Also, I just mathematically taught Kai that his Space Ships are freakin' huge. As the Mars has a volume of 28,110,473 metres cubed. As it is they could fit approximately 992,714 10x10x10 (measurements here in pesky feet the metre measurement is 3.04 cool rooms if we gutted them and they were just boxes. And since the Mars is kinda small I quickly did the Jupiter (quickly thanks to Teddo using metres) it has a volume of 195,000,000 metres squared cubed and can fit 6,886,371 10x10x10 rooms if gutted.

A room that is 10 feet by 10 feet by 10 feet has a volume of approximately 28.3168 metres cubed. As 10 feet equals 3.048 metres. I could of done the math wrong so if you want to check me feel free. The squared was a slip of typing, if you look it says cubed everywhere else.
What I did was 195,000,000/28.3168 which does equal 6,886,371.3413945. If I did something wrong tell me, I am not the best at math.

While the size does seem insane, I did consider proportion when making it. Its width is the length of a Nimitz-class carrier, its height 1.7 Nimitz-lengths, and its length is 5 NimZ. I just made my own unit of measurement. But I think the size works, considering it was designed to be a space juggernaut. It's not exactly going to be entirely 10' compartments; there will probably be only a few thousand compartments, with a few huge bays and engineering sectors. Plus conduit volume, engines, ship systems, sheer volume of walls and flooring, and the fact that it's not a perfect cube. Once you look at that, it probably won't feel as big as it should.

Well, to be truthful this only came up 'cause Kai wanted me to reduce the amount of Scimitar Squadrons I had put on the Great Fox, as he thought that 120 Scimitars was unrealistic. I became genuinely interested in the math and that was what resulted. biggrin
Oh, yeah and the 10x10x10 rooms where just an example, according to Kai the engines should take up 1/3 of the ships volume. So really the ship size in that light isn't really that unrealistic. (Let's just say all the metal used to build them was made by magic! xd )

Huzzah! Me and Smiles have them until next Friday, we do have Monday off though.
Edit:
Yay for Space Flight! Where direction doesn't matter as much. So technically I don't have any thrusters for turning right now, but I can use the force from launching missiles to do that. If Scimitars have some sort of inhibitor so the kinetic force of the missile launchers doesn't jerk them, well everything should have a manual switch off...

Wait, that sounds dangerous...I'll just not be able to turn I guess. Which, frankly will be an amusing problem to me at least, I thought of a genius way to move Forward, but not left or right.

Will you approve Gwath's character, Dart? I think he'd be a valuable addition into the Battle Hymn Universe. He's a Drathonian Moonie who's insane, and subsequently has plans to 'demoralize' Terrans that aren't actually harmful, but hilarious. Like replacing the laundry detergent with itching powder or something. Or putting laxatives in the booze. Ohhh, that's a good one!
He'd really lighten up the lulls between battles right? I believe there's plenty of space for laughs aboard the Battle Hymn.

Just as a heads up guys, I am in my finals week so I will be fairly busy the next few days with studying, then once my finals are over I will be doing ACT cram sessions up until the 13th, then on the 14th I will be leaving for Europe for two weeks. I will be trying to get another post up soon, but that will probably be all I can do for the remainder of the month.
