat. Have your tried meditating, and concentrating? It can help your chakra flow....."
The original san clone then did something only a few people in the village had ever sen him do: Draw a sword. The ninja was out to practice his Bukijutsu: Shunkan no Hagane. If Howaido was here, he would easily put him to shame. Yet he was still out on assignment, so San had to at least train this one himself. So San concentrated on how to do the now complex buki technique....the first one he had encountered....

Maro's eyes went wide as the hole he just created was completely repaired by San.
'Well, if he can repair everything in one second, I am sure he can beat me in that amount of time.'
Maro laughed a little bit and felt so great inside because of his teacher being proud of him and then focused on what his teacher said his next ability is.
'Jounin level? Wow I am getting up there good, maybe I can maybe one day become like San.'
Maro said to San, "Alright I will give it my best shot, Jounin level or not, I've got this!"
He rushed off to have a good distance of at least fifteen yards between him and the nearest person because San said it creates a perimeter of a powerful blast. "Please anyone in this room, do not come within ten yards of my training."
'This will hurt me but eh... chicken scratches, time to get going!'

Maro leaned down onto the ground and placed his hands flat. He released chakra like he did in the skill before but instead stored it rather than preparing to rip with it. He had sat preparing the chakra for what he was about to, trying to make sure he had enough.
(1 Post Preparation)
Maro realized he had waited a good amount of time and thought now was the time. He then focused on what the skill was going to do 'Create a ten yard radius explosion around me making an area of 314 square feet to engulf mass enemies.' Maro then released one last push of chakra and watched the area around him light up a little bit but not much. The blast was really weak as if the chakra wasn't fully released.

'Well that sucks.. This takes an insane amount of chakra to do but also control of it. Let me see if I can get further what San told me to do earlier with my chakra to see if I can gain control of it.'
(Chakra Training Mission)
Maro had sat down where he was and started to meditate.
He picked his hands up into the generic hand signs that he did while he was in school and started to practice manipulation of his chakra. He dispensed his chakra to his hand only, then his feet, then his legs. He continued to test his balance into putting chakra into one part of the body.

Maro then started settling his chakra, letting be at rest but be at his command just like the landmine palm skill, letting it be released where he wanted at a certain time. He threw his hands out and put chakra into his hands, not to cause an explosion but to know he could do it.

He started to make sure all chakra was following the direction he wanted it to, but to test himself he wanted to see if he could disperse chakra evenly throughout his entire body to create explosive skin all the way around. He started to distribute chakra to his hand, then tried to go to his right foot but it seemed the chakra focus on his hand was depleting.

Maro tried to keep his chakra and focus on both parts of the body but it seemed to fade with whichever he thought about more. He kept using his mind trying to evenly disperse it and keep himself focused on hand and foot rather than one or the other. He pictured it in his mind.

At that moment Maro felt complete control, when he pictured in his mind what he was trying to do rather than just words, he could evenly disperse it. He could have chakra in both feet, a hand and foot, anything he wanted. Still unable to make it his entire body that strong he still could evenly distribute chakra all the way around him.

'Okay, I feel a little bit better about my balance of Chakra, let's try this again.'
Maro stood up and shook himself a bit. 'Time to get down to it again.'
Maro yet again leaned down towards the ground and placed his hands flat. He released chakra like he did before. He had sat preparing his chakra, trying to make the right balance.

After a little bit Maro then pulsed his chakra into the floor yet again, watching an explosion come from beside him but not a major one. The explosion seemed to cover about four yards radius around him.

'Darnit, closer that time but not good enough! I felt that one a little bit.'
Maro had put his hands to the ground yet again, eager to get this right. He flowed the chakra into the floor as if to store it again and waited. This time a little bit longer than before.
(1 Post Preparation)
He then breathed in and out and said to himself "This has got to work." He pulsed his chakra into the floor and saw a bigger explosion around him. The explosion reached around 7 yards but he couldn't see how far it went until it vanquished, the evidence in the black marks of the floor. The explosion rose above his head for he was kneeling.

Maro started talking to himself "Dangit it didn't go as far as its supposed to and I barely felt it again, but that was close! One more try! Well, I will keep trying til I get it right but shut up self! One more try!"
Maro got down to the ground again and started storing the chakra into his hands on the floor, yet again. He focused so much on this time, making sure he had more than before. He smiled as he felt so confident this time it would work. When he got the amount of chakra he used his body's expression to imprint this memory into his head so he could use this again if it were correct.

Maro then pulsed his chakra one last time and exploded the area around him. The explosion was so big it hurt Maro to be in the middle of it, and it lasted a good five seconds. The range of the explosion was close to ten yards and he didn't have to see markings because he felt it, his natural sense of his Bakuton bloodline was coming strong in him. He could feel the little particles being broken apart by the blast, the movement of the explosion and all in a little five second burst. He felt at home.
After the explosion subsided Maro stood up confident, standing in the posture of a strong man. He looked towards his teacher and let out a tiny smile and head nod.
"There's a boom for you."
He tried to keep a professional posture but in the end he started jumping around like a kangaroo on steroids, he was so happy of what he had done.

San smiled at the prowess his student went to perform the technique. He was quite skilled with his bloodline jutsu, and if he were to be able to channel it....he could have some serious fun. Speaking again, the ninja had the ferro fluid model follow him again to illistrate the chakra and movement of the kids next technique.
"Great job! Your a real pro at bakuton! Your next technique is Explosive release: Explosive grip. The user concentrates explosive chakra into one of their hands before attempting to get a hold of their target. Once a firm grip is established, the user releases three sharp explosions at different points on their hand. The differentiation in the explosion locations causes distortion and internal damage beyond the effects of the blasts themselves."
With this the ninja went back into practicing his own bukijutsu. Focusing his chakra into the blade, the ninja aimed for one of the boulders....18 feet away from him. In an intense second, the ninja used his previous shunkan training to utilize a fast and precious slash. The blade extended, in a flash of red, and quickly cut through the boulder with impressive cleanlyness. With a satisfied smile, the ninja ran his hands over the last technique on the scroll. So...he would actually be a shunkan no hagane master.....what would howaido think?

Maro listened intently to the instruction his teacher was giving him and watched the ferro fluid as it performed the technique in air.
'So I can do this even without making physical contact? Nice.'
Maro channeled the chakra to his hand. He put his hand in the air like the ferro fluid without gripping and only opening it slightly and tried to pulse the chakra out from his hand but not the same way as the explosive wave. For some reason nothing happened. Maro stared in puzzlement.

'Why could I not make an explosion?'
He replayed in his mind what the ferro fluid actually did. It put its hand in the air and gripped, not slightly open hand. He then put his hand in the air charging chakra and gripped it tight as if he was grabbing something. Then he pulsed the chakra out as if something was there and felt the explosion inside his hand, although minor.

'Okay time to test the strength that I can make this ability.'
Maro went and picked up a small piece of a broken boulder from before and took it in his hand, he lifted his hand up and gripped it putting chakra into his hand. He then released it to make the explosive grip and blew the rock to small particles.

'Alright let me find a rock the size of a human arm even though a rock may be a little tougher than skin, it should represent bone alright.'
Maro searched around for a piece relatively the size of an arm. After about a 2 minute search he found one the size of the average buff person's arm. He put chakra into his hand before picking the rock up and then picked it up. He then put it out and gripped it tight as if grabbing someones arm and pulsed the chakra from his hand. The rock exploded into a bunch of little pieces like sand. Some of the rock actually made it towards Maro's face and covered it but did not get into his eyes luckily.

'That wasn't so hard, I guess it will be easier to grab someone and make them follow me since I could blow an arm off.'
Maro let out a laugh and looked dumb because he laughed at something in his head. He turned to San and said, "I am going to have to be cautious when holding hands with a female." Maro started laughing again.

San stood there clapping his hands together. The kid had come a long way...and had improved tremendiously! Hopefully he knew other stuff that he wanted to learn.
"Nicely done my padawan! Thats all you you can currently learn of your bloodline, the other techniques require your ability to control and use chakra to grow a little bit more...which unfortunately takes time and practice. Dont worry, you stick around here you will surely grow.."
San then began to pulse and flow the chakra through his body, getting ready to perform the last and final technique in shunkan no hagane. it was slightly humbling to think that a ninjutsu expert such as him could master such an intensive style. He figured he had other techniques he would want to learn, but that was for another time. Focusing, the ninja breathed in.
He felt his chakra flow through his body, exciting his nerves and muscles. His reaction time would be halved, and his sword movements would be twice as fast. In this stage...he could even take on James physically....
It was miserablly interesting, and San was happy he had the chakra control to control it. If he didnt, then his ability to use this technique would have been diminished. Thankfully this wasnt the case.
San was becoming more aware with what was going on, and the connection of his nerves. Jame's medical information and knowlege allowed him to more accurately follow the path of his nerves. This would ultimately prove helpful...

Maro looked around and noticed a book shelf. He walked over to it and searched for a book called Suna's Art of War. He grabbed it and walked back to San.
"Teacher, I want to study my main style taijutsu now. Can you teach me in that?
And also can we go to the dojo where there is better equipment for it or should I train like this?"
Maro dropped the book in mid air and kicked the book(Softly) to illustrate no training equipment or mats.

The ninja smiled and spoke softly to his padawan. He was now going to venture deep into the art of taijutsu, one that San was kinda versed in it. Hopefully he would be able to more adequetly teach him.
"Sounds good to me buddy. The dojo is a fun place to train. Very militaristic. My old college Howaido and i sparred many times in their. James may be around to, so you will get to see his physicallity. Maybe manny too....ets go.
Finishing his technique, the ninja felt absolutely alive. It was a good feeling, but San still ended the technqiue. With a hard day of training, San figured he would work on some chakra next. That way he could continue training and be a strong ninja...even though he was labled a legend.

Ken thought on the words of the San and sat down and folded his legs as he sat with his sword in his lap and closed his mind to the world. He focused his mind attempting to allow his chakra to flow through his body and fill where it needed to, after he had reached his place of zen he grabbed his sword eyes still closed and moved from position to position of blocking, parrying and slicing in slow smooth motion.

"all is for naught if one can not stand for his people." Looking at his sensei with a quizical look Steven seemed to perk up slightly. "before we get started... could you explain to me how being blind is more useful? and maby teach me to fight blind?" he asked sliding the hidden mist technique scroll off slightly to the side as he waited for a response. as he was very fidgity he started drumming his hand on the floor as he sat cross legged. chakra:175/175

San's expression was of slight concern, but he gave a solid and honest reply with a good heart and even voice.
"Well most of our brain is wired to aid with sight. Although sight is a useful sense, it is very easily confused and manipulated against us. So by going blind, and rewireing my brain and nerves to be used for other areas, not only do i lose a "weakness" in my opitnion but i also gain valuable memory spac and computing, logical, and analytical power. Its rather helpful."

Ken put his sword back in his sheath and just chuckled. "It's true the chakra can do the same thing, but never to the ability that your own senses can. Also, what happens when you run out of chakra?" he asked in reply to the question the had been asked to San.

San would nod to both the gennin, as they both had valid points. He was always up for ingenuity, but sometimes there was a right and wrong way to do it.
"Well you could Steven, but Ken is also right. If you really want to learn how to do it, then just have James work with ya. I do it this way because its better and easier for me. Also, im so strong with my bloodline abilities that all basically augment eachother."
