The furby monster watches Jack run off so she jumps from tree to tree to follow him, she stopped when she saw Jack run into a woman. The furby awaited in the tree quietly.

Should he be hearing the voices too?)) ((Have Boone bump into her and think she's going crazy or something, because she's raving about voices and such. Then he tries to comfort her and Sayid gets jealous because then he'll come upon them hugging/cuddling in the middle of the path becuase she obviously too stressed to go to the beach yet, oh by the way, love the hair. I was going to get that hairstyle as well, as soon as I got enough gold))

OOC: Um. Don't forget that Jack is covered with blood.
BIC: Heather looked in the direction that Jack ran with a stunned look. He was in trouble, but by what. She looked in every direction (except up) to see if she could spot it. But there was nothing in sight and she couldn't here anything aproaching.
Heather looked down at herself. Some of his blood was on her. Suddenly the memory of what she saw days ago came to mind.

"Leave me alone!" Shannon called in a voice bordering on hysteria. "For Christ's sake! Go away." She continued to throw glances in every direction, paranoid and completely dismissing any kind of practical joke.

Sayid was making quick work of the path towards the caves. The sooner he was back with Shannon, the better. His confidence in her well-being was very quickly disappearing and he felt overwhelming guilt for upsetting her. She was afraid...afraid but stubborn and he'd let that get to him, he'd listened to her against his better judgement, but really...it made no sense for her to walk all the way to the caves and then all the way back to the beach.
His shoulder hit something solid and he broke free from his thoughts long enough to realize that he'd just run into Boone. "Sorry...' He said quickly, not wishing for a confrontation. Then he stopped. "Boone!" He called, spinning to face the young man. There was no love in his stare but the anger was gone. "Shannon is taking the path to the beach by herself...she's upset and she wouldn't let me go with her...go talk to her. Maybe she'll listen to you." He said. Boone studied his face for a moment and then nodded.
"Of course...why-"
"I don't know why she's upset, but she is..." Sayid gave him a smile of gratitude and concern. Hopefully they had reached an understanding. They both loved Shannon and getting along would be better for her than fighting, and both watching out for her would be better than competeing. Anyways, Boone was obviously happy with Claire. He was no threat.

"Alright," Boone agreed. He wasn't sure why Sayid was being so nice to him, but he was relieved. There were enough problems to deal with on the island without a jealous hatred over a mutual ...love interest thing. Besides, Boone had Claire now, and Sayid probably needed Shannon as much as Boone knew that she needed Sayid.
"I'll go find her," Boone assured Sayid, then started in the direction that Shannon would be taking, hoping to cut her off on her way to the beach.

((Well I didn't feel the need to mention how much blood Jack was covered in...))
Jack slid behind a tree and leaned against it, this time the thing that was after him was out for way more then just a simple bite. He breathed heavily and waited to see if the monster would follow. He thought he heard another scream, but decided it was his mind playing tricks on him again.

Shannon paled. The voices had stopped for a moment and she was left standing, shaking and covered in sweat, clutching her bag to her chest as though her life depended on it. "Shannon?"
"Go away! Leave me alone!" She screamed, whirling around to face a shocked looking Boone. "Oh, thank god..." She breathed and before Boone realized what was happening, she'd thrown herself into his arms. "I heard them...they were calling me...they kept saying my name...they were everywhere." She mumbled into his shoulder.

Boone put his arms around Shannon as he tried to sort out what she could be talking about. Was her pregnancy doing something to her mind or was it something worse? With this island, one could never tell. Deciding that it was probably best to find out, he asked, "Who was calling you, Shan?"

The furby monster followed Jack quietly and stared at the clueless Jack beneath her. To control the urge to attack she started chewing on leaves.

((Shannon and Sayid had a disagreement-she stormed off for the beach, heard voices calling her, Boone found her, Jack was attacked by the furby monster and heather has built herself a home-Sorry if it's jumbled. I'm too flabbergasted by the finale right now))
"They were-I don't know. I couldn't see them, I could only hear them...they were whispering like they were right beside me and ********..." Shannon bit her bottom lip in an attempt to stop the tears. Boone's hands were running up and down her back. She sighed. "I don't know..."
