Adrian scowled slightly, smiling internally because he finally had people who were laughing with... no, wait, they were still laughing at him, but he didn't care, as long as they weren't giving him any weird looks. He smiled nervously, his arms kept in his usual semi-defensive position, and said "Ach, weel, ye gotta have a big imagination when ye're a hunter, makes ye expect the worst, ye ken?" He smiled nervously again, his eyes darting around. "Oh, ach, sorry, Ken means Know by the way." He sat down, pulling a small silver flask from his coat-pocket, which was actually just a pouch he stitched onto the inside with shoe-laces. He slowly and carefully put it back into his pocket after he took a large gulp, warning that asking for a drop would just mean that he'd throw something at your head. "An' for ye're information this ain't alcohol dependency..." He smiled hollowly, looking down, "I can quit anytime I want."

Tokeru arched his eyebrows at the scottish man, and wondered, wondered if they had cake at Haven.
He returned his attention to his love, and kissed her. "I'll join you soon, but I have something to do first, and you can barely stay on your feet as it is. I'll be joining you soon."

Edith was thankful that she didn't have bowel movements any longer because they'd been very inconvenient ... "You know that you really shouldn't drink, it's not healthy for you and it only makes delusions go away after you black out from being completely and totally wasted. Even then, you might dream about stuff and it'll still be of no help to you because you'll just be conjuring up visions of creepy things or whatever it is you see in your sleep. Then you're not going to want to sleep and then you'll get some sleeping disorder from all the nightmares you get after you get completely totally wasted and black out. Besides, in the time that it does take for you to black out you might also see things that you don't like as well, weird visions I mean. So really, the alcohol isn't helping you at all or at least I'm pretty sure it isn't. The stuff tastes rank, it messes with your brain, it's expensive and it just makes you puke, how in heaven's name can you like it?" She was really confused about him drinking the beverage.
She then turned back to Tokeru and kissed him back, a smile on her face until he said that there was something else he needed to do. "Nah-uh. You're shitting me. There ain't no damned way on mother earth that you're heading off to do something else. YOU couldn't even stand and now you're wanting to go off and do something else? I think not. You're coming back to haven, now. I don't care what you're doing, it can wait, you need rest and I refuse to return to haven if you're not. COMPLETELY and UTTERLY refuse. You got that? You better have because I'm not making any friggin' negotiations or compromises about it. I'm going with you where ever the ******** it is that you're going regardless of my condition and what you think or say." She wasn't quite wobbling yet but she was definitely aching really badly all throughout her body, something she hadn't experienced since she'd been a human.

Tokeru smiled and chuckled. "It wont take long love, I'll be joining you shortly, and I promise I wont get hurt or anything like that. I just need to go visit someone. Then i'll be joining you, besides, I'll bet you if you went in the car you'll just fall asleep."

Adrian looked up, his mad look gone, a moment of lucidity taking over for the briefest of moments. "Ye see lass, I've seen things, mentally disablin' things, I ha' a shock to me brain ye see." He downed the rest of the flask, and said "So in my book, anything that contains alcohol and dusnae give me the bad memories straight away like usual is basically Jesus in a bottle, ye ken?" He threw the flask into the air, and skewered it onto one of the long Titanium Alloy blades which deployed from his arm. "Besides, like I said, I can give up when I like." He threw it away dramatically, carefully taking note where it landed, he would need it later on. He looked at Tokeru suddenly, and said "So, explain to me again, why did ye come o'er here and dig in my home anyhow?" He withdrew a small chocolate bar from another pouch in his coat, and looked at it longingly. "Not one scunner in this whole damn city sells these." He breathed, holding it up. "Dunnae ye americans know about the all powerful power known as... the Mars Bar?" He looked at it for a while, and unwrapped it carefully. He devoured it, licking the wrapper, sighing contedly.

Edith perked up and smiled when Tokeru began his explanation of how short it would be and she even bothered to cut him off, seeming to have not heard the middle portion of his statement. "GOOD, GOOD, VERY GOOD!" She exclaimed, purposely shouting over top of Tokeru so that his statement was overpowered by her own audibility. "If it won't take very long then having me tag along should not matter since I can manage for a while longer. I'm not that weak, gimme some credit, especially now that I'm a vampire. I can handle myself and walking around while you do something that doesn't take all that long isn't going to kill me." She then referred to his statement about her falling asleep in the car. "Well if I fall asleep in the car then I will be resting so that should make you perfectly happy and content so I guess there's even less of a problem with me coming along now isn't there?"
Her smile was absolutely mischeivous and completely boastful since she was confident that she'd won that argument. Actually, there was no way he was going to make her go back to haven and she knew it so that was the purpose of the smug grin on her face even as she turned to Adrian. "I'd assume so since you wouldn't be afraid of non-existent things as much if you weren't shocked in your brain. No offense, of course." She put up her hands, slowly waving them as if waving them would convince him that her statement was true when actually it was just a habit and Eden talked with her hands quite often. However, as she watched her hands waving and looked to his eyes and thought about whether or not he was a tolerant alcoholic or not, she decided to wave them faster. If he could follow them with his eye movement then whatever, she was really just doing it for her own amusement, not to actually prove anything to anyone or herself.

Tokeru sighed and rolled his eyes. "You're not driving at least. If you're gonna fall asleep you are gonna sit in the passenger seat. Now, hand over the keys."
He held out his hand and awaited her response.

Meredith merely smiled innocently though it was really just a smug grin to rub it in that he wasn't going to be going anywhere without her no matter what he said or did. She was aching but she would be able to survive since she'd been through much worse and had survived much worse as a human so as a vampire she could take this for a long time before actually giving in. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that but knowing that vampires actually did have physical limitations was both a good thing and bad thing to know as far as she was concerned. It was good because then she knew that she wasn't invincible and that she could actually get hurt and it was bad because she could get hurt and wasn't invincible. She snapped out of her small thought and rolled her eyes back at Tokeru, mocking him with a small subdued giggle. "Fine, I won't drive even though it's really fun and I drove carefully when you weren't feeling good." She stuck her tongue out at him and headed for the car. "I'm keeping these until we get there though so you can't drive off on me."

Tokeru rolled his eyes again and sighed, walking to the car with her. He opened up the car door for her, and waited for her to sit down before closing it.
When she did, he walked around and sat down into the car himself, waiting for her to hand him the keys.

As she walked just a few steps ahead of Tokeru, she too sighed and rolled her eyes, mocking him as she walked to the car with him in tow. When he opened up the car door for him she smiled at his mannerisms and how he could be a gentleman as well as an absolute a** hole if he wanted to be. But always with her he was just an absolute sweet heart that was to die for. She knew that Tokeru was a keeper whether or not everyone else liked him since it wasn't like she was seeking other people's approval. Sure it would be nice if people liked and approved of Tokeru but it wasn't their life it was hers and she'd love whoever the hell she wanted to love, people be damned. "Such a gentleman you are," she decided to comment, "Angel. Even when you don't get your way and probably wanna pout, you're a gentleman."She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, got inside the car, waited for him to walk around to his side of the car and handed him the keys with her smug grin.

Tokeru took the keys and shook his head at what his love said, knowing anything he said would be met with a firm "No" so he didn't bother.
He put the keys into the ignition, and putting car in in drive, peeled out. Heading towards the subway.

Eden just continued to smile as he placed the keys into the ignition and turned them. She was proud that she'd managed to win their little conflict and let him know that he couldn't always go out on his own and be macho, especially after he'd been as weak as a baby. She wasn't letting him out of her sight since she was extremely afraid that the scientists that'd captured him would somehow know he was different and come back for him to make him miserable again. She would never allow that to happen and she was almost afraid to let him do anything on his own any longer in fear that those scientists would come again. Meredith was also worried he'd do something stupid to get himself hurt or worse and that was something she wouldn't be able to deal with right now. "You'd better be careful, whatever it is that you're doing." Edith told Tokeru sternly, obviously being extremely paranoid though that was typical for a hunter.

Adrian climbed out of the rubble, yawning, stretching out his arms. He had been rather lazy for the past...week. He decided to go for a stroll, he took his coat off the large metal spike coming out of the ground, and ran out of the rubble towards a small Ford, ran past it, and put on his shoes. "The most energy conservin' transport of all, ye ken" He said to himself, he ran off down the road, heading towards the distant lights of the city.

Jasie casually strolled by the rubble and wondered what ever happened to the Shadow Stalkers and their elite recon force’s. She kicks bricks aside and strode by the exterior to their Chapterhouse. Originally it was a 1300 square feet building, with solid titanium doors, windows and etc… all that was left of it’s structure, lay deep within the earth of it’s underground facility. Jasie gazed at the broken UV streetlights and smirked at how a 5 story, or at least underground 5 story crumbled-- when it had so much defense mechanisms that would hinder it’s self, from ever becoming in it’s now, current state. It was a pity, yet then again it wasn’t. They truly were, bad a**’s-- but I guess even ego’s and bad a**’s presume there’s nothing worse then them-- until their faced and defeated on their home turf. “Ouch” Jasie thought, yet sat on some rubble and simply wondered and thought to herself.
