Daniel eagerly accepted Neville's hand and pulled himself up to stretch out his lower back. "Hey...I'm not sure if I asked you, but are you interested in Dungeons & Dragons?" He asked as he slowly led the way.
Jake caught up to them and he grinned at Crucius. "Well she's my..." He looked at her trying to find a way for him to get her out of this. "My...girlfriend." He wrapped an arm around Anna-Marie's waist after getting closer to her. "Where she goes, I go."

Neville raised an eyebrow at Daniel. "I'm not entirely sure I know what you are talking about..." he admitted sheepishly. "Could you explain it to me?" .
Anna-Marie's face was probably a deep red now. Especially since Jake had placed his arm around her waist. She didn't know exactly what to say, or if she could speak..
Crucius raised an eyebrow. It was quite curious, the two of them suddenly together. "While I must say, I am suprised you are going out with her, Jake, however, she still has to go to the Carrow's and speak with them alone. No one else is allowed in there with them, especially not any students." ' Who's loyalties are questionable..." He added the last part mentally as they continued their way into the castle and up to the Carrow's.

Jake escorted Anna-Maire persistently, his arm still wrapped around her waist. "The Carrows? Really? Well...I need to speak to them about my Voldemort problem." There was another bang! as another group of Death Eaters were apparated into Hogsmeade. "See what I mean?"
Daniel grinned widely. "It's a Roleplaying game made by muggles. You create your character using a book and a sheet of parchment. And you also have several dice to determine your life points, how much damage you do, and how good you can sneak around." He expertly explained as he used his hands to animate what he was talking about.

Neville listened with interest, smiling as he saw the enthusiam in Daniel as he explained his game. "Well, sounds interesting. Maybe you can teach me how to play." He offered. He didn't think Daniel got to play much due to the fact he was at a school full of wizards, so he'd give it a shot .
Crucius scowled as he heard the bang, and glared when he heard Anna-Marie laugh quietly. "You'll have to wait until they are finished with her, Jake." He stated as they walked up the ever moving staircases. "I wouldn't press the issue if I were you." He warned.
Anna-Marie had indeed chuckled when she heard the pop, even though it was odd to hear it so clearly when they were about to enter the school. They had begun their way upstairs to the Carrow's office, and she turned to Jake. "Please don't push the issue...It won't take long...I promise." ..

"I pressed the issue with yo mama." Jake said as if to be funny and in turn laughing heartily at his own joke. He calmed down when Anna spoke up and he grinned down at her. "Alright, whatever you say love." He said casually, letting go of her waist.
"Really!? Cool! Jake's going to be excited when he hears you will be playing with us. And then maybe she will come and play with us too..." Daniel pranced about as he excitedly gave out the Gryffindors password and hurried into the Common Room.

Neville smiled, glad he could make someone happy. He entered the common room behind Daniel and proceeded to plop down in one of the chairs by the fire.
Crucius nearly turned and hexed Jake for his comment. However, Anna-Marie had gotten him to drop the issue and calm down. Or at least he hoped so. They had arrived at their destination. "Go ahead and head in, they're expecting you." Crucius stated, appearing bored.
Anna-Marie was kind of disappointed when Jake let her go, although she wouldn't admit it to herself. When they had stopped in front of the office, she bit her lip and went to head inside, casting a glance back at Jake. ..

Daniel went up to his bed and came back down with a heap of books then went back upstairs. For the next hour or so he took a trip up and down the stairs, forgetting completely about his magical ability to summon things on a whim as he was too excited to remember that he was a Wizard in training.
Jake watched Anna-Marie head inside before turning to Crucius with his arms crossed over his chest. "Having trouble with Pansy?" He asked, wondering if he was going after Anna for other reasons besides the Carrows.

Dimitri Dolohov was in a rather good mood. His father was out of Azkaban, the Dark Lord was in power, and Dimitri had killed his foster family. It had been a good year, all in all. The teen brushed his black hair out of his eyes and walked with a smile on his face. This smile was sadistic, murderous, and generally evil looking. Dimitri had his wand out, hidden in his sleeve. It was a habit he had picked up. Mudblood sympathizers were everywhere, violent and nonviolent, and there was no way Dimitri would be hexed while he and the other Slytherins were ruling the school. The teen rounded a corner. He saw Jake and Crucius outside the Carrow's office. Dimitri raised an eyebrow and walked towards them, "Crucius." he nodded. Then, he glanced at Jake, "Defi." he sneered. Dimitri hated Jake with every fiber of his being. A muggle-born? In Slytherin? It was an outrage. Dimitri would kill Jake himself as soon as he possibly could. The teen looked back at Crucius, "How are you, Crucius? It's been a while." his Russian accent shone through only slightly when he spoke english, something he prided himself in.
Dimitri had missed the train to Hogwarts. He had been with the Dark Lord for a small amount of time, proving himself. While he still wasn't a Death Eater, Dimitri was in the Lord's good graces at the moment. The teen glanced at Jake, wishing he could strike the teen down at that very moment. But, now was not the time. No, not at all. Dimitri would wait until he could really hurt Jake. He looked back at Crucius, "How has school been? Anything interesting happen while I was gone?" his wand slipped into his hand and he gripped it so hard his knuckles turned white. He glanced at Jake again.

Neville tried not to laugh at Daniel as he sprinted up and down the stairs. In a way, he reminded Neville of himself. So in a way, he was almost laughing at himself. "You got everything yet?" He asked curiously.
Crucius raised an eyebrow when Jake asked him about Pansy. "What's it to you?" he stated before turning to spot the finally returning Dimitri. "Indeed it has...too long in fact." He stated, giving his friend a smile. He had heard the reason behind his absence and was envious, but glad he was back. "Eh, school has been school. This year has been better than the others though." He said, and with good reason. Due to the Carrows being there, most Slytherins did what ever they pleased. "Nothing interesting, yet." He said before casting a glance at Jake. He turned and whispered to Dimitri, low enough that Jake wouldn't hear. "My sister, Carina, is playing double agent. All those goody good Gryffindors think they can trust her to some extent. She's trying to see if any of them might know the whereabouts of Potter." With that, he leaned back against the wall.. "They have a seer in there...asking her if she's seen anything about Halloween. You might know her. The Dark Lord had her family kidnapped so she'd cooperate." .
Anna-Marie was asked the same old questions, repeated the usual answers. No, she hadn't had any visions Yes, she was telling the truth. They repeated the questions after making her take truth serum. Or so they had thought. Ages ago she had replaced their stock with plain water. After a few minutes, they dismissed her, and she almost walked right into the three boys outside the door. Her face flushed red and she looked down at her feet.

Dimitri nodded, "The Denali girl." he mumbled when the girl walked out, "This is her, I take it. Hello, Ms. Denali." the teen bowed respectfully. He even managed to make the school uniform seem classy and elegant with his demeanor. It was something Dimitri was wonderful at, appearing sociable and elegant. When he wasn't on school grounds, he often wore expensive suits and classy robes. The teen enjoyed flaunting his adopted family's wealth, even after they were dead and buried. Dimitri smiled and looked back at Crucius, "My friend, we simply must find the time to wander the grounds together. I don't suppose you could take some time off of your busy schedule to joke around with me. You Lestranges are very busy these days, I hear. No time to speak to us Dolohovs." he winked. Dimitri had to get away from Jake before he sent one of the unforgivable curses in the mudblood's direction. The Russian gripped his wand tighter and tighter. To calm himself, he went over the information on his wand in his head. 12 1/2 inches long, Black Ash wood, dragon heartstring. The wand was black with a beautifully detailed dragon carved into it. The dragon was hand-painted blood red, giving the wand a murderous, threatening look. Dimitri loved it and, for some reason, it calmed him down.

Crucius nodded in confirmation as Anna-Marie walked out. He smirked as Dimitri bowed to the girl. She seemed flustered. It was amusing. He had to admit, his friend was quite classy. He returned his attention to Dimitri as he spoke. "As a matter of fact, I'm free now. We should have plenty of time to catch up...Maybe we can find my sister so you can say hello to her." He suggested, having no idea where she would be. Probably off with Raven somewhere. He could tell his friend was concentrating on restraining himself when it came to Jake. So, to prevent bloodshed for the moment, he turned to try to led Dimitri away and out to the grounds once again. .
Anna-Marie had blushed when Dimitri bowed, and she was unsure of what to do. She had bit her lip, her eyes looking at him briefly. At the moment, she wanted to get out of there. She always hated being surrounded by numbers of the Dark Lord's supporters. It made her uneasy..

For the moment Jake let the two talk. He glanced at them both sensing their hatred towards him and it made him chuckle in amusement inwardly. When Anna-Marie stepped out he immediately joined her by her side, and once again wrapped a protective arm around her waist. "Let's leave, sweetheart." Then towards the two walking away. "It's always a pleasure to be in the company of those from the Lestrange and Dolohov families. And...my Russian may be a little rusty but...Maya rukovodstvo Temnogo Lorda vyʹ." Translation: May the Dark Lord guide you. Jake gave them both a slight bow. "Dosvidaniya to you both."
It wasn't a mockery of Dimitri's language. It was more like a challenge.
A challenge that said: "Go ahead...speak your secrets in Russian. They are not hidden from me."
Defi turned to lead Anna away, as he did so he made it clear to Dimitri of his own intentions by flashing a sliver of his blade out of its sheath towards the two. As soon as the wanna-be Death Eater had come into view, Jake's left hand had immediately gripped around the hilt of his blade.
Unlike Dimitri all Jake had to do was close the gap between the two and pull his blade straight out until cold steel met bare flesh. And not even with his primary hand.
Of course that was a problem at distances of more than 15-feet but it was something Jake had been training on.
But for the moment he kept the peace as is. There would be time for bloodshed and it was not now. Silently he escorted his "girlfriend" away and back towards "their" tree.

Daniel huffed as he went upstairs then searched around the Common Room high and low. He pulled out the Pen that was in his ear and sucked on the clickie end as he thought long and hard. "Where is it. I swore I left it here somewhere..." He said to mostly himself as he paced back and forth in front of Neville.

Dimitri relaxed as Crucius led him away from Jake. Then, he heard Jake's comment. He turned around aimed his wand at Jake, "Do zat vone more time, mudblood. I dare you." his accent always came out more when he was angry, "I vill kill you, I swear to ze Dark Lord, I vill!" the Russian threatened. He glared at Jake's back, hatred burning in his eyes. Dimitri slowly looked back at Crucius. He took a deep breath and frowned. Bloodshed wasn't necessary in the situation, but... Dimitri looked back to Jake, "Crucio!" he flicked his wand at the mudblood, funneling all of his anger and hatred into the spell. It was obvious that this was intended to hurt Jake. Nobody disrespected a Dolohov and got away with it. Nobody disrespected a pure blood and got away with it. Nobody spoke to Dimitri that way. Nobody. The Russian smirked, satisfied, and turned to leave with Crucius like nothing happened.
He walked with his old fiend at a leisurely pace, not in much of a hurry, "Perhaps we could find ourselves some pleasurable company. Unless, of course, you are still with Pansy. I'm slightly out of touch with the dating scene. Serving the Dark Lord doesn't provide many opportunities to meet nice, pureblood girls my age." he chuckled, slipping his wand back into his sleeve with a smile. It was plainly obvious that something about Dimitri was very wrong. He was no different than normal, so his close friends wouldn't notice his drastic mood swings anymore, but to an outsider, Dimitri was much like a ticking time bomb. It was just something you had to get used to around him. Violence was almost a constant with Dimitri. Dueling, brawling, torturing, bullying. Those were some of his favorite past times, so he didn't think twice about cursing Jake and then walking away.

Neville still smiled at the Daniel, even though he wasn't paying attention to him. "What are you looking for, Daniel?" He asked, wondering if he'd seen it. "Wait, why don't you just use the summoning charm instead of searching for it?"
Crucius snickered as the unforgivable curse was directed at Jake. His friend Dimitri had more of a temper than he did, yes, but he did something he wanted to do ever since Jake had decided to tag along earlier. Before too long, they had continued on their walk to the grounds, that's when Dimitri had brought up Pansy. "Ah, so you heard about the two of us dating. Well....we are only together to get back at our exes....Raven and Draco. In other words, it's an open relationship...no strings attached." He explained. It was true. Ever since Raven had dumped him after the first quidditch game, he'd been set on trying to make her jealous in the least. However, it seemed it wasn't working. .
Anna-Marie had seen the curse coming moments before it had been cast. So, doing the reasonable thing, she pulled Jake out of the line of fire and away from the other two Slytherin's as fast as possible. "Don't go back and try to start something, alright?" She half asked, half told him. "Instead, since they are headed outside, lets head up to the astronomy tower." She suggested to him, still leading him away from Crucius and Dimitri ..

Dimitri chuckled, "Ah... I heard about that. Raven. Right. I believe your mother briefly mentioned something about that when I was at Malfoy Manor running a few errands. Brilliant woman, that Bellatrix." he smirked, looking out at he lake. Dimitri had grown to respect the Death Eaters that surrounded his father, rather than just admire. When he turned 18, he was one of them. That's all there was to it. They had each told him little snippits about how their children, and his friends, were doing. The Dark Lord himself had informed him that a Riddle was attending Hogwarts. Of course, after that brief moment of kindness, the Dark Lord was cold and distant. He wasn't a very talkative person around his own unless they were in a meeting.
Dimitri clapped his hands together, "What do you want to do, my friend? Perhaps terrorize a few mudbloods? Push a few Gryffindors around? A practice duel? I'm up for anything, Crucius." he looked at the Lestrange and smiled. Crucius had been the first person in this school he spoke english to. Crucius had been the first one, other than the person who had translated the boy's homework into english, to know his last name. Crucius had been the first to know he was connected to the Dark Lord through his father. In the end, Dimitri's life had always had one constant. Crucius. Dimitri was glad to have Crucius as a friend.
