Kusaragi Anise_is_my_replica I'm playing .hack//Infection. Gods I love this game... I've wanted to play that series... but that would mean that I would have to watch the end of the TV series that isn't on TV anymore and Aretoo would have to see it too so he knew what was going on... then I would have to get the first game and then the next, and then the next... and so on. crying But I have other things that keep me preoccupied. Actually, the first series of games takes place before/during .hack//Sign, i believe. During Liminality, which comes with the first part of the games/ Seeing the anime isn't needed, just as playing the games isn't needed to understand the games. I mean, sure, there are some things you'll only understand if you do both. but not all of it. Jiro: Well, I really only just started playing. I mean, I'm not very far. I have Data Drain and all though

Actually, the game and the anime ova is after SIGN. But... as you said Celes you don't need to see the Anime to understand the game.

Oh, id takes place after Sign, Jiro? Last I read it was before but...whatever. because...doesn't Aura come "alive" in Sign and all?

Anise_is_my_replica Oh, id takes place after Sign, Jiro? Last I read it was before but...whatever. because...doesn't Aura come "alive" in Sign and all? She wakes up for the first time in SIGN. If I remember correctly she's trying to be destroyed in the game series by Morganna. In Seven, Dark? I'm not sure what you mean by multiple parts.

Dark_Wyvern I played Dirge of Cerberus. By parts i mean there are multiple games...i might just have misunderstood what whoever it was that told me told me there were more. VII is the only one with several games, wich aren't different parts of the story, generally at least

There are multiple games. It's surprising that VII is the first game that they've made different 'sequels' for. I'm not counting FFX-2 though - that was just fanservice.
