Marie nodded, "Of course." She leaned in and gave Vlad a kiss on his forhead. "Sleep well." She whispered softly. Marie stayed in the chair next to his bed and watched him as he slept.

Marie sits by Vlad's side in awe, thinking, "How did this work? Is it because I'm supposed to stay alive? Or because I love him more than my longing to be human again? Either way I'm here, why not enjoy it." She softly sighed as she reached out to hold his hand.

Smiling Marie said, "Alright, I am tired too. But no strenuious activity ok? I want you to get better as fast as you can." Marie walked to the other side of the bed and climed in. She laid next to him and wrapped her arms around him.

Vlad chuckles, "Relax, I wouldn't have the energy to even if I tried." Vlad falls asleep almost instantly.

Marie smiled. She cuddled closer to Vlad while thinking, "That's Vlad alright. I know he'll be just fine." Marie knew she was tired and her eyes were getting heavy. She looked over at Vlad and softly said, "Sleep well." She kissed his hand and fell asleep.
