Well, it depends on your tastes; I like slices of apple, or popcorn (preferably pan-popped); some like cookies, or rice cakes, or... smile

It's about twelve here, and I'm a bit tired. But I don't want to sleep yet.
I want to plan on making a holiday dinner for my friends next week.
*plans to make turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and probably a dessert and white elephant gifting*

(aretoo's favorite white elephant gift was a "do-it-yourself backyard luau"; I went to World Cost Plus Market and got some mini-tiki torches, a couple buckets filled with ocean rocks, and a couple tropical-style glasses. It went over quite well.) ^_^
Are you doing the standard "everyone draws a number; first person chooses gift and opens, 2nd has the option of that gift, or opening a new one", etc? ^_^

But it'll probably be something very similar to that plan. I like your idea of a mini-idea-kit though. I'll hit up a thrift store or a dollar store sometime this week after I shop for foods.

Whenever we've done that, we've set a dollar amount. It's fun if you have to spend EXACTLY that much... ^_^
