The man seemed calm. Misa figured he knew he was not in any real danger. She sheathed her sai, and continued to stand behind him. "I guess you could say that.." She said softly.

Baku smiled to himself.
"I figured as much."
He paused to flip a couple pages on his notebook.
"I'm Baku, I'm new to this acadamy, and you might be?"
Again he waited for a response.

"I am Misa." By now her smiled had faded. The emotionless mask had come out. She was reading over Baku's shoulder, interested in what he was doing.

Baku closed his notebook and returned it to his pocket.
"I apologize Misa, but it's rather personal in that book, I'd rather it be viewable to only myself."
He turned to face her.
"So, which Dojo do you study at, if you don't mind me asking?"
He looked to her with his silver eyes, waiting in curiousity.

Misa nodded slightly, understanding about the notebook. "Well I mostly come here now. But I started at the Mizu dojo, and want to continue with that. The Ho dojo has also a bit of my attention."

Baku nodded to show that he had understood and acknowledged her words.
"I am looking to start training at the Yami Dojo. I know some ninja techniques, but very few, and very basic. I wish to learn more, to strengthen my understanding."
He gazed around the room apathetically.
"So what do students do for fun around here?"

Her icy blue eyes followed his gaze. "I was never here with this much lack of people. But mostly we train, and the senseis test us. Also we learn from them."
That reminds me.. I need to find a teacher.. She thought to herself.
She looked back at Baku's face.

"Would you like to train? At least until more pupils arrive. It would kill time, and really help me out, I'm dying to know what kind of advanced techniques this acadamy offers."

"If you are expecting those techniques from me.. You will not find any. I have yet to be trained in any. But I do have some fire power, from my.. other half. I can fight hand-to-hand very good too."
Misa eye's watched his expression, waiting for dissapointment.

"If that's the case, then we'll be pretty evenly matched."
Baku stood and waited for a response.
"What have you got to lose?"

Misa lightly shrugged and jumped down to the training area.
"I guess I can.." A smirk seemed to cross her face for an instant, but it was gone, before it could really be noticed.

"New guy!!!!" Kenshin yelled from the top of the stairs, having just woken up. "Hiiiiiiiiiii..." he said, flying down the stairs toward his head, his fingers ready to pluck the hat off of his head.
