brandon perfetly time his dive and ends up grabing kidd by the ankle and pullls her down to the botom of the pool mrgreen
(sorry for the short rp ^)
dairus had just finshed puting up his new stuff in the back of the truck when the kittn/dog debate was being decided. just after he closes the door a total strenger pops up and get frendly with pryo 'he's screwed'darius tought as he leand agienst the car and watched pryo play with the guy twisted

Kidd smikrs at brandon and flipps him over holding his sholders to the bottom of the pool. he couldn't hold his breath for too long, and she could breath underwater. Her eyes begain icey and a wirl of ice filled the water around them surounding the two with a dome of ice. she slipped out before it inclosed branodn. she floated near by, she wanted to see if he could get out. alkl fun and games, he'll be fine

brandon kicks the ice a coupe time to break it making a small hole (he has strong legs)just big enouf for him to get trough twisted thm he pulls kidd under watter and at the sal made it look like 2 cartoon shark were annoying her with danceing. the whole time him and becky were laughing rofl

the whole time kidd and brandon rough housed becky was planning a good plan and while they wer both under water becky got up on the diving bored dived and slip in beween kidd an brandonas soon at the reached the surface mrgreen twisted mrgreen

Kidd batted away the cartoon fish, but being cartoons, they kept popping up. she was getting very annoyed. she waved her hand attempting to send a wave of snowy ice their way, but just then becky surfaced right infront of her and Kidd hit becky instead. "woops soory,"

Cloudkicker John cocked an eyebrow. Neighbor? he thought to hisself, who the hell calls someone they don't know Neighbor. And who is he in the first place...the boy looks familar. Forget it I don't need to know and I don't have the time to start anything. And to top it off I'm sure there are plenty of cops around here somewhere and I don't know if everyone with me can handle the cops.... and to top it off, I don't have my flamethrowers with me. John thought all this while reaching in his back pocket for his secondary lighter. The only time he took out his zippo was when he was forming fire. Tossing it to the guy he said "Here. Catch." Catching it and tugging one of his smokes out. "Thanks." He pulled off a glove and started lighting his cigerette. *Much better.* He thought taking a few puffs to get it going. *flash* He saw fire. Nothing new there...concidering that he was holding a lighter. He then saw the person who threw it to him manipulating that fire. Very Interesting you don't see that everyday that ment he was a mutant. A name? Hmmmm....James? No. Jack? No....John....yup thats the name. A nickname....Pyre? No, close but no. Pyro...that sounds more likely. More? He could hear someone screaming in pain and fire was everywhere....anger he could feel this mans immence anger and he could almost smell the burning of the wood, plaster and the people who were unfortunate enough to have triggered that temper.... /end vision. He jerked at the last series of images as he tossed the lighter back to John. The sudden bit at the end causing him to toss it back a little harder than he intended...ok he practicly threw it back at him like it was a live cobra a seriously disturbed look on his face. He wasn't quiet expecting that last bit he read off the lighter. In an attempt to hide his expression he took a drag off his cigarette and schooled his features. Ok, wow that was probably the last thing he expected to see imprinted on a lighter. --Edited for better reaction.--

'Mantis' stood leaning against the red brick of the discount shop, now bearing Lance's blazing signature. Her segment eyes flickered behind and beside her. Lance was only a few feet away from her, but he couldn't see her, of course not. She had disappeared for a few days, the cover was...difficult to keep. She was tired of the ruse. Her green scaled skin rippled uncomfortably. She stepped out of her hiding place, standing wide-stanced in front of Lance. It was almost amazing the quickness and quiet within which she could move. Her pointed hands settled on the sway-back hips she couldn't really hide. The five-foot-tall timid looking teenage green girl was facing off with one of the toughest folk in the brotherhood. One of. She opened her mouth, and instead of the hissing insectlike voice she had gotten the x-men used to, she spoke in the silky baritone taunt the brotherhood had feared for so long.
"My god, Lance, your signature's awful. Do you sign checks like that?"
With that, she smirked in the old way, and towered to her usual height, which, though only a few inches higher than Lance, was frightening all the same. Her eyes flickered gold again, but this time, not through an electric shock. And they stayed that way. No pupils, just yellow, like a blinded panther. Her scales flipped over in cartwheels and melded into an aquanine blue. The spines of her arms retracted, and her cropped blond hair fell to her shoulders, veining down like tendrils, and deepened into a shade of maroon. Finally, after her slit white uniform had taken hold, a tiny skull at the base of her hairline crafted itself and shared her smile at his face of shock. She spun on her heels.
"Come on, let's see the damage you've inevitably done to my house."

After a while, Katie made her way back inside the institute. She had seen several of the other students in the pool, but decided not to join them. She figured they wouldn't really appreciate a bunch of short blue fur floating around in the water. Once she entered the main foyer, she teleported up to her room, wondering what had become of her friend, Mantis.

John saw everyone finally getting ready to go when two things happend one right after another that totaly caught him off guard. First was the fact that while waiting for his lighter he noticed a kid in a far corner spray painting the mall. What a.... wait a minuet, John thought to himself as he quickly recognized who that was. "HEY LANCE!!!!!" he cried.
The second thing that happend was his lighter hitting his face. It would've been alright seeing as he wasn't paying attention. Problem was, the fact that it actually hurt ment that it had been thrown at him, not tossed. John turned his full attention to the guy. huh, wouldn't you know the one time I actually try to do something nice it literally gets thrown back in my face, he thought to himself. John looked at the boys cigarette. The litte heat was all that he needed to get back at the boy. Jonh focused and there was a scream of pain given by the stranger as his cigarette had exploded into a small five and had lef a burn mark on his hand. John took out his zippo lighter, light it, and waited. The boy had made his first move, and John had responded. Now it was up to the guy what would happen next.
