Hey Pasta It's not even 1:00pm yet and already today is a wonderful day. <3 *happydance*
I GET TO LIVE IN A HOUSE WITH THREE RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME GIRLS AND A HOTTUB AND A BABY GRAND PIANO AND IT'S CHEEEEAAAAP!!! And I have enough money saved up to get a new mattress, AND I thought of a really neat idea for a birthday present for my boy. =) =) =)
I don't care if work is absolutely awful tonight, 'cause this morning has been awesome and I get to see my best friend all weekend. *happydaaaaaaaance* congratulations!

Man, I come to Gaia, read a bunch of threads, and think of things to say, but for some reason, I can't bring myself to post.
I used to post here a lot in the past; now, I come and read things on a regular basis (daily, every couple days, etc), but I can't ever think of things to say.
:< I feel terrible. I'm like that in other parts of Gaia too, other guilds and whatnot.
(Side note: I was this way before becoming a mod too, so don't throw that at me. T__T I just feel worse because I worry that people think I don't come around much anymore because of being a mod, but that's not it! I'm barely active at all, idk.)
And my art has been suffering big time for the last couple YEARS. ugh. I just want to be satisfied, and I can practice all I want but nothing changes. Motivation = gone. I see so many people producing such gorgeous things, and I try to improve myself and nothing works. Meh.

You know, why do we use this thread for everything? confused Why don't we just use this thread if we want to vent something and when we just want to talk about what's occupying our mind we make a new thread or if it's too random we post it in the Seaking thread?

I thought that's what the point of of this thread was... venting and saying things that we don't expect to spark discussion or conversation.

From what I read of when the old chat topics were retired, people were annoyed that all that went on in "What are you thinking?" was random bitching. So this thread was made for people to whine in if they wanted, and other people could avoid the negativity. But everybody pretty much posts everything here. I gave up keeping my s**t to the proper topics because every time I go to post something in the chat thread, I find that I'm the last one to post there.

True. Even though we use this thread for everything, at least it doesn't have WAYT's negativity... nice to know that we all have good things to get off our chest now and then. Or maybe that was a natural result of teenage angst?

/continues with that negativity.
Note to self: if someone wants to go at 9:30 am, they're lying. What they're really doing is answering the door in their bathrobe at 10:00 am. Nice. Really nice. Not like I had anything to do, like, earn some money for babysitting. Nope. None of that.
Also: TURN THE AIR OFF. I'm not dying of freezer burn. I swear. What's with excessively sweaty people and/or their kids who HAVE to have their air conditioning on FULL BLAST in ice cold air? I dunno. I just don't know.

I don't think that's what most people use this thread for, though. I mean, I don't have a lot to vent about here, maybe everyone else just likes to write things without anyone reacting.

Seems like it to me too. But it started to become a chat thread a few dozen pages ago and Ryo said he didn't mind--he said it could be anything they wanted it to be. *shrug* Doesn't matter to me as long as people are posting but it would be nice to have some structure, I suppose. And that's really awesome pasta! Really cool after all the bad roommates you've been having. ugh

I need to stop drawing the worst conclusion first. You're not ignoring me, you're just busy. And I know that. So why do I get all anxious every time it happens?
I knew not freaking out would pay off in the end, but I can't always just go take a nap when my chest starts to feel tight and I feel like crying. I'm going to have to find a better way to push it down. gonk

I always thought of this thread as a one shot comment, rant, or just random thoughts that needed to be said.
It was never intended for chatting, but if something came up where some chatting was brought up because of what someone said or felt it was also find.
That's why it's a junkyard. xp
